Final Girl. Alien is a Final Girl story archetype. And I think not only is Krishna a fly on the wall but also the sheep eye monster.

Another very good episode. Not as dynamic as the last episode but it does a good job ratcheting up tension and raising the stakes. “Fuck that guy!” Yup, Kavelier has gone full blown Lex Luthor. He passed the moral event horizon at full speed. I fell kinda bad for Slightly. He made a bad choice but, as a “child” he’s obiously not emotionally equipped to deal with the levels of manipulation he’s being subjected to. Wendy/Marcy, on the other hand is clearly coming into her own and developing an amount of agency that seems poised to throw Prodigy’s plans into chaos. I definitely see her turning on Prodigy and Kavalier in particular. As for Prodigy rushing things and choosing the memory wipe over therapy, I think, if I’m following this correctly, that bald corporate executive dude is under order to have the kids ready for a presentation before the heads of all five corps in like a week or two. which… makes the timing of what’s coming up critical. Kav is heading back to the isle. According to the protocol he cited he had 2 weeks to get what he can out of the alien specimens. It’s all going to come to a head at once it seems. Question is, can Joe and Wendy escape in time. Will Wendy even be willing to attempt it? Without the rest of the kids? Leaving behind the Alien? Eyeballsheep continues to creep me out. Sure it’s in a harmless body, but I’ve seen sheep in person a few times. They are spectacularly stupid creatures. Having one coldly, calculatingly following people with its eyes is unsettling. I like you explanation of the title too Bunny! 😊 I like that Kirsh feels like a “wildcard” I don’t know if he’s my favorite character but he’s fascinating. Very minor nitpick: “Well, they’re living creatures so technically they belong to no one” Since when? Humans have been claiming ownership of other living creatures for all of history. And finally:”Does he know Toodles just got jizzed all over?” 🤣🤣
