Crazy episode unless something drastic happens this might end with Homelander coming out on top honestly how are The Boys going to stop Homelander now? These last two episodes are going to be crazy Also want to say seen alot of people saying the way they are writing Sage character is dumb I disagree sure she is the smartest person in the world but she had no reason not to trust Solider Boy because up to the point of the end of this episode it was known to everyone at Vought that Solider Boy hated his son so Sage being stunned by his decision of course caught her off guard

That fight scene in the old folks home was hilarious. I'm surprised there wasn't a stronger reaction to the I don't even know what I would call him. When it comes to Soldier Boy I'm just like THE DEAN VOICE! Whenever he gets mad at anyone in this show his voice is 100% Dean Winchester. I saw a video yesterday that the voice comes out sometimes at home and his wife's like "Stop with the Dean voice." lol

Great reactions of yours to "Loose Lips" line hehe, wow what a big reveal over Kimiko's/Annie thought process with V1, yea when ya consider the flip side of the coin, the benefits don't sound as appealing, as the saying goes "love is blind" (in Hughie/Frenchie case anyways). Great scene of dialogue between 'The Legend'/Homelander, he talked to him so calmly & ya could tell by Homelander's facial expression those words had an effect on him. Who else watching had the same shocked look as our BM guys did over what Soldier Boy did at the end there?! it seems pretty hopeless for our team now, gonna be fun watching what happens in the pentultimate episode! & agree how the hell has Deep survived THIS long?.

The writing has been so poor this season. It hasn't been good since season 1. But this season is just.... wow. Soldier Boy heel turn makes no sense.

I'm wondering if this is going to be a story where our intrepid heroes can't pull it off and the bad guy wins? That would kinda fit with the darker themes in the source material.

Soldier boy has always been able to neutralize supes power. One of the first things you know about him and why they found him in russia. There was a season long arc with kimiko without power because of it.

I'm 100% certain this is still apart of sage's plan because 2 things one bashley told her solider boy is proud and kinda likes homelander and 2 when we were first introduce to sage they showed her powers and one of them was empathic accuracy so she does understand emotions so im pretty sure this is all apart of her plan

I feel the need to watch the rest of the episodes to see how it ends. It's been what... 7 years now? I gotta see how the writers are planning to "end" this.

She looks surprised to the camera/audience, though. It doesn't seem like she is acting towards The Boys. I feel like it would be pretty cheap to show her as "it was the plan all along" when she looks visibly disturbed that V1 was given to Homelander. She would be acting to the audience/breaking the 4th wall.

maybe she's just trying to play super dumb bc her plan is still to hide in her bunker and let everyone die. You could be right I just feel like that would be sloppy writing bc shes supposed to be the smartest person in the world

We’ve already known since season 3 that Soldier Boy could use his chest beam to fry the V out of someone. Also, this was a really good episode. I really enjoyed the theme of time and not wanting to live forever. And I already like Bombsight from the 15 mins he got here. So I’m looking forward to seeing him again in Vought Rising.

Tbh, I think that's how it's gonna go. I'm always looking at the picture on the screen behind our guys - Homelander in space, looking down on earth being on fire. Maybe that's the final scene.

It's not that shocking that Deep killed this Noir, he didn't have the same hand to hand combat ability like the first Noir had. I am a bit surprised he didn't try to fly to escape from Deep though. You guys do bring up a good point on who could be the one to defeat Homelander and it'd be Marie, or Soldier Boy uses his blast to strip Homelander of his powers and someone kills him. I don't see Homelander winning though, I think by the end he will die. Don't know how but that's just what I think.

how does it make no sense? he has no one. firecracker told him that homelander genuinely looks up to him and that changed his view on things. not to mention they saved each other. the only reason he tried to kill homelander/hated him in the first place was bc he was told to by other people
