Regipri1716

So early! I get to watch it during my work break!!

CeeEl

Yey! Just in time for dinner. Saved me from looking for something to watch 😅

Alicia

thanks for the early drop! now i have something to watch on my eurostar back to London :)

X27

just to comment on the part where seri says ri will be a good husband and father, it makes me so happy that happened IRL 😭🤍

Jackie Wilson

Brand names have no real monetary value. Ain't that the truth. (Referencing the watch scene, that is.)

Knightmare

Nobody ever brings it up but Se Ri's actress is genuinely so funny 😂 she has amazing mannerisms

Ellie

Loving these reactions every week! I've never seen an egg opened like that either, Oak 😂 The scene with Captain Ri talking about how he doesn't think about the future and then the brief flashes to his past was so impactful...

mdl

The only issue I have with watching this weekly is that it makes me want to immediately binge the rest of the episodes to re-watch. Aside from the ending I have no memory of how the story goes so it's been awesome.

Great episode and great reaction, love how much you enjoying the show and even though i already watched it when it was released but i do wonder how much story will be there to reach 16 episodes 😭 i also love how finally you commented about the soundtrack(song not music) i love this (+most old dramas) soundtracks so much , all the songs are bangers

Aria Isara

I'm only in the beginning of the episode but I have to mention MQ rage baiting Oak about which couple is end game 🤣🤣🤣 Never change MQ I love it when you annoy Oak lol 🤭

Chrystal O'Brien

Love that you guys are enjoying this show. It’s my favorite K-drama that I have ever watched❤️❤️❤️

Coming back here for oak, it’s a shame they don’t translate the songs but it ADDS so much to the scenes we see in these episodes The lyrics/chorus (if you guys wanted to know) that always play during the romantic scenes are “My heart moves myself just to walk along the road, but I'm here again before you. My terrified heart has white snow now, So I'm still, I'm here and I'll be there. Leaning on your warm shoulder, I can feel you again. I'm still and I'm here, and I will have you like this though. Even if we push back each other, That makes me engrave your heart more deeply. Here or there, or even under different sky, I will remember your heart. and I'm still, I'm here. My confused heart has you again, So I'm still, I'm here and I'll be there. Getting through this frozen road, wow~ I finally have you again like this.”

Mina

Oak is right. That song is a banger, and it was my most listened to song that year

PLMB

Love that you are going to use "Division 11" xD

Mari

I'm waiting for Kingdom but seeing Kim Jung-hyun here now makes me want for the crew to watch Mr Queen next. It's hard to decide.

MQ: “Could you imagine the twist in the story? That would be something, wouldn’t it, Oak?” Oak looks at him judgmentally: “What twist?” MQ: “If Captain Ri and Dan actually did end up together.” Oak looks at him with even more judgment too stunned to speak. I loved that interaction 😅 It reminded me of their bickering in the Bridgerton reactions! 16:19 “It’s gonna be our new thing. What are you doing? Can’t talk about it. Division 11.” — That is a great idea! 30:00 — “He is just an old raccoon” had me rolling on the floor laughing too 😅😅 53:00 Se-ri: “Please take this.” MQ: “Is it gonna be the watch?” Se-ri pulls out the finger heart from her pocket. Everyone: “That got us all.” That was so funny! I also laughed so hard at 55:16 when they showed Captain Ri’s fully pouting face 😅 He was adorable with his lower lip sticking out! “That lousy capitalist heart” was the pinnacle of that scene!

When I watched this drama for the first time and saw the train stop because of the power outage, I was just as shocked as you were. But after the war started in Ukraine in 2022, I experienced power outages myself—long hours without electricity. And nowadays, trains in Ukraine can also stop because of missile and drone attacks, so people sometimes have to get off the train, evacuate, and wait out in the fields or somewhere else for an unknown amount of time 😩😩😩 So rewatching that scene honestly gave me PTSD.

“Of course it’s the end.” — Such a relatable reaction to those cliffhangers that Korean dramas love ending almost every episode with! And Oak saying, “I don’t understand a word this song is saying, but I can tell it’s a banger,” was also so relatable when it comes to Korean OSTs!

Aria Isara

I feel the same way about this being only ep 5 while we really are deep in the story already. And I agree that with a movie we would lose the layers and fun details and we would not be as invested. I love the concept of telling a story in 16 episodes as opposed to a movie. Can't wait for next ep! That cliffhanger was great. It's fun to see the actor playing the king in Mr Queen play this totally different character! Also I love the running joke of "everybody" vs "some" 😂

Seelia

Yes! It's about time you guys watch some normal Kdramas! Y'all started with such dark ones and stayed dark forever! CLOY is one of my favorites! ❤

Mari Vaz

MQ professional rage baiter

Bri

I love how much y'all are enjoying the show! 🫰🏽💕

M

i need yall to watch anything with ji Changwook! that man can act!!!

Helen

There are a lot of product placements in K dramas (don't be surprised by constant meetings at Subway, BBQ Chicken, some sort of coffee brand etc.) so sometimes they will blur out a brand. Also smoking or drugs also get blurred. When there is someone who suddenly gets blacklisted or has a scandal in the media they will blur out that person's entire face too.
