This show wasn't cancelled? I watched season 2 and didn't heard anything about it after that 😂 haven't seen ads or any online content for the show

Jordan

It almost felt like this could have been the season 2 finale

Matthew Glover

Whats unfortunate about the Jace situation is that he was actually handling himself really well and everything was going good for the most part. After he got hit with the first harpoon, they started flying higher and were more strategic. It was only the fact that Rhaena and Sheepstealer showed up that got Jace killed. Jace had to fly extremely low to try and defend Moondancer, and then had to flee from Sheepstealer while still flying low. Which put him right in the crosshairs of the ship with the Harpoons. So i would think that if Rhaena didnt show up,Jace and his sister wouldve handled the ships perfectly fine and everything wouldve been ok

Eboe Thrasher

Baela is the more experienced rider of the two between her and Jace, as well, but Rhaena and Sheepstealer really fucked the whole thing up. Without Sheepstealer those two could have remained "Mission Focused" (c) Quinn , and we still don't even know what happened to the Sea Snake. Oh yeah, both of the Lannister twins are dead, too. Well, one is confirmed, the other went in the drink but he maybe got out of his armor in time or could have clung to a rock and taken it off and survived to tell what happened at the battle.

Eboe Thrasher

Baela was his bethrothed, Rhaena is Baela's sister. Baela was far more experienced than Jace, that's why she was doing better in battle, she knew better than to put herself in a position like Jace did when he got harpooned. What I don't get is how they didn't burn through the rope, it was literally just rope, not wire or anything, a simple shot of fire would have burnt right through it.

Eboe Thrasher

It could have, they delayed it to basically make the finale a big old tease to build up the audience to start season 3 with a bang. Also, there was talk that their budget was reduced so that is why they had to cut back to 8 episodes for Season 2 already, maybe it was so late in the planning that they had to push this to Season 3 in order to spend enough to portray it correctly. That would make sense to me.

Matthew Glover

ohhh right, yea i forget the lineage's all the time. But yea,i thought the same thing as soon as he got hit the first time. They clearly show the rope up close, and its just normal rope. So Vermax shoudlve been able to easily either just bite the rope or burn it. Either a big oversight on the writing team,or they want us to think that Vermax is still inexperienced. Because he was screaming and panicking alot, but was only harpooned in his collar. So idk, either way it was a bit silly but something i didnt really care much about.

Oak trying to be positive with the kiss being like an Italian thing 🤣

Ari

Really??? I can’t escape the promotion living in nyc for the show. It’s literally everywhere you go

Marie RammGirl

Agree hearing that theme tune again gets ya so pumped up to watch & you're right, it does sound more drum heavy with this theme which is good to make it more unique to the main GOT theme. "What the weather be like today Jon?, raining piss & shit" sounds like a typical ol' English response haha (I've not used it myself, but I have heard "Mayhaps" being used & liked your reactions to that phrase hehe) Well that was worth the wait with such a spectacular (& sad) start to Season 3, didn't expect to lose a son of Rhaenyra & a Dragon in first episode, I know what Oak means about how ya feel when ya see a Dragon taken out. DAMN RIGHT QUINN!! THERE IS ONLY 1 TRUE DRAGON SLAYER, MASON QUINN FIRST OF HIS NAME THE ALMIGHTY DRAGON SLAYER!! hehe. 🐲 💚 (GOW BM Arcade If ya know, ya know)

Melina Paquette

Vermax was still a baby too trying to protect Jace and Moondancer 💔

Matthew Glover

Yea I think that's why he panicked so much and didn't think to burn or bite the rope of the harpoon. Vermax, from my understanding at least, was still young and very inexperienced, especially when it comes to full on war. So it would make sense that he panics when the harpoon hit his collar

Matthew Glover

Yea it went right over their heads with the "Mayhaps" word. They used it in the intro recap, when Alicents brother is talking to cole. "Was this your plan, for the king to ride into battle and mayhaps die" lol they can't even remember a word from 15 minutes prior

Crispy

this is what the IRL how to train a dragon should have been lmao

charon23

there were forced to move that episode to season 3, since at that time warner bros took over HBO and they made the decition to shorten the 2nd season to 8 episodes instead of 10 because money. Also it was in the middle of production so HBO had to move it otherwise everything else had to be shorten and reshoot, but the battle of the gullet was always planned to be the 2nd season finally.

Christy Oliver

Is there no uncut available? I don’t see it on the website?
