I've been thinking about the next project after GGGB for a while now, and I want some input from you guys. Of the following, which aspect of the game do you enjoy the most, or think it's most important in GGGB and you would like to see in the next game, too?

(Please choose 3 options maximum!)

All of the above? :) For me, the biggest thing that made me love the game was the choices and the huge difference they made on the story. It must be a nightmare to write and develop but if you can do something like GGGB for your next game it would be incredible. Second to that would be a female lead, there are far fewer female lead games, compared to males, but only a handful of them are well written and feel (within the confines of sexual fantasy) like the character is female. Corruption is a given though ;)

To choose only three was difficult.

One thing about the cosmetic modifications, while I liked that you could change Ashley's look in the game, I wasn't a fan of some of the progression changes (like the final Bimbo look), so if you could make them always optional that would be ideal, although obviously it would make it harder to do!

There was one major aspect I enjoyed the most and missing from the list - the unique hand drawn graphics. That's what sets it apart from the other games for me.

The most important parts, for me, are the female main character and the overall story mechanics together with the corruption/cheating theme. Having all the different choices makes GGGB unique and by far the best adult game out there. The character customization is an important part too since it makes you feel like the character is your own. Having lesbian choices and meeting people of different colors are important, but they kinda fall under the choices category. And it have to be said: having a well written adult game with a female main character with a fairly vanilla theme is great! Making a game with similar themes wouldn't be a problem either. There's a lot of different scenarios to play out (just see how many different romance themed novels there are available in the same theme, but they have different stories and feel very different).

Definetly the Female MC. I'm a gay guy and I can relate more to a Female "dating" guys than to a straight guy humping all girls he can find. I just don't like too many vaginas in these kind of games(obviously lol). Though I really enjoy the girls in your game. They have a lot more story and depth to them than the other "straight male mc" games.

Choices and the follow-trough of those decisions

Voted for character depth and story development, choices mechanics and corruption/cheating. In GGGB we see how our choices really impact the story and the characters. There is a lot of choices and they don't seem useless. Most of them have an impact in the story and characters. The corruption/cheating is also linked to the characters and our choices. Unfaithful female characters are my favorite kind of character, so it's no wonder I loved this aspect as well.

This game definitely has one of the most well written storylines in any adult game, and the choices actually matter, which is huge. I love feeling like I can actually shape the main characters story and personally, even on the "slut" route there are so many different variations which keeps it interesting for many playthroughs. I also always love a good female mc, I think it's more interesting when you get to shape the character from the first person rather than corrupting a bunch of girls as a guy mc. The opportunity to shape the other girls personalities as well and go for the g/g route is amazing, not enough adult games give you the option to do that, usually the game is either all straight or all gay by default, with little variation.

Another huge selling point for this game to my personally is how many kinks are available, I love when I have as many fetish options available to me as possible.

I will point out something that isn't in the poll: your writing, specially during sex scenes. Most of the games out there don't focus on the writing of sex scenes, just putting out there moans and bad dialogue porn movies dialogues. You actually put in work to describe the scene, how Ashley is feeling at the moment, how she compares the act to previous ones, etc. That is just amazing. It adds to the whole arousing environment of the sex scenes. I love that you actually explore the cheating aspect when it happens. A lot of games make characters cheat, but in those scenes there is no mention to it, to if the character is in a relationship or single, there is no difference. In GGGB there is, which I really appreciate. If I just wanted to see the sex scene, without caring for the writing, I'd just watch a porn movie.

Female main character x100! This is one of the very few adult games with a realistic female protagonist.

It doesn't come as a surprise that "romance" isn't the top choice from fans of a game called Good Girl Gone Bad, but the parts with romance shouldn't really be underestimated. The ability to mix good and bad points creates lots of interesting options. Breaking up with Ashley's boyfriend and then going out with either Dave or Eva, or softening the alpha male Jack up requires some choices that aren't strictly bad/good, so cutting them out (or similar mechanics) would be a pretty severe impediment in a future game, I think. And while it isn't my absolute favourite path, getting Good Ashley together with Good Jessica is very pleasant, which I wouldn't expect out of playing a game named Good Girl Gone Bad.

The story and choices are what make this game really exceptional, particular fetishes or themes will naturally appeal to some more than others.

I chose character depth & story development, female main character, and corruption/cheating but I think all the qualities listed on top of the art design are important building blocks for the parts I do enjoy the most. At first, I avoided this game due to the art style but I kept hearing good things about it so I finally decided to check it out and the art style didn't really bother me after I finally played it. Next, the choices in this game actually matter and feel like they matter. So many other games, even AAA ones have choices that feel redundant and don't build on anything but all the choices in this game are reflected in the relationships of characters, looks of characters, and lead to a chain of later events. The cheating and corruption would be meaningless if there wasn't a sense of romance that you could also have being a "good" girl. So many female corruption games just end up having a naive girl go through the entire corruption process without any sense of blowback or a gradual buildup but the writing in GGGB actually makes Ash feel like a legit character with some brains and all the choices have a sense of consequence.

There aren't very many adult games on here that feature a female MC. Even fewer that are actually good.

I chose character depth and story development, choices mechanic and corruption, because I believe those make up the core of this visual novel. If the characters were not developed we'd feel no stake in what happens to them next; if the choices didn't matter, it's be like reading a book with you can get invested, but the outcome is already predetermined; and we all were interested in the corruption, seeing a once virtuous character change to have more ambiguous beliefs at the least. Whether through outside influences or naive curiosity guiding the protagonist to seek things that are not in line normal beliefs. In GGGB, it does that the best it can do utilizing family problems, drugs, liquor and blackmail. The important thing is that it is still all decided on choice. You can only get into those situations if you choose to do so.

I have to say, the poll choices seems to be a bit overlapping. Eg. Corruption and story development. Basically the whole story development of "good girl gone bad" is corruption. In the other hand, corruption and cheating can be separated. I myself is a bit against the cheating , but totally welcome the corruption.

Breadloaf

While lesbian options and people of colour isn't a main draw and the game would work without them, they are important features for the added choices, but also for financial viability. Seeing people who look like you usually makes you more interested in a project, and there are a lot of people in the world who aren't white.

I feel like putting "Interracial" and having it get last place in the poll is misleading. No issues with it at all, please, put in black characters. But it's always weird and offputting when it's put out there as a major theme, because people love to make massively, bizarrely racist IR content. I get that fetishes are fetishes and people like what they like, but that stuff makes me squeamish. As long as you don't do that, you're golden. Also, you're great at writing g/g content and I'd be extremely into bringing that back.

Honestly, it’s difficult to choose only three options, because many of them intertwine, and they all play an important role in making GGGB as good as it is. With that being said, though, I chose cosmetic modification, corruption and character development. As I’ve said many times before, cosmetic modification is what I consider the biggest USP of the game. I have yet to come across any other game with the amount of style options that are in GGGB, and without them, I feel the game would lose a bit of its uniqueness. Corruption is also part of what makes the game so enjoyable. In other, similar themed games, it feels like you have to wait half the game to see a left tit, but in GGGB, there are so many deep and perverted paths you can go down, which makes the game a lot more fun to play. Tying together with this, character development is important, to really hammer in the corruption that has taken place, and make it feel like you character is different than in the beginning (something that cosmetic modification also contributes to). But as I said in the beginning, it’s difficult to chose only three options. For example, the choice mechanics are also integral to GGGB, allowing you to fully take control over your journey. The game would also not be nearly the same if the protagonist was male. And if the game did not contain lesbian, interracial or romance, it would lose its diversity. Therefore, everything plays a role in making GGGB a great game. It would be a step backwards to make a new game with a similar theme and not include the things that made this one so awesome. Cosmetic modification, corruption, character development, female protagonist and choice mechanics are the ones I feel though MUST return in a new game.

Moral corruption by Arthur was the best aspect of your game, from my personal take!

you've done a good job on keeping things moving and releasing content, most games i see in development hit a hiccup of sorts at some point.
