YAY! I've been stalking lmao

percy wasn’t doing anything at the end of last episode. once the ship left the ocean and was lifted into the sky, there’s nothing he could’ve done. and he knew that.

Percy's canonical fatal flaw being loyalty has always been such an insane and unique choice because there are VERY FEW heroes whose core "purpose" is service to others. It's usually just a perk or a pro instead of something that drives them fundamentally. Hopefully as the series goes on, they really highlight it because it's pretty sick in the books!

There’s a plane in the wreckage under the water by the sirens, too—possibly indicative of Amelia Earhart too. The show didn’t really do a great job of explaining it but just like how the Underworld was in LA, the sea of monsters is supposed to be in the Bermuda Triangle and explains why so many strange things happen there

LOVED this episode these kids' actors I feel are really coming into their own so so talented also those sirens were absolutely terrifying but did love getting a glimpse of Athena hopefully we get more of her in the future and Percy as a Guinea pig surprisingly hilarious 😂cannot wait for the next episode ❤️

Yall it’s been a couple thousand years, I think at this point, if the Odyssey is being spoiled for you, that’s on yall lol 😂

them not showing what happens after the heroes (how they refer to demigods in this universe) leave is kind of the point. like they arrive, they intervene, they help or are helped, sometimes they even bring destruction… and then they move on. not because they’re cruel or malicious, but because that is simply the reality of their world. and people that are left behind face the aftermath, they are the ones who live with the consequences. this is a recurring theme throughout the books and it kinda echoes the nature of ancient myths i think that said, I do understand the criticism about the beginning. even if he was going to fail, i still wanted to see percy do something...:( but maybe they’re intentionally laying the groundwork, slowly building toward the season finale where hopefully we’ll finally see percy’s water powers in proper use

and great reaction as always guys!! 👌🏻

Lmao you guys can kinda relax a little, CC's spa is just another stopover location for them to get to where they really need to go. I know the episode was interesting, but the show isn't about CC's spa, lmao. They're on a quest. It's not that serious. Love the attentiveness though.
