Always look forward to Woo Fridays, these uploads make the end of the work week feel more special and I always end up surprised at how soon/suddenly Fridays arrive :D

Loved Oak’s discussion about attorneys. I can’t imagine having to defend someone who’s done heinous things and is CLEARLY guilty…

Ellie

I always look forward to these reactions! I don't fully understand the nuances of the situation, but they mentioned earlier in the season that Attorney Kwon believes he's competing against Woo Young Woo for a full-time position at Hanbada.

Another great episode and awesome reaction! I really love the opposing attorney and how her character represents the extinct dolphin. And just like you guys i can't seriously stand Gwon 😭 Big upvote for the dolphin hat idea!

That Kwon is becoming more & more of sabotaging snake each episode! & liked your reactions to Woo's dad questioning about her relationship with Jun-Ho, of course his just being a protective Father (as his been doing all his life with her) That was a cute blue Dolphin hat Woo was wearing & 1000% agree with Oak that Quinn should wear one for next Attorney Woo reaction hehe 😊 & yay for The Miz Wrestling reference haha.

Harlee

That's right. Not only that, he was cranking for 6 months (of his one year opportunity) and Woo showed up. I admire him in a way. He sees Woo's strengths not disability and respects her as a rival.

Childless Bambino

I haven't seen this series yet. Watching it in real time with you guys. I'd love to see Woo join a smaller law firm with perhaps more ethics. Maybe the opposing solicitor will show up again before this series is over?

“How do you know I kissed someone?” “What do you mean, how did I find out? You were making out right in front of our house!” And then: “The man is a total bastard. He’s going around smooching with you, and you’re not even going steady!” That whole scene between Young-woo and her father cracked me up! 😂😂😂 can’t wait to see how she introduce Junto to the father!

37:52 — “You should wear one of those hats.” — I would kill to see all of you wearing hats like that 😝😝😝

I'm hoping Kwon turns around because I don't feel like he's that bad, although he's definitely an ass 😅 I really like the actress playing the activist lawyer, I saw her in another show called Destined With You. And I'm currently watching Undercover Miss Hong which was released earlier this year, the second female lead is the actress playing Woo's coworker/friend, the more I see her the more I like this actress!

Very late to this one, but it might be useful for people watching this in the future. The pistol attorney Jung has in his desk is a "gas gun" (가스총). These are non-lethal weapons that operate in a variety of ways depending on the exact gun in question. Generally speaking, they work the same way pepper spray cans do. Crucially, they look like real guns and so can be used to scare an attacker. Ownership of these is heavily restricted in South Korea and a person cannot be in possession of one without explicit permission from the police. This permission comes in the form of a permit following an application at a police station. More generally, South Korean gun ownership laws are among the strictest in the world. It is very, very difficult to acquire a gun (both legally and, thanks to tight controls, illegally). Actual guns (meaning not gas guns) cannot be owned for self defence. They also cannot be kept at a person's home and must be stored at a police station, shooting range, or etc. The interesting thing here is that South Korea has mandatory military service for all men that must be completed after they turn 18 and before they turn 28. This has been the case since the late 1950s. The result is a very substantial portion of the population being trained with firearms.

I honestly love how Junho is very honest with Young Woo about how her actions affect him. one of my favorite things about their relationship is that it is helping her learn and grow as a person, particularly when it comes to interpersonal relationships. this relationship was always going to be complex, and I love that the show keeps illustrating this, while still showing how great they are together and how much they care about each other. I'm excited for the next few episodes, but also sad that we're almost to the end (at least until season 2).

Really scared for Jung! Next few episodes are killer!
