A little insight about what Answer said: Korea is a religiously diverse country, over half of South Koreans identify as religiously unaffiliated. Among those who do practice a religion, both Buddhism and Christianity (including Catholicism) are prominent, with Christianity being the largest overall. Love your reaction as always boys ❤️🤘

This was one of the happiest yet saddest episode ever , probably my favorite, can’t wait for next week 🤍🤍

Really enjoying your reactions to this show. Just to point out -- when you see something a bit off, like the young lady putting makeup on her face and they zoom in on it, that is product placement. A lot of Korean shows use product placement to support their budgets. So if attention is made for makeup, jewelry, cars, or kitchen appliances it is most likely product placement! I think the shows air without commercial breaks like our shows do, so this is how they handle it. Subway and another chicken place like to show up in Korean shows for that reason.

The landing gears deploying freak me out every time I fly. But almost everything on an airplane freaks me out lately lol

Great nickname for Kwon calling him "Gabe" & should be said in exactly the tone Answer says with complete contempt, yea we found WHY his being as ruthless as he is, BUT there's no need to resort to turning to the 'Dark Side' to achieve what he wants for his family, there are other, nicer & more honest ways to do it. The baloney sandwich joke was a winner in my books hehe 😂 & was sad to hear Jun-Ho's Sister opinions about Woo, even worse she overheard, but glad Jun-Ho stood up for her & I too will hold onto hope that Myeong-Seok is alright, was interesting that we got alot of insight into our characters this episode.

Oak I think you're right that the entire area around the temple is the heritage, and the journey through it is the experience itself. This could totally apply to Atty. Jung's situation too. I love your take on that! Also, interesting fact: bowing 158 times obviously takes a lot of energy, but it doesn't really hurt your kneecaps if the floor is properly padded. So it’s actually been a pretty popular cardio workout among Koreans whether they're Buddhist or not back in the day😂

I was looking forward to these Jeju episodes because they were some of the most memorable ones for me! I was especially excited that you would be reacting to them together, but I guess I just need to be patient. Still, I must say I’m really enjoying your reaction to this one ver much! Attorney Jung’s storyline is truly heartbreaking, especially considering how he has proven himself to be a genuinely good boss and a good person overall. Though I definitely wouldn’t want to be in his wife’s position. If I remember correctly, we’ll get more screen time focused on him and his family life in the next episode. I also want to mention the scene with Jun-ho’s sister, because it left a huge impression on me when I watched the drama for the first time. On one hand, I can kind of understand where she’s coming from, but the fact that she dumped all of that on her brother literally within half an hour of seeing Young-woo was completely inappropriate! Especially considering that Young-woo was nearby and could have overheard everything (which is exactly what happened). And I’m glad Oak pointed out how well Jun-ho handled the situation. He didn’t start making excuses or apologizing for his choice. He stood his ground, set clear boundaries, and most importantly, stood up for Young-woo as well.

Loved this reaction. This might have been my favourite episode of this show yet!

Also did Gabe say "Jennie from BlackPink" and they changed the subtitles? Sounded like that ha!

Aria Isara

On Netflix France I had "Jennie from Blackpink" in the english subs but I've notice the US english subs are often very different, even on random words. Like one other episode in my subs someone said "you're so annoying" and the guys' subs said "you and your rotten instincts" 😳

Aria Isara

The sister is totally a red flag! IMO she doesn't respect her brother 🤷‍♀️

Childless Bambino

Ah yes I knew I heard it right! Don't know why Netflix changed the subs. BlackPink are well known in the west!

Bekka NoyB

one of my fave episodes!
