I originally wrote the intro at the top of the comic to read "Nicnak likes a paddy wack" but Matt said that didn't make sense? I think it does! Paddy wack, like a whack on the butt (paddy), right??

I'm with Matt, I'm afraid. Like I'd get the reference to the nursery rhyme, but paddy for butt isn't something I've ever come across...to be honest the first thing "Paddy" makes me think of is "Irish", so "likes a paddy whack" kind of comes across as "likes hitting Irish people".

There's no way anyone saw the name "Nicnak" and didn't finish it with "paddy-whack." I don't believe it's possible. (Btw, your Instagram teaser got me on this one! I don't always check the guest strips, but that was a great teaser!)

Matt didn't make the connection between Paddy and Irish People (Or, at least, he didn't say so to me), but I totally see where you're coming from and agree that it was for the best that I did not go with my first draft of the introduction text for the comic U_U
