WIP | Update 5.0 — New Cutscenes

Hello everyone, this is NINEHECTARE! It's been a while — thank you for your patience!

Between moving offices, switching equipment, and some personal matters, the cutscene update has taken much longer than we hoped. But we know you're more interested in what's coming than in our personal updates — so let's get into it!

■ First Look: 2 of 4 Cutscenes Now Available

We're sharing an early preview of 2 out of the 4 upcoming cutscenes!

These are the scenes set immediately after your first encounter with Mei.

The uncensored versions are available exclusively for members in the post below!

We'll be sharing the full production process in a separate post very soon~!

■ What's Coming in Update 5.0

One piece of feedback we've received consistently is that it takes too long to reach the first romance after starting the game.

We hear you — and we're addressing it directly.

Starting with Update 5.0, our focus will be on:

▶ Early questline improvements

Reworking the opening quest flow so players reach romance content faster and more naturally.

▶ Additional cutscenes

More cutscenes will be added throughout the early game experience.

▶ UX overhaul & Nintendo Switch support

A broader UX redesign is also planned for 5.0, along with convenience updates related to the Nintendo Switch version.

We're still in the early stages of collaboration with our publisher, but we're confident we'll have something exciting to show you soon!!

■ What to Expect Next

This post is part survival check-in, part work-in-progress preview — but here's what's coming over the next two weeks:

Next week → Full production process breakdown

The week after → Completed illustration preview

Thank you so much for your continued support. It means everything to us~!!
