Holy crap, I did not see that coming with Kiwi, though it makes sense in retrospect. I think for her it’s entirely pragmatic thing. I’m guessing when she saw David start loosing it she saw the crew as a “sinking ship” and is preemptively getting out while she can. The thing with the cyberskeleton intrigues me. I dunno what it is ( I don’t remember anything called that from the TTRPG day but that was decades ago). I have a theory tying it all together but I’ll refrain from posting it. I only watch these as you release your reactions Bunny but if I turn out to be right I don’t want you to think I was dropping spoilers 😁 Great stuff though, and fun reaction as always!

Oh, no worries about spoilers! I already finished the show myself. There are two episodes left!

Ah. Well, my general thought? David’s Mom somehow put the cyberskeleton into David, which is what is lets him handle the Sandevistan so well (they are meant to be a “matched set”, so to speak) Tanaka was one of the few who who knew, until Lucy discovered it in her deep dive. Her whole “secret mission” has been to erase all traces of that very info from the net to protect David.
