So, Violet Evergarden is an anime with 13 episodes, 1 special (little longer than a typical episode), and 2 movies (first movie is around the length of 4 episodes, while the second movie is around the length of 6 episodes). I will be requesting this anime again for June as well (and onward) until we're done with, well, if you're ok with that. I wanted to see how you liked it, which, I'm glad you liked it. This anime is visually stunning with a great soundtrack and score, as well as a wonderful story, and, of course, EMOTIONAL DAMAGE, which you got a small taste of so far. So, as mentioned in the 2nd episode, the inventor of the typewriter made the device for his wife who was losing her sight. The typewriter is also called the auto memory doll, which is also the name used for the people (mostly women), and the service designed to write letters for clients who can't write themselves. Episode 4 was the one that convinced me this show is special! The fact that both Iris and Violet were named after the flowers and how all that was tied together has me all misty-eyed every time I watch this show! It sounds like this was a hit during the stream, so I'll definitely request this again for June. It'll be the special (takes place between episodes 4 and 5) and episodes 5-7 all in one video. Be ready for more wholesomeness and, of course, EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!
