I completely rethought Kariom’s haircut—every version in my previous attempts felt too messy or just frustrating to draw. Now it finally clicks!

Also, portraits of young Ragneda—I especially love the second sketch, where her hair frames her face, highlighting her cheekbones. Then Ragneda and her small apprentice, wide-eyed as they watch a smoke-snake take shape.
