How did people feel about the swerve at the end? Personally I didnt care for it I feel like I could have accepted the Swerve being Anna as the one but I didn’t like the Mom being the killer she was such a minor character in the show to give such a big story plot to at the end

Shannon

I didn’t mind it, I thought it was a fun twist! But I think that’s because of the type of show it was.. what I like to call a ‘trashy thriller’ 😂 which has lots of OTT / far fetched storylines, but is a fun ride. If it was a 100% serious thriller then I would have found the twist a bit meh

So Tired

Besides the big, crazy twist that I didn’t see coming, what really threw me off at 18:41 was that, before Zoe was killed, she had the audacity to say that what happened to Anna "wasn’t that bad." Then she tried to warn her brother that Anna isn’t who he thinks she is. But I guess, from her perspective, it makes sense that she would think Anna is the killer because of what happened. Then, seeing that video of Zoe sitting there chanting "Happy Birthday," it’s clear she wasn't as innocent as she tried to make herself out to be. She was right there with the other two.

So Tired

At 4:22 To be clear, Richard never said anything about bad reception. He was talking about there won't be any available cars because of how far there are and that it's night time.

So Tired

I actually enjoyed the twist because I didn't expect it to be her at all. Sorry if this is to much. The story is structured as a classic thriller with multiple red herrings. Early on, you are meant to suspect Anna, then Jack, then Lexy or Catherine. Lexy's reveal feels like the answer at first, and the confrontation is intentionally staged to make you think the mystery is solved. That would have been a typical and obvious choice that everyone would have thought of because it just makes sense. But that is deliberate misdirection. The truth only becomes clear after the letter, which reframes everything that came before it. Anna's mother did seems like a minor character, but she wasn't. She was always present in the background, just overlooked because the audience and the characters dismissed her as harmless. That is the point. We were meant to be blinded by our own assumptions. Who would suspect an elderly woman. Even the narration supports this. The opening voiceovers are Anna reading her mother's letter. On rewatch, it becomes clear the show was telling us the truth the whole time, just quietly. The twist is not random. It is designed to make sense after the reveal, not before.

Definitely an ending that had me crying and gasping at the tv 😆😆😭

I thought this plot twist was done really well because of course the mom would find that tape after her daughter went missing and they left enough little clues throughout like how she only goes on her night walks on nights when someone's killed - It was unexpected but I feel like they laid enough groundwork for it to be justified. Where I hate a plot twist is when it comes out of left field and you're like "What, that makes no sense, there were no hints at this whatsoever" - there was a show I watched on Netflix recently where a girl runs away from home with her boyfriend and her family haven't seen her for months but then the big plot twist is that the boyfriend is actually her brother and the mom knew the whole time but there was absolutely no groundwork laid for that reveal so I was just there like "Huh?"

44:16 When it comes to Lexy and Richard, it looks like they was both planning on killing Anna. Remember, Richard was buying all of those items that looks like what a killer would buy. When it comes to the condoms, he only bought them in front of Jack just to show off.

Mister Lou

The ending made it 10x better than anything in an already great show!

Kyle

Show was alright for me not bad or great. I dont regret watching it at all, did find it kinda sick at the end thinking how she is talking playing with the little girl knowing she killed her mom but whatever.

Shanice British

I think it goes to show that Zoey is still the psychopath that she was as a teenager. No self awareness nothing. It also adds to how Helen was also. To get Anna raped as a teenager and still be able to talk smack about her and drag her dead child into your argument with her shows that these ladies are still the awful human beings that they were as teenagers. I love tha part of the writing to be honest because it’s showing that some people don’t change. The same sick girls who sang happy birthday to someone who was being rap*d just got older in age that’s it. They didn’t grow and gain wisdom. They grew up and got even more terrible than they were as kids and that’s real life for a lot of people sadly

The twist at the end made this a great show for me

Aubrey

I realize that I'm in the minority, but this show was not it for me.

Ren

If you like these kind of shows you should check out the mini series based on Harlan cobens books, they're all 6-8 episodes and all really good!

Esmi

Thanks for watching this show! It was a rewatch for me, so this time I could pick up on subtle clues as to who the killer was. I loved your post reaction discussions after each episode & especially Oak putting on his detective cap. 🕵️‍♂️ I had a blast watching this along with you all & that twist at the end 🤯. I agree with MQ, I appreciate when I can watch a show that puts in the work to reveal a twist that had the groundwork laid for it since ep. 1. I remember when I first watched the episode when Anna is visiting her mom’s house for the first time and the keyring just fell & I thought, “huh, that’s interesting 🧐, wonder why they did that?” well now I know why 😆.

Shanice British

So good. Love the show so much because I’m on the mom’s side. For Anna to be able to walk around with that trauma for years without telling a soul breaks my heart because that’s what happens irl. There’s a lot of shame that comes with being assaulted like that and because of something so horrific that happened to you it changes you. It showed why Anna didn’t give a crap when Rachel died. Something like that makes you cold and in her case rightfully so. I’ll never forget about a case in jamaica where I’m from where a girl came to jamaica from visit New York to visit her family and she went out with her cousin and was rap*d and killed by her cousin’s boyfriend and his friend. Her cousin set her up but didn’t think she’d be killed and rap*d also and she was. Her boyfriend and his friend didn’t want there to be any witnesses so they killed her along with the cousin she set up. I’ll never understand women who set other women up to be assaulted. Sorry for grossing yall out but this show made me think of that case when I was watching it even though Anna wasn’t killed. Just goes to shows you that we live amongst some of the cruelest people. Anywhoo great reaction y’all 🤍

Cristy

I didn't either which was a shame 'cause I wanted to like it so much. The final twist was just so implausible, to me anyway. I also had so many unanswered questions which I've heard get answered in the book but I shouldn't have to read the book to understand the show.

fatoumata cisse

I was entertained but the final twist felt so far fetched. And it just felt like a bad soap opera.

Hey how do you make your profile picture move?

So Tired

So when it comes to Patreon profile picture size, 1024px by 1024px is recommended. You can upload GIFs, but they have to be the correct size. I use an app called Adobe Express, which allows you to customize sizes and create profile pictures. First, find a GIF or a video you want to turn into a GIF. I recommend Pinterest. Then open the Adobe Express app and press the blue and white plus icon in the middle of the screen. Scroll down until you see Suggested sizes, and under that, tap Custom size. For both width and height, enter 1024 and make sure the unit is set to px, then create it. Once it’s created, press the same blue and white plus icon again and choose Upload from device. Upload the video you downloaded. You’ll know it fits when the entire box is filled. If the video is too small, you can resize it or choose a different one. When you’re done, press the play icon to preview it. Then tap the upload icon in the top right corner, change the file format to GIF (Best for animations), upload it, and you’re done.

You got to watch All Her Fault!

Katie

I thought it was perfect. No one really suspects her at all. And it shows just how strong a mother’s love is!

Rawaby 1204

I likes the show and loved the ending, I don’t think it was far fetched, the mother was healthy and the detective was busy covering his own trails , but i am glad the oak mentioned the one thing that i was upset about which is the men who did that to her , they should be on the list..

Lauren

MAN! That is wild!

Enn Emm

Personally, I just think the booze & lying to herself were the only ways she could cope with what happened. Looking at how her life turned out, it’s pretty clear she’s very weak willed & people like that will throw others under the bus to avoid being the target. Whenever there’s a friendship dynamic like this, there’s always the queen bee, the second in command, & the follower.

Enn Emm

It also explains why mama didn’t want to go to the doctor to get checked out.

Enn Emm

I thought it was implied that they were going to kill her as an offensive strategy. Seeing as they didn’t kill the others, Cat/Lexy would’ve believed Anna was the killer & she was next & would want to take out Anna before Anna could take her out.

Enn Emm

I didn’t feel bad for Zoe at all. Even if she didn’t do what she did to Anna, she was an abusive drunk the entire show.
