WHOA! I JUST FINISHED 7!! WHAT A DAy

Miss Freaky

Kind sirs, thank you for releasing Episode 8!! Hope you enjoy!! :)

𝙶𝚘𝚕𝚍𝙻𝚒𝚍𝚒𝚊 🏴‍☠️🦇

I’m super grateful you guys also gave us episode 8! The One Piece timeline may seem a bit confusing but everything eventually comes back in its own way, even some characters that you thought were secondary may have an important role in the future. Also, If you thought Chopper’s backstory was sad? That’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to backstories! Pd: About season 3, production started as soon as season 2 was done. We may be getting it from mid to late 2027, so forget about waiting another 3 years 😭

Florian Kuche

I'm still hoping for you to start the Anime someday. Maybe when the remake will come out?

Ginger

Lot of info drops at the end of this episode, the biggest being “the Will of D.” Like most things, they dropped that term earlier than its first mention in the anime. I am glad that they finally revealed that his real name is Gol D Roger, not Gold Roger. Also nice that they revealed Nico Robin’s real name as well.

ias

Do you guys remember who else had a canceled bounty? Mihawk. Wink wink.

YUNO

What a fun ride! One piece Season 2-3 were shot back to back. So we will expect it to come next year! 2027

Kyle

Not only was nico robins bounty 79M but as you seen her picture she is a kid.

Kyle

Oh man prolly have to keep dreaming doubtful something that long will be done in the recommendations supernatural is really high up but to think they will ever get to it doing 2 episodes a week would still take like 3 years.

dredre8424

Definitely a huge one answer

They plucked at our heartstrings over Chopper/Hiriluk last eps, now they pulling at them again with Sanji's backstory. Your reactions to Chopper joining the crew was so Heartwarminly wholesome, Kureha (Doctorine) making it easier for him so he don't feel guilty about leaving, but deep down she's gonna miss him & proud of what his become. Visually beautiful scene with the Cherry Blossoms (melody playing there kinda sounded like 'Paint it Black') & yep we are looking forward to your reactions about Chopper's 'Secret' there aswell as to our new Villain with Crocodile. (Also really hope someday we get a 'True Blood' reaction too) 🙏

In many cases, I am opposed to these "live action remakes" on principle, as—to me—it feels like they stem from a fundamental disdain for animation as a medium "for kids" that somehow needs an "updated" "adult" version with real actors to have real value. But the live action of One Piece breaks that mould by being not only a clear labour of love and a celebration of the source material, but also manages to repackage the original story with enough twists and turns that it becomes the fabled "seeing your favs again as if for the first time" that many fans have surely fantasised about. Loved the season finale. The village battle was actually 99% live action original. In the manga, I don't think Zoro and Usopp have even anything to do during the Drum Kingdom climax. Although Wapol uses his power to "fuse" two people in the manga, it's far more comedic and less... rejects from a FromSoftware game. I'm also glad Tashigi got her small badass moment against Mr. 11, and I hope the Live Action lets her shine a little in Alabasta, because she's one character that the source material criminally sidelines a lot of time (at least when it comes to letting her be badass... or fight at all). I won't say it's a perfect 10/10 adaptation. Like I said before, I'm not a complete fan of Kureha. I think they nail her character best during her short appearance in the village fight, but otherwise she feels—to me—a little off mark. And I have other nitpicks. But, overal, especially for adapting something so impossible as One Piece, it's better than I think anyone ever hoped for. So I'm willing to watch a dozen seasons of it if they want to keep going. I don't care if the actors age up past their manga counterparts. Just say the journey is taking time. Anyway, loved it.

Sun God Nika coming soon!

So, apparently the disease Hiriluk was hoping to cure was depression. So he tried to developed a "cure" that can fill those observing it with unbridled joy and hope, to reignite the spark in their hearts. It kind of gets lost on most people, since Hiriluk refers to it as "a deadly disease" and most people don't really immediately connect that to depression, but it's not really an untrue statement. Especially in a world like One Piece, were chasing your dreams does have a actual effects on both your body and mind.

H. AW

guys, why not watch the anime while waiting for season 3 =P

mdl

The writer's strike really messed things up because they didn't start production for season 2 until the second half of 2024 if I remember correctly. This time they took care of that logistically and season 3 should be wrapping up soon, so hopefully end of 2027/early 2028 if we're lucky. With Manganiello as Crocodile, it's gonna be fun.

Brooksie

Hope you guys really should watch the anime. Even if it's only a few arcs

Star Akhom

Really happy yall finish season 2 of live action! It would be really cool for you guys to watch the anime but idk what other peoples opinions or y’all’s opinions on watching a long series. BUT I think it be really cool and different if y’all at least watch 84-86 of the One Piece anime series that adapted episode 2x7 of this season! It would be really cool to see you guys compared the live action to the anime and see all the similarities and differences. Not only that, but maybe it’ll entice you guys to start the anime! Just a suggestion🫡

Kevin Zapata

the bounty canceled is a reference to Mihawk from the first season who's bounty was also introduced as canceled for being a Warlord of the Sea, who are in kahoots with the Marines. They probably should've made it more clear since it had been long but that's what it was meant to represent.

Kevin Zapata

tbh I think they're better off waiting for the Wit remake. At 2 episodes a week unless they switch it up would take nearly 10 years to complete, doubt it's something they wanna commit to especially with it's bad pacing issues

Yuuza01

The Will of D. was mentioned by Kureha in the anime same scene with Dalton

TrePerk

if you guys dont plan on reacting to the anime you should at least react to a comparison video so you get an idea of what they are adapting from the manga/anime.

Andrew

the crazy thing is even up to this point in the story, its only the very beginning. the manga and anime, the world has gotten so big and amazing, really recommend watching the anime think you guys will enjoy it

Zara❤️

Drum island was renamed Sakura (cherry blossom ) kingdom after luffy saved them in the anime 🥺❤️ Also the second story arc in manga ended with alabasta but they couldn’t fit it in to 8 episodes so cut it in half with choppers story being the season 2 ending

Flubbedsquid

The guys saying "I wish we got more Dragon" Oh boy Fellas Lemme tell you something

Colleen Scott

As others have said, the anime is great! I love it! I love it so much, one of my tattoos is a character from One Piece. But you guys should not react to it. You should wait for the remake coming in 2027. It will cut out filler and arcs aren’t hundreds of episodes. I’ve seen you guys get frustrated when a fight gets continued to the next episode. One Piece anime would kill you! 😂 Fights and storylines are stretched to a ridiculous amount of episodes. That being said, I would still recommend it on your own time. It is a great world to get into!

BigMajor

If you guys start the anime, I will personally send you guys $4 per episode you watch. $1 for each of you. Over 1000 episodes? You do the math. And I can tell you...it's worth the investment. In all seriousness, if you love the show up until this point, you will only love it more as it goes on

Carbon

I feel like her talking about Chopper in the previous episode too was her trying to set him up with the strawhats because she knows it will fulfill his dreams and also maybe she thinks he’ll be in good hands with these people.

Maria

it’s such a good anime. I *just* caught up (after a long time of slow watching) and it’s crazy how i’m ready for more! they would really love it and tbh the dub is really great, if they would want to watch it that way to get through it easier.

BigMajor

Agreed. For a marathon anime, dub would be the way to go. Sure you can talk the voice acting and I get that. But at the end of the day it's about the best way you personally you can enjoy a show. You want people to watch to experience the story? Let people experience it in the way it's best for them

Wonderxfull

Very true, I agree! If they decide to watch it, which would be awesome, it would be best to wait for 'The One Piece'.

Cameron Hilario

Love the disbelief and the pop you guys had when you find out Chopper's joining!

Sailingcats420

Wish yall were more curious about crocodile, that was a huge cliff hanger to the end of the season and yall didn't even say his name in discussion or ask why his bounty is canceled. Also to the guy wanting more dragon or smoker, the show is about the straw hats, your already getting alot more time with smoker than you would in the anime, not even going to say anything about dragon, but you guys gotta remember this anime is 1155 episodes so far, some characters come in for a few episodes and then you might not seen them till hundreds of episodes later, why the world building is amazing in one piece, there are alot of characters who are mysterious and the fact that you don't know their whole story is what makes it intriguing. One piece is very different compared to most stories and let alone TV shows, its not going to give you what you expect because one piece is all about the unexpected, you gotta stop thinking about this as a TV show and more so as a journey threw an entire world of its own.

Marcos Contreras

In case you guys may have forgotten, the "Bounty Cancelled" means Crocodile is one of the 7 Warlords of the Sea, like Mihawk. He's gonna be one tough SOB.

Tysurge

Lmao even if you wanted to say something you wouldn’t be able to

Tysurge

Maybe not the anime but if there’s one thing I recommend reacting to it’s the YouTube video Breathtaking World of One Piece. It shows you how vast and insane this world is without spoiling things and gets you excited about what’s to come

Ori Deki

shanks and luffy mysterious power will suprise you guys
