Cosplay, yay! 😘 David, David, David…. you NEVER ask a woman her age, ESPECIALLY if she’s older than you! I do think Pilar is dead. I’m guessing the hand twitch is just implants firing but who knows? This was a more character development heavy episode. The entire first half is basically an extended training montage, but is skillfully kept fresh and snappy with the quick cuts to Maine and other bits of the stuff going on around David. The bit with the syberpsycho took me totally by sipurprise. I like how it emphasizes that this is a dangerous city where you can never let your guard down. Also very trippy and disturbing. The romantic bit was very well done with some nice symbolism with the rocket. I agree that it’s nice that they didn’t draw things out too long with David and Lucy, but it does make me worry that they are setting us up for some tragedy. I’m fully invested in our two main characters now and the rest of the crew are cool too. Fun show.
