DD: "The last one started a darker tone which I hope we keep up" oh…lol

So Tired

I've been waiting for y'all reaction to this episode.

Nina

There is no video on the uncut just sound

Marie RammGirl

After seeing that screenshot DD posted, I'm REALLY intrigued to see what happens! I can't wait to watch this awesome show with you great guys later! ❤️💚💙

So Tired

I remember when I first watched this episode. I was stunned and didn't know what to say. When Kim Myeong-gil said that he killed the wife, my jaw dropped. Then, when they showed Hong Woo-jin getting stabbed, my heart sank, and I was like, "What the fuck am I watching right now?"

Tya

Here we go! After I watched this episode I legit just stared at a wall for 30 minutes. Nothing to say 🥲 You’ll never forget it though😂

Tania R

This episode is absolutely brutal 😔 — really curious to see how you take this one.

TinaLama

The somber tone after your reaction perfectly captures how we all feel. This episode is seriously messed up. I just hope that when it’s finally the bad guys’ turn, the good guys remember exactly how dirty they played—and pay it back tenfold.

Its go time! The first time I watched this episode I actually fast forward through most of it bc I was honestly not gonna make it through lmao. I had to watch it fully on my second viewing of the series kikiki

gen

Im not gonna lie fellas this episode absolutely ruined the show for me. I think episodes 1-5 are a masterpiece but yeah…. this and the remaining episodes were just not for me. Shame, as the writing in the first five episodes is amazing

patricia jimjimcherie

Gunwoo begging to be allowed to save Woojin's life at the end of this episode gets me EVERY single time. I made my brother watch the show after I finished episode 6. He called me immediately after he finished that episode and said "why?" I said "if I suffer, you suffer with me." lmao

Miki🐭

Same! The second time I watched this series, I skipped this episode cuz I just couldn’t lol and my third time watch with these guys, I lowkey fast forwarded lol😅

LadyReignOfDreams

For your commentary at the end, remember the villain said at the hospital in previous episodes that he ordered two gangs to take Grandpa's crew out and they got everyone EXCEPT our two badasses. Second thing, Diamond Dave is awesome for recognizing the villain's facial expressions, apparently he is know for having an evil smile in the Korean film world, (I watch a lot of the interviews for my fav KDramas). Also idk if you guys caught the younger guy who wanted to help, that was laying on the floor before the sword fight at the restaurant. I thought that was really sad. Lastly I feel this is very realistic and like that it's not the predictable line up story like The Oak said. You guys' facial expressions was spot on, I'm glad I went through these emotions when the show first came out lol. Great reaction guys!

1:09:50 Fun fact about the smile: back when Bloodhounds was blowing up, the official Bloodhounds Instagram account did an "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) where fans could ask questions about the any character, Park Sung- woong who play the main villain, Kim Myeong-gil. One fan asked, "What inspired your signature evil smirk in villain roles?" and he replied, "Whenever my character needs to look extremely evil, I actually think about my son, which makes me smile." I was just gonna say Diamond Dave, The Walking Dead was the only show i could think of at this moment where they did that. 😂

hex1c

Damn, this episode was heartbreaking

Rawaby 1204

The episode that gives you the worst feeling but also gives you the best reactions lol , i was so devastated but i still love the show , although hearing jojo’s crying in this episode kills me every time… *RIP*

Jesse B

Ahh yes episode 6 😭😭😭

Tania R

Watching this with you all, knowing what was coming, I had that sinking feeling in my stomach the entire time. When I first saw this episode, I remember being genuinely stunned by what was unfolding on screen — those scenes were excruciating to witness. The way the senior members of the group were taken out felt especially cruel and heartbreaking, and it really shifted the emotional weight of the series. I still can’t think of many shows where so many of the “good guys” are lost so suddenly and so decisively. The antagonist is phenomenal — the way he conveys intent and menace through expression alone is what makes the performance so effective. Watching your reactions, especially the sheer devastation on your faces, completely mirrored how I felt the first time around. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen DD yell at the screen quite like that before. Brutal episode… but incredibly powerful.

Kayya Rainey

Wait Im so glad someone else thinks this because I definitely got uninterested after this. I wanted to try to watch it again just to see if i was being biased or not😩 but it's something about the last 3 that I wasn't feeling.

gen

It’s the shift in tone for me I can’t say more because I don’t want to give out spoilers but whenever I want to rewatch I usually rewatch episodes 1-5 only lol

Crispy

thats crazy iv been waiting for this episode XD

aureo

wow i remember being completely speechless on my first watch so i definitely relate to your frustration, still a crazy episode no matter how many times you watch it really

Diablos Cafe

Literally, breaks me down down everytime.

Diablos Cafe

I’d love to see you go more in depth in the finale about the tone shift @Gen

Jesse B

Bruh what an answer 😂😂

Marie RammGirl

As soon as we heard that soft Piano music & saw everyone having heartfelt conversations you just felt they were going to break our hearts, the tears sure flowed on this one, the look of total dread before, the intensity during & utter shock/despair on your faces after says it all & that you are completely immersed in the story & as emotionally invested in our characters as we are, DD's comment of if they were setting us up for heartbreak hits even harder now....the whistling of that kettle was the perfect symbology of how truly dire the situation is right now.

ParkMinJeon

Is the uncut gonna be up tomorrow or later tonight ?

ParkMinJeon

Yeah for some reason it kept saying the video was gone a few minutes ago whenever I kept refreshing but it’s there for me now !

Megan

There is no way I buy that Myeong Gil could take out knife guy (I forget his name). I still don't believe that he was able to use thugs to take out the original knife crew yet his henchmen can't even take out two late twenties men who only know how to box. The crew was so feared no one did anything then suddenly they were able to wipe out all but two? And now MG can solo one of those survivors? They're hyping this villain up to the point they're nerfing heavy hitters. And the good guys keep making plot driven errors. No way this group who survived as ghosts would make all the errors that led to their downfall. Especially since episode 4 (I think) they operated on the notion MG and his men would know about the og crew coming for them. I could believe the first surprise attack (though why didn't he barricade her in then go out the window and lead the men away?) but not the second.

Diablos Cafe

Almost every time DD asks for a show to keep it up with the dark tone it just gets darker 😭

Megan

So I was watching this with the guys for the first time (just binged 1-6) and decided to finish the other two early. 7 feels like it was written by a completely new team. I wonder how much the blacklisting of Kim Sae Ron (RIP) messed up the flow. From what I read, she had her stuff filmed and then they opted to just cut everything out. Episode 7 felt like a filler episode with only 5 minutes worth of actual relevance. I enjoyed this episode but it felt like suddenly 90% of the cast wanted out of their contract so they just killed them off out of desperation. No way I buy the villain was able to take out this team that was hyped up from the get go. Maybe the one with the kid (he didn't make the best decisions) but I don't buy he could take on knife guy or that grandpa left himself that unprotected. They took safety too seriously.

Megan

I was hoping he held out. He was even there when grandpa told MG's henchmen how MG operates and they all know he is a liar and has no qualms about killing. I get dude was desperate for even a chance, but he should've given a faux location if he thought he even had a chance to save her.

Age old adage of luring the audience into a false sense of comfort before snatching the hopeful future is a trope that has been done countless times, and is often seen a mile away, and though I was expecting, at best, one of the older crew guys two be either gravelly injured and in the clutches of our villain, and at worst, taken out, I for sure didn't see all three perish, and that too in a rather brutal manner. Bit disappointed as I was expecting our chef to put up a better fight but the initial leg stabs by the blade in the shoe neutralized him quite a bit. I agree with one of the members (Megan) that there does seem a bit of inconsistency with the power level as the show established our younger heroes to be a rank down in terms of skill compared to the older guys yet when cornered by 20 - 30 guys they seem to handle them quite well. I would like there to be a very gruesome, gruelling fight between our heroes and Bane and the final boss. Fav episode so far. It moved the series for me from 'good' to 'really good'. Can't wait to see the final 2 episodes with you guys.

Aria Isara

Ok now I have to watch something else because I don't want to go to bed on such a tragic episode 😭 I need to rinse my brain 😖

Diablos Cafe

You didn’t see Kim train & come highly prepared with an OP weapon? It made perfect sense why he was able to take out the knifer

Diablos Cafe

It made sense why he was able to take out the knifer, he came highly prepared with a OP weapon that you can’t defend against.

Seelia

Ah..I'm back for the red wedding episode of this drama. 😅

Chel

I think our young crew was able to put up a fight because they had space in contrast to our older guy, he was in his kitchen and well he did take down plenty on his own. As for our chef guy, those initial shots to his shins, were a killer for his mobility, that's why soccer players wear shin guards, cause a bad hit and they will be in extreme pain. Our young guy was ambush, adding the fact that he was hungover and that takes a toll on the body. The grandpa did take a few down with his gun, but we knew he wasn't going to do much. if our mc was there, he would have definitely take most of them down. Our girly basically lost two uncles and her grandpa, I don't think they know that the other two guys were killed already.
