Avatar: The Last Airbender has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity as of late thanks to its return to Netflix, so I figured now was as good a time as any to draw an eighteen-year-old version of the show's lead waifu, Katara.

I loved the series myself, though I'll admit I had to give it a few episodes before it hooked me. The news that the show is getting remade in live action is a mixed bag for me. Honestly I'd have been happier with an animated reboot with production values more in line with the sequel series, The Legend of Korra. (Production values up until the moment that show quite obviously got its funding pulled that is. But that's another story.) Anyhow I suppose this new version of Airbender is a second chance at introducing the story to people who don't care for cartoons. And let's be honest those people must exist in such a hopeless void of pain and sorrow that we should really throw them what bones we can. XD

So what do you think? Have you seen the show or are you thinking about checking it out for the first time? As always I'd love to hear about it in the comments.

Beautiful pic. Korra and her pals deserve some love, too. And I don't think I will check a live action avatar.

I was a passive fan when it was airing originally. Watched here and there but never really got into it. I should probably watch it now on Netflix. That being said I think Katara, along with Totally Spies and Kim Possible” was one of the first characters I started drawing Rule34 of

I am always a fan of Bush and your art but i always thought toph was best girl

Thanks! And I'm sure I'll at least check out the new show out of morbid curiosity, but I'll save that call for until they've released an actual trailer.

The dick between the legs is an AWESOME shot. A follow up or another avatar pinup with an internal shot would be on a new level!

Reinbach

Maybe I'll draw her someday too! I thought she looked cool as an adult in the Korra flashback scenes.

Reinbach

Glad you like the between the legs look! I thought it would be a fun way to mix up all the penetration shots i do. :)

Great Job! Toph and Bei Fong please 😁

Great render of Katara, she looks pretty damn hot as a 18 year old. A friend of mine said I should check out what is playing on Netflix, and I still might.

After the dumpster fire that "The Last Airbender" movie was. The saying "Fool me once..." comes to mine.

I remember loving watching TLA when I was younger, and I was super excited to hear it was coming to Netflix, It was actually the thing that got me to resubscribe to Netflix. The storytelling and themes that I didn't fully appreciate when i was younger, I feel like I appreciate it much better now. Also, Sokka's growth and Toph's badassery/humor are def much more appreciated and noticed.

I'm scared at how ACCURATE you got Azula's face... I might have to add her to the rando requests list, lets see who else we have to go with her... Shego, Shego... oh man... under here we have... Shego!

Legend of Korra really didn't stand up to its predecessor, story-wise it was kind of bland and character-wise Korra was kind of a cunt much of the time. But it did give us hot MILFs like Lin Bei Fong, Suyin, and Kia.

WarSapphire

Looks like Katara is in for a Fire Nation gangbang, always liked how she looked in red. Love seeing the Azula image you did years ago, perfect mix of crazy and sexy. :3

Man please do more avatar stuff. There's not enough good stuff out there.

Damn, quality work as always. As for a live-action series, I don't really want another one, mostly because I don't think The Last Airbender is a story that works as well in live-action. Animation lends itself better to more fantastic settings, and trying to do live action will always look awkward. Plus I don't like the mindset of "A Live Action version is inherently Higher Art than an animated version" which is basically just snobbery.

Reinbach

For sure! It's pretty good as far as I remember. I may be due to watch it again myself. XD

Reinbach

Yeah, at least they have a template for how NOT to do it in live action lol.

Reinbach

I really did like the presentation on Korra myself. I feel like it was the last big budget hand-painted looking show as of this writing.

Reinbach

I'm just scared that something reliant on a sequential complete story is landing on Netflix of all places lol. How much you want to bet it gets cancelled before we get to Azula? XD
