Man the dialogue in the scenes between Matt and Father Lantam is just so good. I love the way they weave in Matt’s faith with his vigilantism in this show.

Liver and lung puncture under traction with that hook drag, on top of everything else - minimum trauma surgery and a couple weeks in the hospital, followed by 6 month gradual recovery with likely residual pain/limitations. Add dirty river water to those open wounds, hello sepsis. I had a hard time watching that thinking about all the suturing and blood loss control issues

Having so much fun rewatching this with the guys. I always forget how good this show was

To Oak’s criticism about Foggy’s reaction in ep 10. Foggy did say to Matt “you’re going to get yourself killed if you keep going like this.” He did express concern for Matt risking his life. But Foggy also had a valid concern for Karen and himself, that no one would believe they didn’t know what Matt was doing, and that they could be seen as accessories. Foggy trusted Matt enough to walk away from a secure future career at a prestigious law firm, but Matt didn’t trust Foggy with the truth. I’m still on board with Matt’s perspective, but I can understand how betrayed Foggy feels.

Really enjoyed the whole Art Gallery scene between Matthew/Vanessa/Fisk, all the dialogue there was so sharp & on point "Have you changed your mind about what you came here for?, no I would just need to consider the cost" what a line! cause Matt is considering the cost of taking down Fisk, agree too that its hard to like watching his character, but they've wrote him so good that it's hard not to want to see more of him. I do remember Foggy finding out the truth about Matt's identity, but I don't remember it being revealed this soon into the series. Had a cheeky chuckle over Quinn calling a part of his post review "Quick & Dirty version" hehe. 😈 Oak mentioning about the Size of Fisk's Bow Tie was quite amusing 🤣 loved the back & forth we got of past/present of Matt/Foggy, I guess I'm conflicted about the situation, like yea Matt could of told him the truth, but then after getting over the initial shock of it all, he could of been more worried about the condition his friend was in & see that what Matt's doing is very dangerous, but it's all for a good cause. How do you obliterate the smidgen of humanity that Vanessa brought out in Fisk? you take out his Lady, he sure will be out for blood in the next episode!.

Fisk means Fish in Swedish, Norwegian and Danish, just a fun fact xD

Haven't watched this in ages, and I'm suddenly realizing who they're talking about when they say "the Greek girl" in the flashback to their college days. Fantastic.

It was so great to watch along with you guys. I really hope you do Jessica Jones next. Great show and it has more humor, although dark as well. On a separate note I’d like to recommend Veronica Mars as another show you watch. I recently started watching it again and it honestly has some of the best writing and characters. Highly recommend.
