That piece is actually played by a cello and not a violin, and it’s the Prelude from Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 in G major. Probably the most famous cello piece ever and I’m sure you’ve heard it in numerous things.

Stick is the ONLY thing that I remember other than the fact that there's Matt, Foggy and Karen. But I have remembered nothing that I've seen so far other than Wilson Fisk, was STICK. Stick is the man, I remember him being one of my favorite characters. That piece of music when Fisk is chopping vegetables is Bach Cello Suite 1. One of my favorite pieces and played best by Yo-Yo Ma who I believe was in the credits of some major motion pictures.

Matthew Glover

Mason Quinn finally got his validation for "Mission Focused" attitude! lol Cant wait for you guys to see the progression of Matt's childhood flashbacks, his story is so interesting and intense. The rest of this season just keeps getting better and better, yall are in for a ride!!!

Liked Quinn/Answer's 'Fisty Cuffs' impressions hehe & the amount of smug glee Quinn felt after Stick's comments being 'Mission Focused' during Matt's training 😄 cool seeing more backstory they fed us with Matt's childhood, "Time to stop taking a beating & start giving one" what a line! also "I wanted a Soldier, you wanted a Father" that line cuts deep too ouchies!. I found your comments about Fisk's breakfast/robe amusing hehe, but eggs for breakfast? not for me yuk (aggravates my stomach) Pancakes or Muffin is the best breakfast Mmmmm 😋 Agree with Quinn that they've made Fisk the MOST interesting villain here, especially after seeing his backstory, I first thought the Mother took the fall for his Father's murder & thats why we don't see her around at the moment, but he does have a Queen in his life with Vanessa, that was cool her picking out new suit/cufflinks. Also nice 'Sawing' impression during post review discussion Quinn haha.

Our hero: had a loving dad, then a mean/somewhat abusive mentor, mad abandonment/guilt issues, not very emotionally available to those close to him, and was heavily advised against showing or even acknowledging any feelings Our villain: had a POS/abusive dad, super scary mom whom he still wanted to save, big anger/guilt issues, is very good at communicating his feelings and vulnerabilities not only with his love interest but also showing emotional attunement with his fellow villain business partners, which helps him keep going There's more to be seen for each character, like whether our hero will maintain his ethics during his fight, and whether our villain realizes how much evil he's doing & to what degree he cares. But it's great to see the theme of what it means to be human with feelings, how we incorporate them into our lives/direction, and to see that explored with complex, fully dimensional characters. Makes it so much better than just kicky fights between white hat and black hat. The kicking is pretty cool though.

Idk why but every time I see the scene of Matt finding the bracelet he made Stick I just tear up. Makes me think Stick ended his training with Matt not only because Matt was attached, but because he was getting attached to Matt too.

Aww Answer a little hurt Mason Quinn agrees with cutting friends loose! 😜

Vanessa and Fisk definitely follow the “folie a deux” trope. I still ship them, lol.

I'm catching up on these reactions, first time watch for me, and episode 8 was sooo good! Fisk's character is so interesting to me. I started the first episode weeks ago and got to episode 3, still unsure if it was my type of show. I just started back up because I really wanna see Jessica Jones lol, but I'm glad that Daredevil has pulled me back in. I watched 4-8 in the past 2 days, and I'll probably finish the last 2 later today after some sleep. I'm not usually into media with mafia arcs but I like how much we've learned about Fisk and his relationship with Vanessa. Edit: Just realized there are 5 more episodes lol.
