Is DD okay there? He doesn't have a hat. What kinda frikkin bizarro world is this? 🥺😇☝️

Liam

This makes me want you guys to watch the movie You Were Never Really Here

Kickinthescience

“When you pray for rain you gotta deal with the mud too.” Denzel will always give you quotables in his movies

Kickinthescience

These guys need to see Man on Fire with Denzel. One of his classics

Raquelly Reacts

Wooo lets go I’m excited to see this later I saw this for the first time not that long ago and all I could think was this is adult home alone! that would not leave my mind 🤣 His stoic expression had me laughing the entire movie lmao

MadBone127

Thanks for the reaction. I enjoyed it. The Russian dialogue does have subtitles - not sure why your version didn't but unfortunately it meant quite a bit of missed dialogue. Maybe something to look into the for the other movies as they also have foreign language dialogue.

John Fellios

One of my favorite action trilogies! Lets GOOOO!

Artem Dmytrenko

I like this kind of movies. Hope we also watch Man on Fire and after that maybe Taken franchise with Liam, and Jack Reacher with Tom Cruise 🤞

Jayson Phillips

these movies are great! They get better each movie

Crispy

we need more movies like this getting reacted to lol

Megan

I was late to the game for this movie, didn't even know about it until trailers for 2 came out, and then started this series. This movie is a bit on the slower side so I usually skip to 30 minutes in, on rewatches. I absolutely love the final fight scene/song and Marton Csokas (villain) is one of my favorite actors plus he plays excellent bad guys. And of course Denzel! Love him and don't know how I missed this movie when it came out! It's funny Answer doesn't associate Denzel as an action star when that's what I know him as. Safe House, Book of Eli, this series, and it's been a while but I believe Man on Fire and Deja Vu.

Maisie

Does this mean Answer hasn't seen Man on Fire???

rebecca

Will the other two come right after this one or will they be put in another week schedule?

hex1c

I got a mere shock! DD has not hat? And a really awesome haircut? What timeline is this?

Gambit3838

Hell going back to '95 with Virtuosity, 1 of my all-time favorite movies, he was doing action and whooping ass.

Gambit3838

I doubt you guys are aware of this when talking about all the stereotypes and tropes that this is a re-imagining of an 80s TV SHOW by the same name. It had 88 episodes and our boy WILLIAM ZABKA was even in 12 of them as his recurring son. Hence the way the story went. 🤷‍♂️

Gabby

My dad was obsessed with these movies he thought he was Denzel like shit lmao

Kyle

The money and bus ticket was from robert the 9800 he tried to pay them for her freedom in the begginning he gave it to her to start new life.

Annie519

I'm still waiting for them to watch Remember The Titans. That's my favorite Denzel movie.

dandelions2

we finally get a Denzel movie!

ShaniaBADDIE4LIFE🤘🐶🐱✨

I don't care if the movie or any movie for that matter was bad or good; Denzel crushes it every fucking time. Just a Legend

Lord W.

Same day, one per week, usually.

Tale of a middle aged man who lives an isolated existence. Unassuming, quiet but you know there's more to him. Due to an unfortunate set of events, he reluctantly puts the old boots back on and we have a dozen of action movies, all of varying qualities. Sometimes you hit jackpot and get John Wick, a franchise that reinvented and rejuvenated this trope of action films, more often than not however, you get films that you can't seem to differentiate couple of weeks after seeing it. The Equalizer falls somewhere in the middle for me. I really enjoyed the beginning 20 or so minutes. I liked the simplicity, the mystery of the lead character, and conveying the story through mostly silence. However, unlike John Wick that built upon its beginning with unparalleled action; meticulous world building; engrossing mythology, but also remaining true to its simplicity and never veering off, The Equalizer quickly lost its sheen - the novelty - and halfway through became just one of the many that came before it. Only difference being it had one of the greatest as the lead and that certainly, most definitely gives it its own brand of uniqueness because Denzel always shows up, and he certainly did here. 3.4 Answers

ok thanks

Robert's "Revenge" scenes were cool, but My favourite moments in this film was actually the scenes between Robert/Alina, I was fascinated by how their bond of friendship grew, just so wholesome, (glad she got her happy ending) as soon as something happened to her, we knew he was gonna go John Wick style on them Russians, the conversation with them before he took them out was done well, as was the 'Heat' scene ya nicknamed. "Sometimes we make the wrong choices to get to the right place" what a line! & Quinn calling that guys Tattoos "Doodles" was cutely amusing 😂 liked all your pop reactions to David Harbour, seems he was dealing with Russians here aswell as Stranger Things ha!. Had a good laugh at the Edge reference when ya heard "You think you know me". Robert was a badass in this movie, he equals out the laws of injustice.

ElmSt Reactions

never seen mixed reviews in my life for this, only great ones

Matthew Wagner

And with a very young Russell Crowe. Richochet before that was good too.

I'm Batman

Man, I enjoyed the Hell out of this movie. Yeah it has a good amount of tropes but I don't mind that kinda shit. As long as the action is good and the performances are solid then I'm gonna enjoy it. Really hope one day y'all check out a movie called Death Sentence starring Kevin Bacon, probably my favorite revenge movie if I'm being honest. Anyways, I had a blast with this. I'll give this a 4.25/5.
