As a people pleaser, I have accepted several game voting submissions that I didn't really want to accept. Over time, it has become a source of stress and annoyance for me and I finally decided to veto some votes that didn't fit my criteria of something that I would want to play.This all started when someone wanted to vote for a playthrough of Resident Evil 2, but the other character path that I didn't do originally. I did Claire A Leon B, and this vote was for a Leon A Claire B run. I really enjoyed RE2 and it had been a while since I played it, and this was something I could do easily with the base game I already owned, so I accepted the vote. I guess other people saw that I accepted it, and they started voting for different ways to play older RE games as well. I accepted those also because I felt like if I said yes to one, I needed to say yes to all.I actually DON'T want to replay games with mods or different versions or anything like that.I want to play games I've never played before, not retread the same ground but with some differences. In some rare cases I do, like when I replayed Shadow of the Colossus when the remake came out, but generally speaking I just don't.I will still allow the Resident Evil 2 Leon A Claire B votes, with the caveat that I will use the base game I already own and not any mods.I will not be allowing any other Resident Evil votes and there are a few others I am going to veto.
