Ommmmmg I disliked this movie so bad I almost walked out the theatre 😅 and I LOVE Josh Hutcherson. But I’m not a die-hard FNAF fan with lore knowledge so obvi it’s going to miss for me. But I am so ready to rewatch this with all. The only guys I will rewatch this for.

So glad you guys reacted to the second movie! Been a fan since 2015 and its always fun to see new people being interested by FNAF. Watched the movie 3 times in theatres, so this one’s my 4th ^^” Yes, the lore is kinda confusing (said by Scott Cawthon himself), but the games, books and movies have all different timelines. I understand how weird it must be for people who don’t know the lore. I recommend checking some vids on YT with basic info, even tho, like I said before, most vids are related to the games and they have another timeline. Still have fun and appreciate your reactions as always! Sending lots of love and support from Spain ❤️🫶🏻 Any questions I’m sure the fanbase will be willing to answer! Pd: No, the screens in the movie aren’t from the game. Only the mechanics (like the freddy mask, winding up music box) are from it. Song used for the credits is a fan-made by The Living Tombstone (same for the first one), and the animatronic in the post-credit scene is actually William’s corpse inside the yellow rabbit suit, the color’s a bit greener cuz it has started to rot! He goes by “Springtrap”.

The one part that made me LOL during the movie was when Josh (Mike?) said the door doesn’t close?? Died. Also, this may be a dumb question, but is there a reason why no one reacted normally to the girl in the beginning getting stabbed? Like no one was doing anything!?

As someone who is pretty into the FNAF games and lore, I didn't really like this movie. It felt all over the place. I'm pretty sure people who watched these two movies without any knowledge of the games wouldn't even know that there's a golden version of Freddy because the movies don't explain that well enough. And despite Golden Freddy being portrayed as a Vengeful spirit in the first movie now all of a sudden Charlotte is super Vengeful when that's never been her character in any of the lore? And the Golden Freddy boy gets a cameo where he disappears when the other suits shut down despite his suit not appearing. And for some reason this franchise decided to include the game version of Michael with the movie version so now we have two characters with the same name interacting in the same universe. I really did not like this movie at all

I think nobody reacted to Charlotte being stabbed because they were just in shock. Y’know, they refused to help / listen to her, then they saw the consequences of their actions. Also, about the doors, in the first movie (we don’t see it in use, but happens in the game and you can notice if you look closely) there’s a door on a side of the office. On this movie’s office there’s no doors at all, perhaps that’s why he was surprised. There’s no way to defend yourself, just the mask :)🫶🏻

as a fan of the games, absolutely loved this movie. probably more then the first one even though that one was also great. also since no one else has mentioned it the animatronic seen during vanessas dream is a really important one from the games.

I liked it a lot more than the first, I loved all the little Easter eggs you can find that help tease the plot of the next movie, and its a fun movie in general! They definitely extremely deviated from game lore though and made their own story, adapting the original lore to fit it, which is the main reason I think it turned so many fans off. I agree that the first wasn't very well done, but this one had much better story going on and more happening in general. Totally solid scores imo, I probably would have gone for a 3.5 as well

didnt the animatronics leave the building in the first one though? little over sight maybe?

Want to mention that there is a second post credit scene it’s a audio recording of Skeet Ulrich character telling Mike some important information

JHow

yes and no. only golden freddy was able to leave the place, and he's not really beholden to the same laws as the other four animatronics. you can tell it's a different version by the slightly differently colored fur and the broken eye.

JHow

Not really. Other than the fact that adults in FNAF seem to be kinda ... weird in the first place. I mean, this is the same world were a bunch of children went missing and no one bothered to check the animatronics, when they started to smell like rotting meat, or where apparently no one thought it prudent to stop a bunch of kids, when they picked up another one and held his head into the jaws of one of the animatronics, and where parents still take their children to a pizzeria chain where over a dozen children have been killed in different locations, among a bunch of other tomfudgery you just kind of have to accept for things to "make sense" ^^

JHow

funfact, while they are presented as being older in the movie, the toy animatronics are actual an updated version of the original characters, and, in the game, feature a facial recognition system, that's directly linked to the police's criminal database, most likely to detect and apprehend child predators, as a response to the disappearance of those kids in the original restaurant. another fun fact, matpat, the former host of game theory, and the guy who cameod as ness, the diner attendant, from the first movie, apparently voiced toy bonnie. the more you know...

Anthony Velasquez

Just watched it didnt care too much for it to be honest very rushed like what happened to the paranormal investigator lady after Charlotte possessed someone else is she ok is she dead? Too many plot holes still watch the next one but hoping it gets better because wasnt a fan of this movie and the 1st one

Megan

I liked this one way better than the first. It had more of the game feel to it and a faster pace. The first one felt like it was a 12 hour movie and I couldn't get myself to watch it again with any reactors. This one was still slow, but at least it put in more game elements. But I still hated Vanessa and skipped her scenes. While this was better, I wouldn't watch it again. I'd probably give it a 2.9, maybe a 3. I've never actually played the games, just watched gameplays by the greats and honestly, the games are also boring. The lore is fascinating but if it weren't for the youtubers' commentary as they played, I wouldn't have continued with the games.

Knightmare

Man this would've been great to watch in theaters 😂 Absolutely hilarious. And having spent hundreds of hours watching lore videos it actually scared me a lot to see them in motion even if they weren't all that scary LOL. I can't believe they used that "put the mask on" trick from FNAF. Looked ridiculous in person. So if a kid had on a paper fnaf mask would the animatronics think they were one of him? 🤣

Ryan Holmes

This movie is just as bad as the first one. Imagine ever actually recommending this movie lmao

luca

i’m assuming you’re not a fnaf fan?

luca

watched this movie in theaters with my friends and loved it so much, idc what anyone says. people complain that it’s not “lore accurate” but most things people take as “lore” are just fan theories that have never really been confirmed. it was just such a fun movie

𝙶𝚘𝚕𝚍𝙻𝚒𝚍𝚒𝚊 🏴‍☠️🦇

Perhaps because you haven’t played the games. There’s people who grew up with this, and appreciated every single second of the movie. Even if the script or scenes were a little “weak” or “off” at some points. I know plenty of people who got emotional to see their fave characters in the big screen after 10 years. Scott has made it very far, this was definitely a letter to the fanbase.

I geeked out when Mike (Josh) is in the security office trying to disable the connection. He does a little bit of the actual game play (FNAF 2). The mask, balloon boy sabotage, but to get rid of Foxy you have to flash the light. I would LOVE to see you guys react to the FNAF lore, play the games, or react to someone playing the games (Markiplier is my fave to watch game play throughs of this franchise). The lore is actually insane!! William Afton (Lillard) and Henry Emily (Ulrich) are business partners. Afton’s youngest son gets his head chomped by Freddy because of big bro Michael. Afton loses it forreal, murders charlotte. The puppet was built to babysit charlotte. Afton’s daughter gets snatched by Circus Baby. Michael ends up hosting animatronics in his body after his innards are scooped out. The VR era games possesses and creates a new psycho killer. There ends up being a rock band with Freddy and chica, but foxy and Bonnie are cut/replaced by an alligator and wolf. It gets so crazy, but is so fascinating. I’ve never experienced a game that blew up and then just keeps giving new lore/timelines like this one has. Scott Cawthon started with a random indie horror game and now it’s a whole universe lol.
