September Poll results (Patreon)

Hello folks! Here are the results from the latest polls.

As we've mentioned before, the YouTube Member and Patreon polls usually produce very similar results. Every once in a while, though, we get a poll where the two groups vote differently.

When that happens, we combine the results using the same 70/30 weighting we've used previously:

Patreon: 70%YouTube Members: 30%

Why are the results weighted? Simply put, Patreon has significantly more members and receives far more votes than YouTube Memberships. If we combined the raw vote totals, the result would essentially become the Patreon poll, and the YouTube Member vote would have very little influence.

Using the 70/30 split allows Patreon to represent the larger voting group while still giving our YouTube Members a meaningful voice in the final result.

We're always open to suggestions on how these polls could be weighted differently or improved in the future. For this poll, however, we used the same 70/30 method we've used previously.
