Lol, in the uk calling something ‘peak’ is like saying it’s bad/unfortunate

This is already a lot so I understand if it can't happen but the trailer for the new Hunger Games movie just dropped today so I was hoping y'all would react to it.

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

Wnadly-- if you can post this in the chat room, we can post images and directions to help you upvote it.

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

Not everything they watch will have been on a poll - polls are just one of the methods they choose what to watch

ParkMinJeon

I liked when you dropped Bloodhounds on Friday with Attorney Woo since they’re both Kdrama’s 👀

roxie c

seated for bee movie! (and bridgerton)

Amanda Hayward

I may have missed an update somewhere, is Bridgerton going to be a Patreon exclusive or will it end up on YouTube soon too? And is Heated Rivalry continuing??

Marie RammGirl

Looking forward to everything this week, except Bee Movie lol 🫣 have a great week yourselves Best Badd Medicine ❤️💚💙

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

They finished Heated Rivalry, and everything they do on Patreon will come to YouTube eventually 😃

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

You might post this in the general chat with a link to the trailer for more visibility and interaction!

Boris Kopp

Can't wait for Tropic Thunder. No matter how often I see it. It's always so funny. Les Grossman deserved it's own movie btw.

keyt

2 episode of Bridgerton this week!!! Yey! We're getting closer to season 4 😂

Shayna Toso

Yass we are so lucky for these Lords 😭✨️

Money-Kate Olsen

Technically, everything will come to Youtube, but I have no hope that Howl's Moving Castle won't end up like Spirited Away.

Tarini

Can your next indian movie be Gehraiyaan. It is an underrated gem

I'm Batman

Let's go, Tropic Thunder. One of my favorite comedies ever.

Tarini

Hope you watch some popular indian movies recommended on your website as well. Youtube don't be recommending the best stuff

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

Wnadly-- I found the problem. There are two recommendations for "When Life Gives You Tangerines" and one of them is a "Wasted" recommendation, meaning it was the second recommendation submitted so it was a "wasted" rec, and those can't be upvoted. Searching recommendations for "When Life Gives You Tangerines" *only brings up the wasted one*. The problem is that the person who made the good rec titled it "Life Gives You Tangerines," so searching for "WHEN Life Gives You Tangerines" won't bring it up. Go to Recommendations and search for "tangerines" (no quotes) and both recommendations will come up. You can upvote the live recommendation. Hope this helps!

Lord W.

Should be fixed now 🤘

duui

WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYINGGG 😭

Alexandra

OMG? TWO BRIDGERTON EPISODES?? IS IT CHRISTMAS??

pk04

3 demons slayer episodes?! Does that mean we're getting the 3 final episodes next week as well

nessa

WOOOO DEMON SLAYERRRRRR

Aria Isara

Ratchasan has been recommended here and there on Patreon, I haven't seen it but the movie has gotten very good reviews everywhere and it's definitely a popular movie.

Amaia

No way…is Bridgerton going to be 2 episodes every week?! I was hoping for that but didn’t expect it. The show is so good it’s hard to watch only one. Thank you!!

Maisie

Saving my fave movies for the end of the month I see. 😂 Really looking forward to Ratsasan though, it has really good reviews!

Eboe Thrasher

Have you voted for it on their website? That's how you make things happen, my friend.

Tarini

Aria it's not about the movie. It is that I have noticed for quite some time that they are not watching the popular recs on the website, and picking somewhat randomly or according to youtube

Tarini

they pick somewhat randomly regardless of votes on the website. Hence wanted them to see this was something some of us are interested in

Lauren

Somebody convince me to watch Game of Thrones….the idea of children and animals getting hurt has kept me from watching the show. But I know I’m missing out.

Teri M

I think you'll need to remind yourself during those times that it's not real, and move on. It's worth the watch.

Amaia

I’ve tried watching the first episode many times but am too bored and disturbed to finish it. I usually don’t like old period pieces that revolve around war/violence. I prefer more of a drama/romance focus for those shows even if there are intense parts. I know it’s really popular but it’s just not for me. Too much assault and graphic scenes.

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

I've tried to watch it and failed. Right now I'm trying to watch along with the guys - what's helping me is I have a few friends I can have a running commentary with where I can ask questions and also complain about everything I don't like. Makes it a bit more enjoyable 😂 but honestly just because something is well loved and critically acclaimed doesn't mean you're going to like it. I'm well aware of how high the quality is for the acting, writing, production values, etc., and I still don't care for it. "It's good" and "I like it" don't always go hand in hand.

ZuZu

I read the first book while I was nine months pregnant, so I was particularly sensitive to bad things happening to children. That was enough for me to never read any of the other books or ever watch a single episode of the show. I know people love it, but trauma porn is not my thing. I'm okay with missing out on something I probably wouldn't love.

Amaia

@Charity, so true. I personally feel like it's overrated and don't get the hype, but everyone's entitled to their opinions. It's just not my scene since I don't love most action and war stuff. Other people have also talked about how the amount of nudity and sexual scenes weren't necessary at all and objectify women. I can see how men would like this type of show more though, lol

Tyah Reacts

Closer to Queen Charlotte as well 😝

Lock_Down

Ratchasan 🔥🔥🔥

Lucero

Guys!! The new trailer for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on The Reaping JUST came out TODAY!! You should react to it, lysmmm

Nathan Steele

Its true, the show is extremely violent (including towards women, children and animals at times), has gratuitous female nudity (especially in the early seasons) and the language is hard R. I'm not gonna sugar coat any of that. Its at least as bad as you can imagine (probably worse). BUT, there was also a reason it was arguably the most popular media property in the world for a period. The world stopped every Sunday night during the seasons. There has really never been anything like it. At its peak, the show really was considered that good and was that beloved. Its sort of how people that didn't read books still loved Harry Potter. I had friends who had never even read an article about a TV show before in their lives, listening to podcasts about every episode and watching breakdowns on YouTube. For years it felt like every get together with friends would inevitably turn into a gush session about what we thought was gonna happen next. Even when the show wasnt even currently airing. Now all that doesnt mean you will like it, or that the show was even perfect (what is?). Maybe space out watching the episodes, like say one a week (like how it aired originally). That might help relieve the stress of the violence and stuff.

L

TWO!!!?? Bridgerton Episodes!!!

Amanda Diaz

2 Bridgerton Episodes!!! Yasss!! =) Getting closer & closer to Season 3!!!

PokeTheBear

Did they confirm its gonna be JJK? Was hoping for My Hero

Grant

Well the poll won with JJK. I had assumed. To be honest, it would behoove them to go with MHA if it absolutely must be sub (although I like the dub for MHA). I just cannot see the group getting through JJK in sub. It's a mess. And confusing.

PokeTheBear

I really wish they'd just watch both on different days

Wnadly~~

Thanks for the answer and especially explaining Wasted. I just invited it.

autumn

Can’t wait for queen charlotte

autumn

What time do they release Bridgerton

Bri

Eee!! Love that we're getting two episodes of Bridgerton again this week! If we stick with 2 we'll finish 1 season every month! Each season is 8 episodes except Queen Charlotte is 6.

Tyah Reacts

Could be anytime between now and like 2pm, But for the most part they do all they’re uploading pretty early. Which is amazing because I hate waiting till nighttime for a drop 😂

autumn

Thankkk youuuu im so ready because season 2 is my favorite

Knightmare

I'm so glad you guys came to your senses on the Bridgerton watch and started doing 2 eps/week. I was actually suffering

Alexandra

On the edge of my seat waiting for Bridgertoooon 🐝

Genna

I’ve been waiting out for it too! Hopefully in the next hour or so

Ryan Holmes

Wednesday might be the best day of releases we've ever seen

Stephen Hert

Tropic Thunder will have our boys in stitches!! It's hilarious!

Andrew

Bloodhounds pls

Aria Isara

Nope, DD has explained that they alternate between the most upvoted ones on the website and other recs. For exemple in November they picked TJMM which only had 11 upvotes on the website so situated around the middle of the list of recs. Then in Dec and Jan back to back they picked Rocky Aur Rani (most upvoted at the time) and Dangal (one of the most upvoted ones), so they are def watching the popular recs. Then in Feb they picked Dhurandhar because of all the buzz. Also a popular one. Then they picked something with fewer likes in March but that had been recommended for a long time. DD does the same for western picks. Alternating means we still get an element of surprise as opposed to just going down the list in order of upvotes, and it also gives a chance to stuff with fewer upvotes that would never get a chance to be featured otherwise. Also, DD tries to keep things varied, so far they hadn't seen an Indian horror movie (the March pick) or a serial killer movie (the April pick). DD might also be checking the language. We had 3 Telugu movies in 2025 but no Tamil one. So after a string of Hindi movies and over 2 years without a Tamil one it makes sense to pick something like Ratchasan. (DD is definitely not picking randomly, he checks the trailers and ratings before picking something)

Aria Isara

I hope it lives up to the expectations. I don't care much for the serial killer genre so I've never watched it despite all the great reviews 😅

Aria Isara

I hate scenes with animals getting hurt and apart from a scene with a horse meeting a violent but quick death in season one and 2 things in the last 2 seasons, on top of my head I don't remember anything else. I've literally stopped watching shows I loved for including gratuitous "comedy scenes" about animals getting killed (such scenes are a big pet peeve of mine) and still I watched GOT fully. So there shouldn't be a problem for you there. And most of the violence is against adults. Again I'm someone who dislikes gore, torture porn and all that stuff. I would say apart from a few scenes in season 5 (I think it was 5) that were testing my limits a little bit, I had no issue with the show. My main issue with it was the gratuitous female nudity, scenes that were not in or were different in the books (I had no issue with the books). It was nothing but a cheap attempt by the sh!tty showrunners to attract male viewers. Disturbingly they even turned 1 or 2 consensual books scenes into non consensual ones 😑 That being said the early seasons when the showrunners were still closely following the books are a masterpiece in terms of acting, layered plot, world building and character psychology.

Aria Isara

Amaia: I remember watching the first ep and being half asleep all throughout then being jolted awake by the last 2 min and then immediately watching ep 2 and loving it. Ep 1 is mostly presentation and world building and can be a bit tedious. But the whole season is a masterpiece. The show has violence but it's really not the core element. It's all about the political intrigue and character evolution. The characters are fascinating. Many episodes feature barely any physical action, only interesting dialogues. Personally I love the books/show (minus the last 2 seasons) because the characters are complex and their evolution so interesting. Some characters you hate at first might reveal something completely different later on and take a turn. Some others might take a turn for the worse. It's a very character driven story, not an action driven one.

Tarini

Hope he doesn't go by imdb ratings especially hindi romance and drama genres are unfairly hated on by many, while the guys and many of us here really enjoy those genres. And TJMM was a good pick and they all gave it 5's while youtube was hating on it 🤦‍♀️So I hope that doesn't make them shy away from choosing such genres. And it is rare for romcoms to be picked by them as we see that many of the top voted are of that genre, but the channel has not watched more than 4 hindi romance films
