Maison Quinn saying, that guy plays the character (referring to David Tennant as Kilgrave) really well! This only reinforces my belief that this group seriously needs to go down a marathon list of Tennant shows!!! I feel like they would love Good Omens, great, easy way to dip their toes in the water.

In response to Answer, it was Cipher who betrayed them all in the 1st Matrix Movie. Everyone's reactions to the 'Star Wars' reference was one of the best moments in this reaction 😄 also I think we ALL should announce the way Kilgrave said "I Want Cake!" when we want some hehe, was cool seeing Kilgrave's backstory, but it STILL doesn't excuse what his done & put everyone through, Agree having a story arc & powers like that is what makes for an interesting Villain. But that 'Torture Chamber' sure backfired on Jessica, if it wasn't for Hope, Kilgrave would be long gone by now. (Oak banging his head on the desk after the eps haha)

I’m legitimately shocked (no pun intended) none of them even thought twice about it being bad writing… the obvious camera move drawing attention to itself, the context of the rest of the episode… I remember piecing together what was going on right away in that moment.

Oak, in regards to the "faulty" wires, did you miss how the camera immediately panned up to Hogarth after the spark of the wires? In case you missed it, Hogarth spent some time alone with Kilgrave off screen. The way I perceived it, Hogarth tampered with the wires. I don't believe it was bad writing.

He's so good in Broadchurch, but the subject matter is so dark and heavy I'm not sure I want to do that to them. It might traumatize them too much.

If you've never seen it, watch him singing 500 Miles at the BAFTAs (he was hosting). It's positively delightful. I would also recommend the series he did with Michael Sheen during Covid called "Staged" in which they played fictionalized versions of themselves communicating over Zoom, trying to rehearse a play. It's hilarious (the two are incredibly close friends in real life).

It would be very interesting if there is a comic where the heavy drinkers try to out drink each other. JJ, Wolverine, Thor, Tony, Valkyrie. The car accident was 100% on the father. Those kids mustve argued well before then so he shouldve had enough knowledge it wasnt worth looking away from driving. Heck it almost looked like he wouldve turn the wheel as he looked over his shoulder. Kilgrave is a lot like Crowley from Supernatural, Stanley Tucci’s character on Hunger Games, they make you laugh, you come to sympathize for how they came to be to a point you almost forgot the bad they did. Some can be redeemable others gotta agree with Simpson, they cant live for long.
