A Rare Frolic (Patreon)

Oreo doesn't do the "dog frolics on their back" thing very much. He barely did it at all before his surgery back in late 2017. Now he will do it every so often, so when it happens, Meg and I make the most of it. This time was maybe the most playful he'd been, batting affectionately at our fingers/hands when we went to scritch him.

Our lives have far more groans and whines and picking up of dog droppings now, but we also have more smiles, more happy skittering sounds, and the loving watchful eye of a not at all fierce but very loyal hound.
