The Alpha was a very stable version, so this Beta shouldn't have any bugs. The proofreading is still pending though, so don't fret too much about typos and misspellings yet!

The reception for the Alpha was pretty good and I think you'll enjoy this first release. Bear in mind this is the start of the story and now's the time to set up the characters, their positions in the world and so on, so please don't expect the same level of customisation as in the 20th update for GGGB just now! I do want to hear your thoughts and opinions on the starting point for the new characters and mechanics, though!

What do you think about the new presentation? Graphics, UI, displayables...?

What do you think about the new game mechanics and gameplay?

Do you like the more in depth writing and characters?

And most importantly,  how do you feel about out two new leads? Have I've done good job writing from a male perspective?

Let me know in the comments, as well as report any bug you might come across. I hope you enjoy this first chapter and are left excited for what's to come. Thanks for your support and faith in my project!

This is way leaps better than GGGB. The artstyle is higher quality, both the characters and the BG looks great. I also love the new UI. It's cleaner; more refined. I know that you want to work carefully with this one, but I also want you to speed things up. Can't wait to play this in full.

The game looks very promising. The art, backgrounds, UI are great (although lower right menu could be more visible). Also bright smile of Lena seems little off. I can't explain it but there is something that doesn't look right. There are few spelling mistakes (i.e. when Holly and Ian visit cafe, Lena thinks she is HER sister - like Ian was a girl). It seems that Ian has a lot more options than Lena. I know that this is the beginning but I hope that it isn't representative of the whole game. Sounds and music is great (love Lola's purrrrrring ;). I loved that little cameo! :D

I'm a bit torn on the first part, although leaning a lot on the positive side. I really loved the new art all around and the game mechanic. The skill system feels intuitive and the way it allows for choices is well executed. The characters and their dynamics so far feel largely distinct, which is a really impressive achievement considering how many of them were introduced here. Finally I really liked the lunch choice as I thought it was a clever example how the chocies by one MC will influence the story of the other.

I, for one, enjoyed it. Just do what you think is best in your vision. You can never please everyone.

good first start but like most of the posts above, it does feel more.. ian's story rather than lena's.. throughtout the starter week lena could have had holly enter the cafe *edit* dammit holly does go to the cafe if you blow off alison (sorry i love holly and i want her with lena.. either that or lena/cindy, cindy reminds me of a blonder version of my ex) or various other people so both Mc's have a fair shot at different people introduced. as for the both mc's i do see the game at this point, they are tied together as much as i want lena to alternate and go for some ladies (holly and cindy, even louise) it doesn't feel like it so far, ian getting shocked at the end or lena thinking ian is cute at the cafe etc etc, i wanted to make a choice at that juncture to change lena/ians view or making ian slightly shift into thinking perry needs some loving (not that i'd choose it but the option too, plus his stuttering is endearing) aslo explaining more on ian's side i do see the subtle shift cindy and holly and also alison all seem to gravitate towards ian, not sure if thats down to my choices (yes im trying for lena to have holly or cindy) just seems more story related to ian than lena at this early start hopefully next update will see how more of it goes but.. i am invested dammit lol holly is so beautiful as is cindy..
