IM SO EARLY HEHE

Mika

Guys!! Remember there's a post credit scene in the final episode 💖 Cannot wait to watch Oak's reaction to the infamous episode 4😂

Mika

Same😂

Kaley

The sheer amount of anger and disgust from Oak and DD when Benedict said, “Be my mistress” was perfect!

Gabby

I think he was faking it for attention too Quinn lmao.

enyo96

“be my mistress” i actually had to pause when he said that bc WHAT 😂 im loving this season though so far, it might be my favorite😍

Niv

I used to feel so bad for the maids while watching the previous seasons. I mean, they're doing all the work while being invisible in society. I know this story is a little different, but I'm still happy we get to see little glimpses into their reality. Alright, let's gooo! 👀🍿

Jojo Hart

Btw the kite scene is the first scene Luke and Yerin filmed together

sandrinegeller

Fun fact for you guys (i am sure all the bridgerton fans already know) but the actor who plays benedict is a native french speaker since he grew up in france as a kid so he said it was actually really hard to figure out how to speak french badly like benedict does

Kickinthescience

The shooting percentage on Charlotte’s wigs is better than Steph Curry

Isabella Anderson

So, regarding the "be my mistress " line: while there is no excuse for that - it's a shitty thing to ask through and through - there is reasoning for it. During Regency times, intermingling between the classes of any type was heavily discouraged as it tampered with the social hierarchies many in power wanted to uphold. Additionally, as far as Benedict is concerned, Sophie is just a maid, and thus impossible for him to marry without dire social consequences for him and his family. It isn't a matter of 'not caring about what society thinks', but more so a matter of his whole family's reputation and influence going down the gutter if he openly pursues her. This is why the only acceptable relationship he can imagine having with her is a relationship where she is his mistress. The reason still doesn't excuse the approach, though; easily the worst thing Benny's character has done.

Kickinthescience

The actress that plays Eloise sometimes in real life looks like a British Hailee Steinfeld

GooseToes

Yes in season 1 Daphne and Anthony couldn't figure out the stove to heat up some milk 😂 I'm glad y'all thought of that too when Benedict was trying to light the fire

Al

DD & Oak’s simultaneous “What the fuck!” had me rolling🤣. MQ is right tho the Bridgertons fuck up a lot, lol. And once again I just love Oak’s burning passion for romance.😆

Nana

i love how all your guesses are wrong ahaah

GEMsMama

So I have a bad habit of watching the new seasons, at midnight when they first drop, all four episodes. I was so pissed off, and so loud at that point, I startled my husband who was snoring downstairs. Which is a feat in and of itself, the man could sleep through being in a tornado. But he kind of stumbled halfway up the stairs to see me and make sure I was okay 😬😂

enyo96

Hahaha that’s hilarious he came to check on you lol

Georgia Young

Ayyy that's my cousin as an extra at 11:38, on the left with the paper open :) So crazy hahahah happy that she got this opportunity!!

Paige

Eeeeeeeeeee my favorite episode! Also I am way to happy that they love this season so much, especially Oak. It’s my favorite ❤️

Paige

This!!

LesNV

Mason you were correct, that was 2 Door and Daphers that didnt know how to light a stove in season 1. Also, I want to point out that even if they do find out that Sophie's father was an Earl/Count, it still wouldn't matter bc Sophie's mother was a maid. So, for lack of a better word, Sophie is a bastard, so society still wouldn't accept her. It's all about social standing, you need good pedigree (nobility/ peerage) from both sides.

roxie c

fun fact the actor who plays benedict grew up in france so his french is actually excellent in real life, even in the show benedict’s pronunciation is better than sophie’s (at least easier to understand, even if you can tell he’s trying to have a THICCC accent lol) he added some type of accent in the show but in real life he almost has no accent (you can barely hear it)

sandrinegeller

Lol as benedict's defense attorney, reserve judgment until you hear more of his thoughts. I think you are not completely understanding what benedict means with his offer, which is fair, but give him a chance! our sweet benedict is better than that!

Vjorkie

SO TRUE!! the way they both said it at the same time!! They had no idea it was coming and quinn was left speechless. So funny😆

Nana

can we get ep5 now pretty plssss

Liloo99

amazing reaction as always guys!!!

Vjorkie

I love that whenever sophie and benedict get closer the three of them feel the spark, chemistry, and tension of benophie while some might not understand but they did!!😝🤭✨

Vjorkie

Well everything's gonna turn upside down for the next couple of episodes i wonder if they gonna change the poster cuz the current poster is about what's like living in the "fantasy" which shows ep 1-4 while ep 5-8 is gonna hit hard the "reality" for a lot them and this season have two different kind of posters which really brings the representation of it. Hope they change it for the part two of the season but if not it's fine😆 just so u know gentle viewers😉🫵

Vjorkie

Truly!! Like tuesdays can't get any faster!!

Vjorkie

Wow good for her!! Which ep btw?

Vjorkie

I love now that they are quite impatient with benedict not recognizing sophie as lady in silver but before they were onto sophie not telling benedict she is the lady in silver🤣

Z

Just because her dad was a nobleman doesn’t make her situation different, even if Benedict found out who her father was, she was still born out of wedlock and to a maid at that, she’s illegitimate either way. Also the stepmother didn’t lie about her parentage, it’s evidently clear by now that she’s illegitimate and even the father said so, calling her “my ward”. I think you guys are getting that confused and believing all the stepmother has said as a lie, which isn’t true.

Lisa Clark

The, "dude, what the fuck?" in unison at the end of 3x4 is an all timer moment for the channel.

Georgia Young

Your synchronised 'what the fuck?!' at 57:55 made me crack the fuck up xDDDD

janehofstra

Your reactions are priceless, my favorite and I've seen many! I have to say though, I think Anthony proposing to Edwina in front of Kate is worst than Benedict's proposition to Sophie. Anthony walked into that problem eyes wide open whereas Benedict admits it's not ideal but he is hopelessly in love and desperate for a solution. Sophie may not realize it at this point, but he means "mistress" differently in that he's not asking for her to be a sidepiece but just as the only solution (he thinks) for them to be together. And unbeknownst to him, he's already fallen in love with Sophie twice, Benedict is serious here at last albeit misguided!

umhw77

I can’t wait for you guys to see the rest of the season after watching these reactions omg

umhw77

I knowww she deserves to be happy 🥹. Also Violet’s actress is actually 58 she looks incredible

Lisa Clark

I agree with Oak, though. I don't know that any Bridgerton has messed up as badly as Benedict just did.

umhw77

Mama Violet knows all. I love watching the wheels turning in her head. Her actress really does such a phenomenal job with all her micro expressions. Also can we appreciate how much she cares for and wants to protect Sophie after Sophie spent so many years being abused and beat down by Lady Penwood

Georgia Young

Number 3!! She's also in episode 4 at 2:02 :)

umhw77

Exactly. Also Maids were also considered as one of the lowest tiers of society, beyond just being a commoner. Lol Reddit went crazy with questions about why Kate was suitable for Anthony but something between Sophie and Benedict is so forbidden but again it’s because Sophie is a maid and her mother was a maid which is like the lowest of the low

umhw77

As Mrs. Crabtree also pointed out there’s also concerns now because of the power imbalance (she was saying how everything Benedict requests Sophie must technically acquiesce because of her station) and I think it’s further complicated as Oak talked about in the beginning of episode 4 now that Sophie works for the Bridgertons

Demanda

I know you’re joking about Sophie being “royal” but she’s not even noble (like the rest of the ton) because her parents weren’t married. If anyone finds out who her father was, she would be considered an even WORSE match for Benedict, not a more suitable one.

Ellie

I dunno, I think Anthony proposing to Kate's sister and making it all the way to the altar with her is just as bad, if not more 😂 I wonder if Benedict's "mistress" proposition seems worse due to recency bias.

Suki

I knew HR was gonna be referenced in some way during the cottage ep just didn’t expect it to be about the wolf bird 😂

Ellie

I'm pretty sure the term "pinnacle" was first used in season 1 when the Duke was talking to Daphne. I find it so amusing that most (if not all) of the male reactors I've watched thought that Francesca's was real XD I knew she was faking right away haha I will say, I understand why Hyacinth was upset, and I agree that Eloise needed to tone it down. With that said, it doesn't help that Violet is STILL forcing this stuff onto her, which is part of why she's so aversive to it. If Violet wasn't forcing her to either join the finishing lessons or endure more matchmaking schemes, she might be more open to hearing what Hyacinth has to say. I wish the other characters were a little more understanding of Eloise's point of view, but it's only ever Eloise who has to apologize and try to understand everyone else. It's always been frustrating for me to watch and is probably my least favorite part of the show, as someone who is similar to Eloise. Anyway, great reaction, I think everyone pretty much reacted the same to Benedict's "offer" lol. I think I actually said, "EW" when I first watched it, I was actually disgusted with Benedict for a hot minute. I can't wait for next week!!

Nina

All we need in life is y'alls reaction to Benedict at the end of episode 4. This is the outrage we all require. LOL I can't wait for your reaction to the back four episodes. If you want to fill your time with similar vibes... The Gilded Age on HBO.

Cherelle jackson

This show is so damn good & watching yall reactions makes it so much better 🤣😭 !

Bri

I love episode 3! I thought being at My Cottage felt like they were doing Beauty & the Beast with how she mends his injury, stays at his cottage, is introduced to his library, (although here it's to showcase Benedict's art), and then if that's not enough she even speaks French! It starts to feel like the montage when Belle and Beast start spending quality time together and you can see their feelings start to grow. So sweet. ☺️ Also I love that a Paramore song made it into this episode! I hadn't heard that song in years so when I first watched this episode I was like waaait... I know this song! For anyone who doesn't know the main chorus repeats "All I wanted was you" which actually made me sad because of how the episode ends and that note from Whistledown. It's like: What a sweet little bubble they lived in at My Cottage, but now they have to snap back to reality and remember societal norms and pressures. 😭

Ruth Miranda

Love the reaction! So much investment! This is what I needed when I first watched this episode. The about of surprise and anger is just my reaction too I have read all the books in this series and Benedict and Sophie are by far my favorite characters ❤️

Bee

I was waiting the whole time for the ‘Be my mistress’ moment - ultimate fuck boy move !

Bee

I get it - I do. But this was also the shittiest way to ask. After accosting her in the stairwell and then saying I wanna give you the world…as my side piece! Also a horrible way to treat a mistress…

maliemoment

The unison WTF was so good 🤣🤣🤣

Bee

I really appreciated Violet’s journey and she look fantastic and that green getup! Lord Handsome was handsoming for sure!

Eni

I adore Gilded Age. 😍 They would LOVE that show and characters. Especially Agnes!😁

Amanda Diaz

Almost every reactor I've watched always forgets that it doesn't matter who Sophie's dad is, she still won't be accepted because she a bastard child & her mom is a maid. It's all about class. Their relationship won't be accepted.

GEMsMama

I felt so bad, but then he asked me what happened, So I told him, “FUCKING BENEDICT!?!?” He was like, “He fuck up?” And I was like, On a whole OTHeR level!!! I think he just “Mhmmed” at me and went back to bed. 😂🤣😅

Eni

Oak at 1:12:10 said “Rest in peace Rupert” like they said in princess diaries “King Rupert. May he rest in peace”😂

Darci

I love these guys but they're doing my fecking head in with thinking Soofay can just say hey it was me behind the mask and Benedict and Lady Bridgerton will say great let's get married. Altho I do laugh at every guess being so wrong each time 😆

Stacey Stewart

I’m desperate for y’all to know that “The Black Widow” as you call her is the same actress who played Cho Chang in the HP movies.

Keyuana Gray

Just saying, if you want some scandal after Bridgerton. You should in fact watch Scandal

.

love how Oak and Diamond Dave said ''WTF?'' at the same time hahaha. And the disappointed 'nooo...' from Mason Quinn. Yeaaah, Benedict screwed up there for sure.

Keyuana Gray

I think they would be so addicted

Eni

Yessss.❤️🤌🏼

mae_annabelle

the episode 4 review was everything i hoped it to be 😂

Kay

I think one thing that this season is great at exploring is the class system in the UK which is still very much deeply imbued socially, which is why Mrs. Crabtree said to Sophie that she should know her place. It is always implicitly implied here, I moved to the UK as a teen and even to this day as an adult I'm still startled by people's unwillingness to 'rise above their station', there is a quite strong social rule that class signifiers mean something deeply about who you are and it can be quiet weird to experience if you did not grow up here it's as invisible and common as the air

Carolina M

I'd like to recommend that you watch Downton Abbey, especially since you mentioned enjoying the perspective of the Bridgerton household staff. Downton Abbey shows a lot about the daily lives of workers in a British royal household, and it's an excellent show!!!

ondraya

Your reactions to "Be my mistress" did NOT disappoint LMAO

Ailene Evangelista

The reactions to “be my mistress” did NOT disappoint 🤣 😭 Benedict was collectively on everyone’s internet shit list after this episode, between part 1 and part 2 being released. It was so funny seeing everyone so mad lol.

Sofya Remez

I just love these Bridgerton reactions 😅❤️ I actually think in terms of a fuck up Benedict is not that bad. In comparison of course. Simon with the whole “I can’t give you kids” thing, Antony and the wedding to Edwina and then Colin’s comment to Pen that she had a plan to entrap him. I’m actually most pissed at Colin. He ruined her engagement with the other guy, chased her carriage and did the whole carriage thing and then the “entrapment” comment. Also have to say… I think the last 4 episodes should be watched in one sitting. Without giving spoilers, it’s just hard for me to understand how not to watch eps 6 & 7 together. And if you do that, then why not watch the whole thing 🤣 yes, there is a bit of self interest on my part. Also I know you mentioned Downton Abbey kind of jokingly, but if there is a vote, please count me in. I’ve seen a clip of Maggie Smith’s lines from the show literally today, and I just KNOW, you would love her as much as the rest of us

Charlie

Watching the reactions of horror people have to the “be my mistress” moment has become my Roman Empire. But this one was absolutely top tier and probably my favorite ever. Peak cinematic moment for your channel, gentlemen. We’ll get more insight into this in later episodes, but it’s important to remember that Sophie has a (very warranted) visceral reaction to “be my mistress” because that is exactly what her mother was to her father: a maid who became a mistress. And being a mistress, especially one who is a maid, is absolutely scandalous. Remember when the staff were speculating who would move in next door and someone guessed mistress? Mrs. Wilson immediately said the ton would never associate with “that kind of family.” Even if men of the ton have mistresses, it’s meant to be an unspoken secret and the two worlds are never ever supposed to collide. Mistresses are not supposed to intermingle with the “proper” ladies of the ton and men are not supposed to openly acknowledge them when out in society. I love how much disdain Oak has for the rules of society and social classes, but this is literally the theme of this season. We are meant to hate it because we love Sophie and Benedict together. I absolutely loved the upstairs/downstairs views we got this season because I think it’s so important to show. As much as we love the fantasy in Bridgerton we should also understand the reality as well. If you want more upstairs/downstairs-type content, I would recommend Gosford Park (movie), Downton Abbey (tv), The Gilded Age (tv), The Hardacres (tv), The Remains of the Day (movie), Belgravia (tv), The Grand (tv), Victoria (tv), and of course the og: Upstairs Downstairs (the og is from 1971 but there was a remake in 2010)

Amanda Diaz

I mention that once they are done with Bridgerton, they think Bridgerton is scandal, they are not ready for Scandal lol 😂. I would love to see their reactions to that.

Amanda Diaz

I'm glad more people are saying this, I've mention it before. Scandal is soo good! I know they will love it! The drama & scandal lol it's up their alley.

Miss Freaky

My dudes! EP3 Q was correct: Daffers and Two-Door were both in the kitchen trying to make warm milk but alas could not, they did not know how to fire the oven/stove....Q remembered something!! Mark it on your calendars my lords 😝😜 D: Fancy wine sets - go antiquin! Thrift stores, old timey stores - you might find something fancy!! Good luck on your wine set shopping! 🍷🍷🥂 O: Choppy waters? EP4: O: You should see my telescope! Q & D: Side eye...lol - dude we were all side eyeing ya!! 😂 Good moment my lords!

Rachel

Thank you for that really thoughtful conversation after episode 3!

Holly

Luke Thompson grew up in France and speaks perfect French so he's had to dumb down his French twice now!

Holly

AND, she was born out of wedlock. He couldn't have married her bc she was a maid and not of nobility, or at least the gentry. But worse, she was born out of wedlock.

Holly

It seems many find this the best season but for me that's still Season 2. That said, I think Yerin Ha is by far the best female main actress so far. She's mesmerizing in this show. So vulnerable and haunting.

Hathor

Lol! I will keep mentioning it in the comments until it is gifted to us. 🫠

Hathor

4x6: Appleton Oak, I reacted the same way when Benedict turned that passionate scene into making a female feel worthless especially when he knows how they both feel for each other. I would have taken offense to that as well. ❤️‍🔥 Sophie knows her self worth & that she is no mistress.

Emily Blackie

Downton Abbey would be amazing, guys!

Chrissy

Dave, at some point, you will encounter a vanilla ice cream that will knock your socks off, and you will become a reformed vanilla hater. XD

Ha'ane Rose 🦋

Not to excuse the "be my mistress" nonsense and to add onto Isabella's comment, even gentlemen of high society who were not married had a mistress because that was as close as they'd be able to call someone from a lower class their wife. So if Benedict wanted to marry Sophie, she wouldn't be able to call herself his wife either and she would still have to be known as his mistress with what would be seen as an "illegal marriage". It does suck but thats the way it worked back then.

Knightmare

Seeing Violet happy to the Benedit WTF scene in episode 4 was such whiplash man 😂

umhw77

Was gonna say this. I love how they take the time to really talk about the episodes and have an insightful conversation. You don’t see this level of depth with a lot of other creators

Knightmare

Asking someone to be your mistress when you aren't even married is so....

Knightmare

Last comment... but you guys aren't ready for next week. I can promise you that 😂 BE PREPARED

Cristy

Yes, please!

Cristy

The guys know, they've mentioned it a couple of times (including ep 1).

Emily Blackie

We have all been waiting for you guys to react to this episode and it didnt disappoint. The entire internet was screaming, "Ew! Uhhh...WHAT THE F@#$!" when it came out.

Cristy

"Take my meat pie and leave." The Australian in me loved this, MQ. Loving these reactions so much, I love how invested you guys are in S4, it is my fave for a reason. I love the symbolism of the stairs and their status in society; the upstairs and downstairs of it all.

AVF

I completely agree that in this situation, this seemed like the only 'solution'. I never really understood the big freak out about the line, especially when Sophie actually considers it later.

javiera

That double WTF from Oak and DD, my god 😂😂😂 peak comedy

Jessica Rose

Love the reaction lol. Benedict finding out who's Sophie father was doesn't really change anything. She was born out of wedlock therefore illegitimate and not considered noble . Remember in Queen Charlotte when the queen's sons had children before marriage. They were not legitimate heirs, so they couldn't inherit any titles or the throne

FD

I loved your reactions as always! And the Heated Rivalry reference :)

Marie RammGirl

First of all, Quinn is correct on both counts of it was Daphers & 2 Door who snuck down to the Kitchen to warm some milk, but had no idea how to use the stove in Season 1 & Yes Cinderella's dress was that pale shade of blue similar to what Sophie wore there. Also a "Stiff Cup of Tea" means Gregory likes it to have a more 'Robust' flavour, so you usually brew it longer for 4-6 minutes, add a splash of milk & a dash of sugar, it's actually how I like my tea too. I also FULLY AGREE with Oak about removing the under white Tshirt of Quinn's & just rocking the fancy frilly shirt only hehe. (also liked the popped collar thing Quinn/DD did aswell) ;) Your reactions to Francesca/John's 'Party Time' & her asking family about a 'Pinnacle' was amusing & you also had me in fits of cheeky giggles talking about your insights of 'Pinnacles' during Sophie's bedtime hehe 😈 & it seems that Violet's 'Garden' is in 'Full Bloom' too, but yes agree it was better they were classy with her intimate time with Marcus, she spent so long taking care of her children's happiness, it's about time she had some too! 😊 (liked Quinn slapping Oak's hand away with his impression of coyness of Violet/John there & the face Quinn pulled when Oak mentioned "Safeword" hehe) 😏 All your reactions for Benedict's BIGGEST donut moment saying that "Mistress" line to Sophie-Rella & how fired up you were during your post review discussions was just the absolute best! it's a joy to listen of you being SO invested in storyline & it's characters, we even got another 'Taz Mode' Oak cause of it. 😂

Alanna Meyers 🍌

Cinderella’s dress is actually silver but was made blue for marketing as they wanted all the Disney princesses to have distinct colours (Belle is yellow, Aurora is pink, etc) and they were also worried with merch that Cinderella’s dress colour might make it look too much like a wedding dress.

itsdivya

the ending reaction to ep 4 is all us of hahahahha

SaiSaivipa

Just wanted to explain why “Black Widow” wouldn’t have killed her husbands. For her titled husband, the inheritance goes to the male heir. Like the Featheringtons family situation. Since she only has daughters, she would have most likely been kicked out of the house when her husband died, and the next heir assumes the title. She might have had some means if the husbands left anything that are not entailed (tied to the title) to her but would have had a hard situation with no “protection” and having to raise 2 girls by herself. So having a live husband would have been more beneficial for her and her daughters.

Elinaboo

Kate

Knew we would get a quality Oak crash out at the end! 🥰

Halima

If I were ranking transgressions against the female lead I’d probably go Simon, Benedict, Anthony, then Colin. Benedict’s definitely not the worst 🤣

Verity

Oak’s resting grimace at the end 😅😅

enyo96

oh boy he FUCKED up real badly 😭😭😂 (Benedict that is, not your husband lolol)

Delphine

chocolate ice cream is by far worse than Vanilla imo

Miya

That would be a good show to watch during the Bridgerton drought.

Miya

I've grown to really like Eloise as a character, but I definitely sided with Hyacinth in this couple of episodes. I think regardless of what Mama Bridgerton is forcing Eloise to do, she's been downright rude to her baby sister who is just trying to connect with her. Her comments about Hyacinth's interests at the Kilmartin party were very uncalled for. I do think Eloise can be very self-absorbed, but is learning. I did enjoy her character arc in Season 3 more than this season though.

Miya

Oh man how did I forget about Anthony throwing that hail mary and proposing to Edwina in front of everyone?? Hand him the white paint and a red nose because what a clown. 😂 What a great season that was.

Miya

Always rooting for Mama Bridgerton!

Ellie

I get that, and like I said I do understand why Hyacinth was upset. I agree Eloise needed to tone it down. But I also understand from Eloise's pov, it's hard to entertain endless conversations about a topic that is being pushed down your throat as being your only option. It's not just, "this topic bores me," it's also, "I'm constantly being told that I'm not allowed to care about anything else but this topic." Of course she's frustrated and pushing back against it

Kunzite Blossom

Exactly. Likely she had a similar situation as the Featheringtons after her first husband died so she remarried to stay secure. It's more of a shame and coincidence she married two men who died early. Unless her first husband was older and more in the Lady Danbury situation. Then could explain why he passed while the kids were young before having a male heir.

Kunzite Blossom

I agree. Eloise all but said she is happy to be a spinster. She doesn't have any interest in marriage. Yet Violet is actively pushing it on her. I've been in situations of having thoughts pushed onto me that I would never agree with. It can be tiresome and while I've had people understand and back off eventually, Eloise is not getting that respite. Her mothers deal is she doesn't need to go out in society as long as she oversees her sisters finishing lessons, in hopes it may spark interest in Eloise. Even her own best friend who she thought would be a spinster with her is married to her brother now. I do think Eloise needed to hear what Hyacinth said, but I do not think it is fair that only Eloise needs to tone it down. I think if marriage and finding a suitor wasn't pushed so much onto her, she may actually be happy for Penelope or her sister and enjoy the discussions even if slightly.

Alinta_Energy

Felt like I needed to jump in here after the live today, but DD saying vanilla ice cream is boring is exactly the point the show is trying to make. Unfortunately Francesca’s intimate moments are “vanilla”.

Ashlyn

I was feeling the build up and then “be my mistress” had me screaming too 😂

Jesse B

Yo these Bridgerton Reactions are officially the best on the channel 😂😂😂😂😂

FionR

What’s not been said explicitly (too gritty for Netflix) is that any unmarried woman who is “kept” by a man is identified as a prostitute in this period. The social stigma was unimaginable. Any “respectable” person, nobility or servant, would not dream of associating publicly with a woman in that situation. Sophie would lose all her friends, she could never be acknowledged by Benedict or any of his family. If they had children, the fact that their father was a Bridgerton would be meaningless. They would be viewed by society as the illegitimate children of a prostitute. Sophie knows exactly what that would mean. She risks everything, Benedict risks nothing.

Brittany R

Also because her being a maid automatically ruins both their reputations. Think, for example, how even in our current modern society there's shade thrown about CEO's dating their secretaries or just general HR policies around superiors dating employees. Benedict (and by extension, other Bridgerton men_ would get a reputation for sleeping with the help so not only would it be gossiped about in society but also the Bridgertons would probably have trouble hiring new staff in the future because potential maids would hear the reputation and worry about being "targeted". And on Sophie's end, she would forever be gossiped about as a maid who seduced her employer to "climb the ladder". Few in the cannabalistic society of the ton would see it as just "they fell in love", it would be a debauched lord who fools around with staff and a power-hungry seductress maid. And this would impact not only Benedict and Sophie, but also their children.

Brittany R

THIS! Anthony fumbled because of his own stubborness and internal hang ups. Benedict fumbled because of the costraints of the world they lived in. Honestly, I think the worst part of Benedict fumble was his timing.

Brittany R

Diamond Dave being so OVER Benedict's shit was hilarious.

Donna Rossi Youngblood

The irony, (for me anyway) of the conversation between Franchesca and Pen at the Ice Cream shop was unbelievable. I'm well, well over the hill and grew up conservatively Catholic. (I rebelled quite vehemently in college and was relatively "active."). But I remember having just this same conversation with a newly married friend of mine who was struggling with being newly married and unsatisfied in that department. Even in the early 80's women were not in any way truly encouraged to celebrate, enjoy, and be knowledgeable about their own bodies. Very different than the "go Momma Bridgerton" view points expressed by you guys. But don't be fooled. Society is still bent on stigmatizing women who "rake about" while men are lauded for the same.

Aubrey

These Bridgerton reactions have given me such respect for our green-flag-waving boys. My favorite moments, though, are when Oak goes AOak3 on us and starts writing fanfic real-time about what will happen next. What even are we going to do when we get caught up? I look forward to this silly little slice of pure joy every week.

Gabby

NAH

Gabby

These heathens are making excuses for him in the comments my god. I hope all of you WANT to end up mistresses cause WHAT

Gabby

You would think so the way they’re fighting for this shit..mind you Benedict is fighting with Colin for most chopped bridgerton… so what are we even doing

Gabby

And he has no lips and the “seductive lines” they always put on the men don’t even work with him cause he’s so…just not sexy like at all even when they try and force it

patrick

Ok but why is no one talking about MQ's comment about not actually buying a new car after having a pinnacle, that made me laugh so hard. And Oaks reaction to it😭😭

Sandra

It is so much fun to see them so invested in these storylines! They should do Downton Abbey. It's nothing alike but I'm sure they would like it a lot.

Oooh...if you guys decide to stick with Bridgerton type reactions, I would totally love to see a reactin to the BBC Pride and Prejudice mini-series with Colin Firth as Darcy. It's legit my favorite version. But if you guys do want to continue with Shondaland series, please react to Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder!!

Ep 3 notes Oak’s reaction when he saw the cottage — “Get the fuck out!” at 3:28 was so relatable 😂😂😂 28:34 — “Folks, sparks!” Oak just can’t help himself during every Benedict and Sophie! interaction Your reaction to the pinnacle situation was top-tier comedy! 59:25 — “They spent two more days at this place — they’re married. It’s done.” — MQ is shipping them hard too! 1:05:00 DD is busy writing down another great line. Meanwhile Oak to MQ: “You should write it down.” MQ: “I’m living in the moment.” That cracked me up too 😂😂😂 But I love how DD always write down the lines that impress him and say he is going to use them someday . 1:07:23 — “That was the fastest hour and ten minutes in the history of this channel.” — Oak is so me whenever I watch one of my favorite shows! We’ve all been there 😂😂😂 Oak’s speech in the post-discussion about older women’s insecurities regarding their bodies and intimacy after losing the love of their lives, considering Mama Bridgerton’s situation, was beautiful and meaningful! That’s why he’s my favorite on this channel.

Ep 4 notes It’s so funny how you expect Benedict to recognize Sophie after every tiny interaction they have, but you have to remember — he’s a dummy, and it’s been a couple of months! 😂 You were all so eager to find out how Sophie’s origins would be revealed and by whom 😝 I’ve never seen you throw out so many predictions! 31:47 — “Sometimes you think you need to buy a new car, but it turns out you just need a pinnacle, and your mind is right.” — MQ had me dying laughing 😅😅😅 38:18 — “LOOK AT HIM FUCKING LIGHT UP!” Your reaction when Lord Handsome took his shirt off was priceless! Your confidence that Benedict was running after Sophie at the end of the episode because he had finally figured it out was adorable 😅 But Benedict gagged all of us by making the most unromantic proposal imaginable — asking her to be his mistress 🙈 You always forget how strict the rules were back then! Your reactions at 57:57 were exactly like mine! I was like, “BENEDICT, WHAT THE FUCK? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! THAT’S NOT HOW YOU WIN A GIRL OVER!!!” I don’t think I’ve ever seen you guys more confused and devastated by the end of a Bridgerton episode than this one! DD: “I don’t even give a shit if they end up together. Right now, I actually hope they go their separate ways.” Oak: “You stop that.” MQ: “Well, sometimes you don’t get a happy ending.” Oak: “Because he fucked up this badly?” DD: “I hope she finds someone better after that bullshit.” Oak: “You know what? Maybe you’re right!” Oh, that was truly a legendary moment, because Oak was finally convinced to cross over to the “dark side” and become practical instead of a hopeless romantic 😂😂😂 This whole post-discussion was top-tier! Oak’s passion was palpable through the screen!

Warning ahead of time! There is a post credits scene after the final episode of the season! I’d die if I didn’t get to see your reaction to it!

In the eye of the beholder...he is the most vulnerable, genuine, sincere, and honest of the actors and that vulnerability makes him so much sexier than the other two to me.

Idk if you guys noticed but in the scene where Sophie fixes Benedict's button, Benedict asks her "while we were at My Cottage, do you remember asking me whether I ever felt out of place?" Fun fact: Sophie never asked him this at My Cottage. The lady in silver asked him this when they were at the masquerade ball, which is indicative that he is subconsciously mixing up his memories and also shows that he actually fell in love with her TWICE, even though they're the same people.

I love how invested Oak is! Also, in the book, Benedict discovers Sophie’s identity much the way Mason described (putting a mask on her face), but they changed that in the series; honestly, that’s the only thing I miss from the book—which, for me, is the best one in the Bridgerton saga!

The way Oak turned and looked at Mason when he said "what happened to Hazel?" just made me BUST OUT LAUGHINGGGGGGGG. I can't breathe😭😹

Nicole Campbell

The way I repeatedly watch everyone's face glitch at the "be my mistress" I crack up every time..

Oh god that ending was hilarious! Oak's anger never ceases to amuse and be relatable. So many of us fans had that same reaction. After all that talk Benedict had to end it like that? Not as bad as Anthony but the two are pretty close. ep 3- Benedict's wound scene I found to be hilarious because all Sophie did was barely clean it with alcohol and wrapped it. Granted there are hospital shows that mess up things so not too much critic on it but they could've written that better. Granted he could've easily gotten an infection what with it having been a liquor bottle and the ground having had animals walking and pooping on it probably got that piece of glass dirty. Eloise and Hyacinth had a career woman vs stay at home woman vibe. Both are great paths as long as the person has the choice to go down the path. Not every woman wants to be a career woman and not all want to be a stay at home wife, and then you go those who do both. Shouldn't shame someone's opinion just because it doesnt match yours (unless its like huge moral and ethic issues like cheating or sa). MQ thinking Francisca's pinnacle was real...I think we really need a When Harry Met Sally reaction because he would likely fall for Meg Ryan's scene.

Unpopular opinion: Daphne fucked up the worst but not everyone is ready for this conversation. If we rate the sibs from most f-ed up: Daphne, Anthony, Benedict, Colin. Daphne for obvious reasons, Anthony because he roped in an innocent person - he purposefully hurt multiple people.
