Driving Ahead

The mid credits at the dance is footage from season three!

Driving Ahead

It is an undercover mission in the mid credits. They are looking for someone. . .

EPIC FINALE!!! This season truly was a ride. Just incredible. As much as I liked the first season I do think the second is 10xx better it's so good I really loved it a lot, and I cannot wait for season 3 coming sometime this year. I just feel like this show can/will become this generations Harry Potter where it just gets bigger and better and DARKER as the seasons go, and I am here and ready for it 💯🙌

Aprille Morris-Butler

I want to point out something I don't think the guys know: Luke is about 20 here!! That's why he's so much stronger/capable than Percy.

Belly

no spoilers but annabeth and percy are indeed on a mission in the mid credit 😉

Ellie Autumn Gidney

I hope ya’ll able to open on the what you got in the mail to open for the finale of season two.

So far the show has made me appreciate characters a lot more than I did when I read the books. It's also added a lot of depth to characters that I sometimes feel fell a bit flat in the original material. It just makes me that much more excited to delve into S3. Without delving into specifics, my favorite character in the entire series is introduced in the third book. So I can't wait to see them finally onscreen if the show has already boosted my opinion on characters I didn't really care too much about.

Rhanzel

Season 3 will definitely be darker. I cant wait, just give me the italian boy already

Kyla Mae

Loved your reactions, can’t wait to see Season 3 with you this year too! The theories on what’s happening on that dance scene are so funny, can’t wait for you to see what’s up. And yes, the tone will be a lot darker next season. New characters coming that you’ll dam love😉

Lizzie✨

What a great season, sad it’s over but at least the wait for s3 won’t be as long!!

I absolutely love that Rick Riordan changed the ending and went in a different direction, it makes much more sense. In the book and movie (if I remember correctly) Thalia really is turned into a tree by Zeus in a way to save her from the cyclopes attacking them (hence why annabeth seems to hate cylopes). There were no furies, she didn't know about the prophecy. Actually they don't mention that the fleece could bring back Thalia to life, they put on the fleece on the tree go to bed an only the next day find Thalia there and it ends on this big revelation and you only then realize that the prophecy can apply to both percy and Thalia now (this I'm disappointed they didn't keep) This ending makes so much more sense. Zeus is a compelete assh**** with no compassion, sympathy and who only cares about himself. This version they offer is more faithful to the mythology Zeus turned her into a tree because he cannot stand that someone will disobey and disrespect him, and even more so coming from his own daughter. Having his own flesh and blood turn on him makes Zeus look weak and gives the impression that everyone can do so as well But more than that, Thalia was so rebellious regarding her father and the Olympus, there were big chances that the prophecywould be about her. Turning her into a tree was also a way to try to stop it from happening. Also it's insane to me how we witness kids fighting each other while the gods can literally see everything, can intervene and stop all of this within a second but choose not too but well, we have to bear in mind that they have existed for a loooooong time and had plenty of children so at some point lots of gods just dont care anymore Anyways, as a fan of a book I like that we can still be pleasantly surprised but I will say that the books are still a must read. Also I can't believe we are getting season 3 this year 🥳 in the meantime we need the movie's reactions!!!

Honestly, there's things that I liked about this season and things that I didn't. My biggest disappointment however was that we were spoiled about Thalia coming back, I think the plot twist in the books is so much more interesting. In the books, Luke poisoned the tree knowing it would weaken the barrier to make Percy go after the fleece so he could steal it and heal Cronos. The thing is, he also knew that the fleece could bring Thalia back, while the camp didn't. In a way, was a win-win for Cronos because he could manipulate the prophecy either way. In the books, it is a shock when Thalia wakes up and it's so fun. It's literally the last line in the book. However I liked how they changed the reason why she was turned into a tree. It gives more depth to the character. Season tree will cover my favorite book for the series. Hope the series will continue to get better and better.

As someone who's read the books ages ago and keeps rereading them I'm still so happy we got this adaptation. Not everything is exactly as it is in the books but I honestly think that's a good thing, there's always something new and unexpected happening even for those who know the story by heart already! Also since I watched those movies in theatres back when they came out, I'm just so glad we get an adaptation that's real, staying true to it all and not turning it into some teenie romance twilight story. I mean I think you probably are going to watch the movies at some point and they can be enjoyable to some extent but it was just extremely disappointing to see the story get mushed. Now since the Titans Curse will be shown on screens for the first time ever, it will be even more interesting to see how close to the books they'll stay. I can already promise you there will be new characters you will like a lot for sure and a lot of unexpected twists. And to see you guys discuss the slow dance scene was so funny since I know exactly what it was and at least one of you was kinda right but I'm not gonna say who it was. And one other thing I always wanted to comment on but never really did, every single time I see or hear your channel name my mind plays Bad Medicine by Bon Jovi, is that a coincidence or on purpose? :D

slavicandsapphic

According to Walker, its the closest to the book out of the three seasons so far. Im not prepared bro 😭

Eboe Thrasher

I just love how Luke's actor is totally the Temu Joseph Gordon-Levitt. They should appear in a movie where he plays a younger version of him.

harmony

Maybe you shouldn't be calling anyone a temu version of someone. Why can't you compare the two actors like a normal person.

rottedvein

giving s2 an overall 8.5/10, i think if the line deliveries just didnt fall so flat sometimes this wouldve been an outstanding season. ive got super high hopes now for s3

rottedvein

i honestly think you guys have got to watch the movies now. theyre so entertaining as stand alone movies

rottedvein

even if luke didnt know that the fleece would release thalia, its still present within all of percys dreams in the book. its all foreshadowed

rottedvein

but they have GOT to let go of the eight episode standard! even though the first two books are lighter in lore and darkness, it still feels unfinished and rushed. at least 16 imo is gonna be needed for s3-4, and maybe even longer in s5!

Meat

The gasp I let out at the dance part. Titans curse(season 3s book) was my favorite as a kid I am so incredibly hyped

Jenna

I love getting to watch this with you guys! I know a lot of the reviews for Season 2 are mixed, but as a book-fan, I personally loved it. I understand why some people would have issue with some of the show stuff, but overall, I had a really great time watching this season. Book 3 is a beloved favorite for many fans, so I can't wait for it!
