And just like that….it’s a wrap.

Volume 9 is in the books and WOW…what a finale. I can’t believe 10 weeks flew by that fast! But this is definitely in my top three favorite volumes of the show!

They did their thing!

I don’t know what more needs to be said at this point but wow… Volume 10 is somewhere along the horizon, and hopefully sometime this year.

In the meantime, there are some videos I would like to react to, and I’m pretty excited for them. Also, the merch is being finalized and I can’t wait to start production on that.

April was crazy… And we’re only going to continue it and level up!

Thank you all so much for joining me on this journey and I can’t wait for the next chapter 🖤

I definitely wouldn't expect Vol 10 to happen this year. It hasn't been greenlit yet (at least not publicly) which means not a lot of work has likely been done for it aside from the general outline and some of the script. Expect an announcement in July tho, that's when RTX happens

I don’t need to point out this ending is something WB can use to close the series on…. Let’s all hope that it doesn’t happen. I have seen many endings like this from anime that do it because the next season is unsure..

My reaches lol… Alex is Neo or juniper Little is just little no one else Summers mission some how took her to the ever after The tree is not just the ever after the tree is the center point for all of reality and existence this is why we see souls passing through and what looks like huntsmen in the form of weapons in eternal sleep ? ? Oz did confirm an after life of sorts There is a time skip of at least a little bit back on remnant we see amity is turned into a mega cruiser possibly restore in world coms. We also see a joint fleet from every kingdom above and the city is a fortress possibly the last stand of humanity. Any longer of a time skip would not make sense Salem is on a role and wouldn’t let up like that unless they found a way to delay her

Kinda upset that it was Summer all along, and I'm also upset Ruby didn't Ascend. I understand the importance of her learning to be herself rather than trying to live up to her childhood perception of her mother, but the theme of Ascension was pushed onto her a LOT. Of course, I still liked what we got, and let's just say my headcanon of Raven being part of Summer's final mission was confirmed. Which also means that Raven's negative comment about Summer in V5 was an act. She taught Yang earlier in that volume to question everything, and it's safe to assume she meant to also question the thinfs she was saying. And if she was putting on an act about how she felt about Summer, it's safe to assume that not only volumes 4 and 5, but also here in this chapter, she's not revealing why she never came back to Yang.

Also I just wanna mention that there are ships from Atlas, Mistral, *and* Vale in that final shot Ruby's message to the world was heard and it paid off 😭

First off, welcome to the hiatus. We've somehow already created Yactus. Second, Somewhat has a hood and a cape. Possibly based on the girl they spent the most time with? :) Also, that was Atlus AND Mistral ships in the sky, which means Ruby's plan actually did work! Also, Amity is there too!

Good to see Jaune is back to being young again he may have his youth once more but the years and experience of the Ever After are still with him you can tell cause he still has white streaks in his hair even though he's young again, I'm really happy my boy didn't die or get stuck in the Ever After forever, though I nearly had a heart attack when the Cat completely down his Aura but he was still fine whew, now that Jaune and Team RWBY are back in Remnant right outside the City of Vacuo they can finally reunite back with the rest of the gang and meet the Headmaster of Shade Academy Professor Theodore, god I can't wait for Volume 10, anyway this has been a wonderful journey to experience again Ghost and I can't wait for you to be there with the rest of us when the next Volume drops anyway take care mate and remember Keep Moving Forward.

They better have Volume 10!!! I miss my JNPR or now it’s called ORNJ (Oscar, ren, Nora and Jaune)!! I love the blacksmith when she answered Ruby’s question of not where but when. I’m hoping a small time skip maybe to where Oscar is a little bit more older and therefore my Ruby will start like like him!!! Rosegarden all the way!!!! I also need to know more about Summer’s last mission and what Raven knows!!!! Don’t leave me hanging CRWBY!! I’ve been invested in this show since Volume 1 when Volume 3 came out!!! Finish the series with either Volume 12 or 14!!! I love your reactions ghost!!! Keep up the good work!!! Maybe do some rwby ice queendom or fruits basket, a family cursed to transform into the 12 zodiac animals. You talk about emotional torment with growth.

I can't believe volume 9 is over already! This volume was such a phenomenal ride with such a powerful message behind it. Being yourself is simply enough‼️ CRWBY are amazing and I hope that V10 is greenlit soon because they deserve to have their story finish especially since it's been running for 10 years. We finally have a model AND voice of Summer Rose now, we are getting some STRQ backstory and I hope CRWBY are able to tell it in the future! The animation, the writing and the music really outsold this volume Enough said, I've loved all your reactions from volume 1 - 9 watching ur reactions have been absolutely amazing & I love how much you love this show as well as I do. I'm glad RWBY helped me find your channel Keep moving forward🌹

I binged volume 9 today since the finale was released today. I was very surprised to see an older Jaune and I'm just slightly disappointed that he's back to his younger self. I enjoyed this volume, although I do think it took a while to get going (it didn't really grab my attention until halfway through the volume). I thought this finale was quite good. I will say that this volume felt rushed since it only had 10 episodes. Would like to see more backstory on Summer Rose and the rest of Team STRQ if volume 10 gets greenlit. We're definitely not going to get volume 10 this year. Might not even get it next year. Anyways, I always enjoy your reactions Ghoxt

I'm sorry for whoever reads this, It sounds like the ramblings of a mad man. I think my favorite thing about the Volume is seeing how Somewhat grew. They really were like a curious toddler, questioning everything and learning. Then, when they ascend, they seemed closer to Ruby's age when Summer left. I also loved Somewhats own version of the hood and cape. It was super cute. Then, the whole parallels between Summer and Ruby. Ruby followed in her mothers footsteps. Both of them having/taking in a little one, influencing them and putting them on their path then having to leave. If we never return to the Ever After, I would love a Ever After side series, with full script or like World of Remnant. I would love to see Somewhats continued ascend. See what they continue to become. I would really love if we returned to the Ever After towards the end of the show as a whole, and see Somewhat closer to Rubys age when she entered Beacon. See if they are like their own little Huntsman/Huntress. Which, would be an amazing ending if Ruby retired to Ever After to train Somewhat. Coming back when Summer didn't.

What an amazing volume. All the haters and naysayers can be tragic and sip their haterade and miss out on this much needed interlude. I'm glad Ruby chose herself in the end. At first I thought her turnaround was too quick, but on second watch it makes perfect sense. She never wanted to leave herself behind, she wanted to believe she was enough, but she convinced herself she was wrong. And when the blacksmith couldn't offer her validation (as that isn't their job), her mother's words reminded her that she's enough. Her mother had similar doubts, and yet Ruby idolized her. That said all it needed to. And on top of that we finally got to see Ruby pop off the way she did in the red trailer. It's been so long since best girl actually won a fight. You love to see it. Animation was top notch too. And Neo realizing her struggle was internal, protecting Ruby and what her team has together because she no longer has that for herself, that's beautiful and tragic, even though Neo was absolutely a terrible person. I'd be fine with this being her exit. Honestly, I never knew why people called her the best character in the first place, she was originally just meant to be a set piece for Roman but people went wild over her. She's cool for sure, she's got evil charisma, but "best girl" always felt too generous for a character with basically two modes (smirk and murder) whose conflict was essentially built on a misunderstanding. All that to say, if this is where her story ends, it's a lovely way to close it and I won't be terribly upset. I still think the opportunity is there for her to find her way back to Remnant though, if the writers will it. I do wonder when the next volume will take place. Obviously there's a little bit of a time skip, I just hope it wasn't too long. Maybe a few weeks? I'm kind of scared though because it seems like the show is building to a final battle. All four nations are present in Vacuo in that final shot, and almost all of the characters we've come to know, including team CFVY and Vytal Festival folks are together in one place. That is the makings of a last stand right there. Final season feelings. I REEAAALLY hope we've got more than one season on the horizon, after watching since day one I am not ready for this show to end! Anywho, wonderful volume, and entertaining reactions as always! Now we wait. :(

i think the portal Raven opened was probably to someone at the Branwen camp; we know she had Vernal by the time of volume 5 but she presumably had someone back then too, otherwise any time she felt like going back to Patch to check on Yang she would've had to go the long way back

I saw some people doubt that Alyx became the Blacksmith, but the fixing things is what Alyx's wish was, AND the colours on Alyx's belt were the same as in the Blacksmiths hair, so I'm convinced. Someone told me that the Amity Colliseum is there, but that the ships in the sky are Mistral and Vale designs, so thers a lot of unity going on

I'm willing to bet Volume 10 has been greenlit CRWBY is just under an NDA from Crunchyroll which prevents them from talking about it until RTX. The way certain members of CRWBY including Kerry, Keirsi and Eddy are talking on Twitter indicates that, at least to me.

God I loved this episode and I think vol 9 is my current fav vol second being vol 6 and then third and fourth is vol 8 and vol 7, then vol 3, then vol 5, then vol 4, vol 2, and then vol 1, I hope they greenlite rwby vol 10 ASAP Somewhat is so adorable and watching them grow and change throught less the 10 episodes was still amazing I hope somewhat and Juniper have plenty of adventures of their own. Ruby is ruby and I love it would I have preferred a few maybe outfit changes or something for fun absolutely but I also love the message they went for maybe she'll still get an outfit change it vacuo 🤷‍♀️. This journey was long awaited but sadly it got over too quickly. Until later ✌🏼have a good day/night whenever you read this.
