What perfect timing i just got done with the episode NYEHEHEHEHEHE

JHow

Yeah, no. Lucy is wrong; the Legion pronounces things correctly. Thing is, the Legion is using Classical Latin, which differs slightly from Church Latin, which most modern speakers, and probably also Lucy, would be more familiar with. So, in proper Classical Latin, Caesar would be pronounced "kai-sar" and not the americanized "see-sar" most modern English speakers would tend towards. Which makes sense, given that, without wanting to spoil anything, the og Caesar was a highly educated man, and he would have known enough about history and linguistics to know how to pronounce these things. While I've seen many people believe that Lucy's lecture is meant to highlight the Legion's ignorance of the history they are copying (and to be fair, for many of the common soldiers that's probably true), I feel it's more meant to show Lucy's own ignorance. Just like so many other times, she thinks she knows how to do things better than anyone else, and just like as many times, she's simply just wrong or too naive in her views to see her own ignorance of things. (Also, side note, yes, "Kaiser" is also used in german; however, the german word Kaiser comes from the original latin word Caesar. They just changed the spelling over time.) In other news, Xander is a prime example of why I never could get on board with the insistence of some people to pretend that the Brotherhood are good guys. A lot of people who got into the series with Fallout 3 have a completely false idea of the Brotherhood. They may have dedicated themselves to altruism and helping others, but to assume that every other member of the Brotherhood are as altruistic as them was always a foolish idea. The Brotherhood were never good people. They weren't in 1, they weren't in 2, they weren't in New Vegas, and they sure as hell weren't in 4. They'd gladly kill any "abomination" (aka anyone who isn't a "pure" human) - or anyone who isn't a member of the Brotherhood, really - without batting an eye, and the only scenario in which they'd "help" someone is if that person possessed any kind of valuable electronic device, which they'd either steal from them immediately after, or they'd simply kill the person they "saved" to get their hands on their tech. The only time the Brotherhood did anything that benefitted the general populace was when their own safety was threatened at the hands of a superior foe they couldn't just ignore.

I'm mildly bummed they didn't get William Sadler back to voice Victor, like he did in New Vegas. (For those who don't know him by name, he was Andy's friend Heywood in Shawshank as well as the villain in Die Hard 2.)

Jeff K.

The cameo by Jon Gries (Uncle Rico) is also a White Lotus reunion; he and Goggins are old friends in real life, and worked together on the latest season of that show and had some huge scenes together, so that was a fun little nod for fans of that show as well.

Re: Macauley's Hair.. Yeah that's what I've been noticing on Fear the Walking Dead.. I was loking at Al(thea), and it's like.. I love how their hair never changes.. Like they have hair stylists in the apocalypse that just keep their hair looking perfect... This is actually the first episode of season 2 that I actually really like. The stuff Lucy gets herself into LOL.

Matthew Glover

to be fair,in the game you can go to a variety of places to have your hair changed and done. though i know its a common thing in movies/tv that they just seem to not care about sometimes,in order to have their actors looking good. Though im surprised they havent mentioned lucy's hair at all, with how long shes been living outside, her hair has barely changed at all. And also, last episode we did see Maximus grooming himself and had a freshly done haircut with a fresh lineup.

Pop n Lock

Also I know a lot of people get annoyed with Lucy's decisions but I kinda like how she just keeps getting distracted by sidequests like you do in the game lol

Alex

I was talking more the Walking Dead universe where it's the apocalypse and you don't have barbers. The vaults and Brotherhood of Steel probably have the ability to get haircuts or cut hair, and even in the wasteland but just in general whenever you have characters and a long passage of time, you'll always see their beard grow but you never see their hair grow. Maybe a little with Rick.. he had long hair eventually but generally I don't think they pay attention to peoples' hair.

Matthew Glover

SO answer asked if Kumail Nanjiani voiced for Fallout games before, and no he hasnt. But he has done alot of other games and shows as well as animated films/shows. He actually did a character in the telltale Walking Dead Series, that you guys played. He played Reggie, who was in season 2. During the time at Carvers base, where the group is being held against their will,Reggie is the guy Carver put in charge of making sure the group doesnt get into any trouble, then he gets thrown off the roof by Carver after Clementine and the other girl dont meet their quota on picking blueberries lol.Maybe you guys remember that

Donna Castellano

The song at the end sounded so familiar because it's by Bill Haley and the Comets. It shares a lot of the same musical sound as their most well known hit, "Rock Around the Clock".

Funny how Quinn talks about wanting to see the makeing of the movie. As it famously was hell to make. It is quite controversial as the technicalities are amazing and even till this day the practical effects are some of the best in cinema. Yet the abuse of the actors and specially of Judy Garland is a really though thing to learn about. There's a great movie "Judy" (Renée Zellweger won the oscar playing Judy) that really shows how she really struggled with trauma and addiction. Leading her to having a very short life. Judy Garland was and will ever be one of the greatest actresses of all time.
