Hey everyone! After finishing Loki season 1, should I jump straight into season 2? Or should I wait & watch Shang-Chi first before watching season 2?

What comes next? What’s the correct way to watch things? I can’t find a definitive answer anywhere… 🙏🏼😭

Comments

Rainbow Squad

Loki!!!!! Season one was fire!!!!

Matt

You don’t touch season 2 for a good while, let’s put it that way

Lassi

Loki season 2 once you still have the season 1 in recent memory

Turqx

Definitely Shang-chi, season 2 is great but build that suspense for it for sureeeee

T1SH

Watch the thunderbolts you’re gonna LOVE IT BRO TRUST!!

Turqx

Also Shang-shi is a greattt movie.

SilentW197

Season 2 covers info from multiverse of madness and antman quantumania so definitely watch those first

Misty Moore

Straight jump into season 2 Shang-chi have no connection to Loki it’s just start of a new phase

Miya Atsumu

u def had to jump to season 2

Matt

Yes indeed. Season 2 is in the entirely next phase

Camden Falink

Def season 2 of Loki, but it wouldn’t hurt to watch Shang Chi and then that, either order works, don’t listen to anyone who says to wait to watch Loki season 2 it doesn’t spoil anything else and you would appreciate it more since you just finished season 1, it just completes the story

jakobe

shang chi comes next in release but season 2 of loki doesn’t have anything in it where u need to watch the movies in this phase before it

Cydney Godsey

You’re going to love both. But my vote is season 2 Loki so it’s still fresh!

Turqx

Need multiverse of madness first, maybe even Deadpool too

Marshall Wright

Jump into the X-Men and Wolverine movies before you keep watching the MCU movies! There’s lore you need to know!

Acetn559

Save season 2. Continue watching in release order!

Isaac Long

Shang chi! Then Loki season 2

KingWoolz

LMAO thanks for the help man 🤌🏼

jakobe

already saw it

Camden Falink

He doesn’t have to do something like a season 1 and 2 in release order if it doesn’t spoil anything that doesn’t really make sense

V

he already watched it without us

Misty Moore

Oh yea and what if i believe

alexa marie

i was thinking just jump into s2 because his character growth you were talking about gets even better and you might actually be able to form an opinion of the guy🤣

Chase Speelman

Season 2 man. It both explains everything and questions everything you know. It’s a wild ride but very important for moving forward

Lassi

You don’t need to watch anything in advance for Loki season 2

Marek

Falcon and the Winter Soldier and honestly just watch by release date after that. If you start jumping around too much it’ll just get confusing

jakobe

deadpool isn’t needed at all

Teddy Smith

Been waiting on that for a minute lmao 😂😂😂

UbixQ

I just really want to see season 2 like asap but realistically you should watch the movies in between, at least the ones that are in relation to the multiverse stuff i think doctor strange and the ant man?? I guess its your choise afterall

Jamal Sadek

Definitely hold off season 2 for a little bit. Watch Shang chi and Spider man No Way Home

NITEWIN6

NO SPOILERS Watch Shang-Chi next! Don't watch Loki Season 2 until after Ant-Man and Wasp Quantumania. I'll just say that movie has a connection to Loki and if you watch Loki Season 2, then there's almost no point in watching Quantumania at all.

Allen Benedict

Season 2, Agatha All Along (because it goes along with Wanda Vision, but I'm also just bias about series. 😆,) then Shang-chi, and then horror movies again! 😂

jakobe

on a plane lmao not patreon

Emanuel Luiz

Guys, he needs to watch Doc Strange 2 first, i think he'll be confused watching Season 2 already... and even Quantumania too

Xerion77

I know it has nothing to do with youre question but please react to Arcane🙏🏻

Dominic Answer

Watch season 2 and then watch Spiderman No way Home!

Bethany Rayleene

What If....? Season 1 will go more into the multiverse fallout. Following that show you want to move to Wandavision then Shang-Chi and then falcon and winter soldier (which you have already seen) then Spider man far from home then Eternals the Spiderman no way home the Dr strange multiverse of madness then Loki season 2! This is true MCU timeline order.

Welsh Wonderman

For me, I'd jump straight back on the Loki Bandwagon and carry on!

Siteheonteo z이지금

movie time! shang chi all the way till before quantumania then loki s2. Eternal is my personal fav hope somehow they return sneakily.

Arda Uzsüren

Might as well just finish the whole series so I suggest you watch season two right away

Rodney

Continue loki, heres why: Some people are giving you bad information. The events of loki are largely self contained (for now) ant man 3 and Doctor strange 2 have some vague references to events in loki, but there is no DIRECT correlation im pretty sure i saw loki s2 before those 2 movies and absolutely nothing felt out of place or confusing to me, and there was zero like direct references made in either movie, and loki s2 thematically makes sense to watch directly after s1, so personally i would say you should continue loki, considering how the timeline is laid out in disney+, if it was imperative to watch other movies first i think they would have separated them as to not confuse people

NITEWIN6

He already watched Falcon and Winter Soldier off air. He said it in a video.

David Richardson

The entreals doesn’t do much for the avengers or anything really.

Nicholas Hernandez

Damn well he should at least make a video telling us his thoughts and reactions lmao

Jacob Bust

I would probably hold off on Loki unless you really wanted too. I would go: What if…? (That’s a long show so maybe do that on your own time) Shang-chi Eternals Spider-Man: No way home Doctor strange: multiverse of madness Since Loki broke the timeline no way home and multiverse of madness are direct consequence of the multiverse breaking. After season 2: Hawkeye Moon night (peak) Thor: love and thunder Black panther

Nicholas Hernandez

Maybe as someone else had said, start the Fox X-Men films before you continue

Bethany Rayleene

No direct correlation, however, it technically explores the ancient history and connects to the wider universe.

Caren Meth

I don’t think there was anything in Shang-Chi that would be spoiled if you went ahead and finished Loki season 2. I WOULD consider watching the What If… shows on your own time though

NITEWIN6

Yes, he does. If he doesn't watch Quantumania before Loki: Season 2, then there's almost no point in watching it at all.

Marek

Ahhh gotcha

Caren Meth

He already watched WandaVision as well.

NITEWIN6

You don't think he should watch Quantumania before Loki: Season 2 if you were watching in "true timeline order"?

Rodney

I will add, loki s2 does “technically” make a small ant man 3 reference but again, i saw s2 before ant man 3 and it all made perfect sense to me, and when i watched ant man 3 i more or less thought of it as the events happening simultaneously to loki s2, similar to how you watch infinity war THEN ant man 2 with its ending, and you easily infer the teo events took place at the same time.

Caren Meth

He did lol it’s a short video he posted before he posted Loki. I think it was titled “updates”

Shawn Kennedy

Finish off the Dark Knight trilogy, watch whatever is next in the MCU for a bit, then take another break with something else. I'd say keep going in release order for the MCU

Caren Meth

That one’s a whiiiiile down the list lol

Kevin

Falcon & the winter soldier is an underrated one

Seraie19

Yes, you can ABSOLUTELY watch S2 directly after S1 of Loki. It picks up basically right where it left off, and would be a good idea since the things brought up in S1 would still be fresh. There are movies that occurred between the two, but they aren't required viewing, and an argument could be made they'll make more sense after S2. That being said, I'm excited for Shang-Chi too 🤗

NITEWIN6

Quantumania would essentially be spoiled. Many wouldn't say that's a bad thing, but there's almost no point in watching it afterwards if he doesn't watch it before.

Caren Meth

Not necessarily. I just rewatched because of your season 1 reactions lol nothing should feel out of place or be confusing. Though I do think you should continue in release order

alexa marie

guys he has no time to take a break from mcu when doomsday comes out in 9 months 😭😭😭😭 what are you all on abouttttt

NITEWIN6

You really don't think it's necessary to watch Quantumania before Loki Season 2???

Caren Meth

That’s true. With how much he didn’t care for GOTG 2, I’m wondering how he’ll feel about that one 😅

Bethany Rayleene

He certainly could! It wouldn't hurt! It does explains more context of that specific variant of Kang the conqueror.

Pat_Bez

You're not gonna get a definitive answer, so.just go release order (which is my personal opinion)

Jacob Bust

Shoot, my fault I thought i put that in there. Yea definitely watch it before season 2.

Joe Green

He has already watched falcon and winter soldier

Smokey

Not what he asked about

NITEWIN6

How can you not say that there aren't any direct references between Loki: Season 2 and Quantumania??? SPOILERS Kang is setup as the big bad in Quantumania and at the end of Season 2 of Loki they basically say the TVA is going out hunting Kangs and basically putting an end to the Kang story because the MCU changed its course! If Woolz watches Loki Season 2 first then he'll get the ending to the Kang story. If he watches Quantumania after Season 2, then he'll be confused because there will literally be no conclusion to Kang afterwards because no other movie or show will reference him again.

Jason Grandbois

You'll want to watch doctor strange multiverse of madness and Antman and the wasp quantamania first. Antman especially leads into Loki season 2.

Flynetic

Season 2. Lots of the movies in between are buns and aren’t required since Loki is in the TVA and has no time moving all of these movies can be watch after.

AdermGaming

Just watch loki season 2

NITEWIN6

Yeah, but if you watched Quantumania after Loki: Season 2, then wouldn't you find yourself thinking "Kang is coming back with a vengeance and is going to be the big bad"? Watching Loki Season 2 before Quantumania essentially messes with the Kang narrative. If you watch Loki Season 2 before, then there's basically no point in watching Quantumania at all because there will be no payoff.

dubbela07

Release order. Shang chi, then Eternals (kinda skippable but I enjoyed it), then No Way Home!

Rodney

SPOILERS!!!!!! Because marvel didnt cut ties with johnathon majors and kill the kang story until dec 18 2023, loki s2 dropped over 2 months prior and ant man 3 almost a year prior, so both of these were released with the assumption kang would be the big bad in avengers 5, considering they didnt change it from the kang dynasty to doomsday until july 2024, these events all exist in a bubble currently they ultimately do not matter besides loki accent to his new role, that is why it doesnt matter, had j majors not disgraced the kang character, it would matter what order, but it bo longer does, because loki s2 wasnt meant to be the end to kangs character anyway.

NITEWIN6

Remember that Woolz isn't someone who is reading news about the MCU. So he doesn't know about the Jonathan Majors discourse and Feige and Co deciding to go in a different direction which makes it easier to watch out of order. He will only know about the story they're telling on screen in the movies and the shows.

Magus

yea honestly just following release order would be the best way to not have to think too hard about it. but i dont think there was anything continuity breaking if you were to do loki season2. and you can probably skip Ms. Marvel as its a show for teen girls. i enjoyed it but imagine you wouldnt like it all that much. but if youre going to watch the next awful captain marvel movie which is worst than the 1st.... then it might be helpful to know who she is. Also minor spoiler? They are potentially setting up "the young avengers" so if that ever happens it could be a tad important maybe... but you might fall off marvel by the time we get to the end anyway

Aiden Druschel

I would watch Loki while it’s fresh, then get back into movie release order

Rodney

I understand that, but that is the reality, so there is no real payoff regardless, either he goes on assuming kang is simply killed off screen after being set up as a cosmic threat, OR he understands the TVA is hunting kangs, and one of them is killed by ant man, i would argue that since kang story is dead anyway, ant man 3 provides a more satisfying end than loki 2 does. We have to acknowledge these two pieces of content are all that exist for Kang, so we then have to decide which provides a better end, off screen hunting, or a show down in the quantum realm. I understand your viewpoint, but considering we do have the knowledge he doesnt it makes more sense to give him a better end than we got.

NITEWIN6

NO SPOILERS, But once again, if Woolz watches Loki Season 2 now, then there's almost no point in watching Quantumania afterwards.

Dylan

Watch falcon and winter soldier next

Tyler Cynic

He did already just on his own

Matt

So in other words, indeed wait, and simply do it in release order. It is release order for a reason after all

valen

After Loki Season 1 (in release order): Black Widow (2021 movie) — set between Civil War and Infinity War, but released after Loki What If...? Season 1 (2021 animated series) — multiverse stories, directly ties into Loki's multiverse ideas Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) Eternals (2021) Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) — big multiverse impact Hawkeye (2021) Moon Knight (2022) Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) — heavy multiverse fallout from Loki Ms. Marvel (2022) Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022) Werewolf by Night (2022 special) Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022) Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023) — introduces Kang variants Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) Secret Invasion (2023) Loki Season 2 (2023) — direct continuation of Loki S1, major multiverse/TVA developments What If...? Season 2 (2023)

Klaus

Especially when im pretty sure he hasnt seen x men. Thats a whole thing thats gonna take months

Todd Fluharty

Yeah finish dark knight then dive back into Marvel with next one in line... which was Shang Chi I think.

Tyler Cynic

I'd do season 2 while you fresh on other wise If you do release order on it you won't see season 2 till after guardians volume 3

Bradley Aguirre

Just watch season 2 you don’t really need to watch anything before that

Azur3Pan1c

Watching season 2 is fine its not necessarily going to hurt anything because its just continuing after season 1 and does not tie in with any of the movies so watch season 2 then move on

David McDonough

I think in general you’ll be just fine going to S2, it picks right up from S1. That being said, this is the multiverse saga so there are plenty of things you can skip or watch on your own(ms marvel, echo, secret invasion, etc) and things you’ll want to include before others to be less confused (ideally daredevil before Hawkeye and X-men before Deadpool and Wolverine)

Dylan

I didn’t see the videos for it

NITEWIN6

All of those facts aren't exactly accurate, Avengers Kang Dynasty was essentially pulled from the release schedule well before Doomsday was announced in its place. Jonathan Majors was "officially" pulled from the MCU at that point, but already pulled internally well before then. SPOILERS It's not on US to decide what the best storytelling way is. Quantumania doesn't end with a showdown in the Quantum realm, it ends with Scott Lang thinking he made a mistake, leading to a stadium of Kangs, leading to the Loki Season 2 teaser. Kevin Feige is the storyteller here, not us. Storytellers tell things in a specific order for a reason. Quantumania has no ending for the Kang storyline. Loki: Season 2 does even if it is a brief line of dialogue.

_Beau2005_

The best thing to do imo is to just continue to watch it in release order, but since it’s the Multiverse Saga now I would recommend to watch X-Men, the old Fantastic 4 and the Daredevil, Punisher etc shows before some upcoming projects

Glerbish

That’s what “on his own” means

NITEWIN6

My point is that: SPOILERS Quantumania ends with a stadium full of Kangs and Loki Season 2 ends with the TVA hunting down all of the variants of Kangs. Loki Season 2 should probably be watched last to close off the Kang story.

NITEWIN6

So many people are saying this so whatever, I'm done trying to give real reasons for why he shouldn't go straight into Season 2, but I'll just say it once again. There's almost no point in watching Quantumania later if he doesn't watch it before Loki Season 2.

Rodney

Its clear my take isnt going to please you. You are ignoring pertinent facts, but you have your opinion and i have mine, which the majority of these comments seem to agree with, so have a beautiful rest of your Tuesday.

Stephanie

These guys want to load you down LOL. Since you're in a crunch to be caught up for Doomsday release, don't bother with What If, Eternals, Noon Knight, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Punisher, or any other defenders. You'd definitely be more prepared if you spend that time watching the first three X-Men movies.

NITEWIN6

Those pertinent facts aren't exactly accurate. If I wanted to spend the next 30 minutes on google, I can find all of the facts that support what I'm saying, but I don't want to do that. Saying that majority of people are on your side isn't an argument because majority of people were on the side of watching the MCU in storyline order instead of release order, and Woolz literally said "I don't understand why anyone would watch in storyline order instead of release order". In the end, do what you guys want, but mark my words, majority of people will be confused about the storytelling if you watch Loki Season 2 ahead of Quantumania. Quantumania doesn't end with a showdown in the quantum realm. It ends with setting up the Kangs as the big bads. Loki Season 2 is AN ending to that story. Why would Feige have that line in there if it wasn't to provide an ending to the story? Stories are told in a certain order for a reason. People should trust the story tellers for the first time watch order. You can watch it in whatever order you want afterwards.

abe

Bro that's a lot 😭

abe

I think for the movies that are essential to the plot: x-men, guardians of the galaxy 3, no way home, multiverse of madness, and etc. you should fully watch, but the other just watch a summary of them. This way you can use your time more efficiently.

NITEWIN6

CONTINUE IN RELEASE ORDER. You started the MCU in "storyline order" and switched to "release order" and agreed it was the best way to watch them after doing so. Stick with the order that Kevin Feige intended and majority of people watched them in.

Sarevok84

Dark knight rises

valen

Some of it is crap and can be skipped, obviously.. but this list allows to choose what to watch in the correct order.

Isaac Beale

Loki season 2 then x-men. Easy

Jennifer S.

Loki Season 2 then Shang-Chi

Uyen

I second this. Loki S2 is fine to go into. Definitely need to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2, X Men movies, Deadpool movies (Deadpool & Wolverine most important) Thunderbolts, and Fantastic Four movies (skip 2015 cause its the worst) to understand the Multiverse Saga and Dr. Doom's setup

RakT-J37

Shang chi if going by release order

Boerben

Both options—watching Loki Season 2 or continuing with the next movie in release order—work fine story-wise. You might just miss a bit of buildup for Loki if you jump straight into Season 2. The only movie that might really be necessary beforehand is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It also has an end-credit scene that connects to Loki Season 2 and features familiar characters from loki. Tough to explain without spoiling actually.

Jacob Nguyen

Shang Chi is a definite must watch, but it doesn’t really matter if it’s before or after Loki season 2

Toby Young

Bro go right in to Loki season 2 right the high

Anchar

My opinion - finish dune 2 and Nolan Batman before season 2 and shang chi, though I would rate any x men above shang chi, or hit lord of the rings extended edition

jeun james

I don't matter if u watch chang chi or loki s2 the series have no impact on the order of the films

jeun james

You also have to watch the deadpools and x mens my suggestion is to continue with the marvel movies cous doomsday is coming soon and there will be huge amount of spoilers everywhere

jeun james

And the fox marvel movies also before doomsday

Chris

Don't forget Agatha all along, kind of wandavision season 2, sans titular characters

Luke

Seasons 2 or you won't remember the details of what's happening. Both Loki and Shang Chi are pretty isolated in their stories, small details connect but they do not need to be watched in any order. Both seasons of Loki are tight in time and are a lot to process if you aren't familiar with multiversal theory. I highly suggest watching Loki season 2 so you aren't confused about anything when you go back to it

Tony

-Black Widow -What if? Season 1 (not needed, but very cool) -Shang-Chi -Eternals -Hawkeye (arguably skippable, but pretty cool) -(Toby + Andrew spiderman movies for no particular reason) -Spider-Man No Way Home (15/10 peak Marvel) -Moon Knight (skippable, but pretty cool) -Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness -Ms Marvel (skippable, kinda mid overall, but had cool parts) -Thor Love and Thunder (extremely mid) -etc etc You don't get Loki season 2 until after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 technically. List is from digitalspy.com, i just googled "MCU Watch Order Release Order"

Xerion77

I would say because the new spider man film comes out in a few months you should watch the daredevil series first and then the punisher series, because The punisher will be in this movie and maybe watch the Ghost Rider movies this is peak Marvel too

Chris Robson

Season 2 is some of the best sci-fi (not just comic book) in the last 10 years in my opinion.

Cyber

Watching in release order is probably the best. As much as I want to see s2 Loki, there's some Easter eggs in other shows leading up to it. But then again, I think it's SAFE to watch s2 Loki because it doesn't spoil another show except what if s2. So if the information is fresh in his mind. It might be worth sneaking in now

Cyber

Only impact is on what if s2, if I remember

Jerrod Gerein

Watch season 2 of loki so you dont forget anything

Joseph Huerta

I think it’s best to watch in release order!!!! But if you’re feeling the high from Loki (which im sure you are) you should watch ant man quantumania and then season 2 then shang chi!!!

zay_loves_JESUS

I think you should jump back in. I get watching it in release order but season two NEEDS you to remember what happened in season one.

DapperKnight

just do release order we both know what happened last time you didn't *Cough* *Captain Marvel*.

j0-2TiMEZz

Yea bro I don’t get y u ain’t just following the order smh 🤦🏽‍♂️

Adrian Kemp

Give up on Marvel... there's good stuff to watch instead! But if you're sticking with Marvel, it's always best to watch in release order. One of the major reasons they failed so hard is that you have to watch EVERYTHING in order no matter how uninteresting it is.

Tucker Blackard

I think you should watch Shang chi cuz it came out first!😁

NITEWIN6

Noon Knight sounds like a very different character. 🤣

SykFas

For what season 2 will demand you in memory from season 1, I think you should hop on directly with season 1 still fresh in your head. It will be on another level from now, and you don't really have to watch anything more to understand it, both season of Loki are connected, the end of S1 is the beginning of 2 so yeah. I want to watch you through it :eyes:

Shiv Patel

Go for Shang Chi first and then Season 2 I would say. Gives you a better understanding of Season 2.

Patrik Mrtvý

You should go on right away for season 2 while you have s1 fresh on ur mind.

Parker

I’d just watch in release order but just jumping into season 2 isn’t bad and if you want to go for it. Especially with season 1 fresh on your mind you can just do that

Joshua

Watch season 2 it won’t effect any order , then watch Shang chi and continue in order , Loki is the only show w two seasons right now.

BroKobe2404

Shang chi is a fire movie, love the combat scenes. Cant wait :))

Luis Rosiles-Rivera

It's best to watch Ant Man Quantumania before going into S2, even though it's not great.

Basketball Blakey

Watch Shang-Chi or Season 2 honestly they are both great! Also season 2 might get context from ant man quantumania

Adrian Kemp

@caribe I think that’s something you should ask yourself.

Vin

Watch season 2 of Loki

Bringo

This is correct. Quantumania isn't horrible but it could have been SO much better. And it leads into Loki Season 2.

Doryuu317

Shang-chi technically comes first

Tanner

Shang shi definitely is the order but watching Loki season 2 should be fine plus you wouldn’t wanna forget anything ya you can watch the rerun but it’s not the same as watching it right after

Frank

Shang chi

Rebecca Hadley

i think your supposed to do shang chi, then quantumania then season 2

Logan Thomson

I have sent you a list of the movies to watch in release order so that everything up to deadpool and wolverine makes sense.

Jacob Rogers

Can you finish the Batman series plz

David Berrios Rodriguez

Take a fun break and watch Shang-Chi. If I'm not mistaken, Season 2 may not be relevant to the current Phase. However, I would love to see a cool new Marvel movie.

Heyden

season 2 its so worth the watch

bokchoy68

jump right into season 2. i have a feeling if you wait too long you'll forget the storyline and become even more confused LMAOOO

EC Krygiel

Season 2 mah boi. RUN IT UP!🫡

Mats F.

cant wait for logan and the deadpool movies D:

Logan Thomson

I know I hope he sees my message and watches them in the correct order so he’s not confused 🤞

Juice J

Watch season 2. Then Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Deadpool & Wolverine. But before watching you would prob want watch all xmen movies and wolverine and even deadpool movies. These all have call backs. Also, there so many OG cameos that have been seen and will show up later in some marvel movies so you will miss some big moments just because you won't understand who they are unless you seen the OG movies.

Sam Gavello

just get season 2 done with yea, the end is wild ur gonna be shocked, then dive into the movies, Shang chi is a good one.

Eli Hinds

Finish season 2 right now!

Speakin.Life

You should do a poll… but def season 2…

Heyden

no no no, continue watching in release order. yes we all want you to watch season 2 because it's amazing but you will be even more confused if you do that, continue in release order and obviously throw in others in between like, all of the Xmen movies, the deadpool movies (definitely all of those before Deapool & Wolverine), the netflix Daredevil show before spiderman no way home (or at least just familiarise yourself with Charlie Cox's daredevil and then watch it when you have time) and if you can the punisher show too (definitely before getting to daredevil: born again and the new spiderman that is coming out). there are a couple of shows you can skip like she-hulk and echo but i recommend watching those things i listed so that you understand who the characters are and what is going on, honestly take your time getting to loki season 2 and watch the things you need to watch to understand because yes loki S2 basically takes place right after season one but there are things you should watch first because the loki show takes place outside and in between realities so there are gonna be gaps if you go straight into S2, that's just my recommendation.

Azur3Pan1c

when are we going to get the rest of the conjuring series such as annabelle the nun and the conjuring movies

Dakota Hartman

Shang Chi is so underrated, great choreography. Season 2 of Loki now will confuse you, i would wait

BeJay

when in doubt just go with release order bro, it's how mostly all marvel nerds have experienced the mcu. I'm guessing a lot of people are just craving more Loki reactions since it is universally accepted as one of the best marvel shows, but there are others that can definitely compete. Daredevil, Moonknight, "What if?" are up there for me. So I say just go with the next movie or show that was released, we in it for the long haul!

steven welty

People said you'd be confused watching season 2 right away but I don't fully understand that. I would say go ahead and watch it then move on, unless someone can help me understand why it's confusing to watch before the other movies.

steven welty

With loki it isn't really necessary

Miguel Jesus

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,

Amm Hill

SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME OR MOONKNIGHT

RileyStylie

I mean as a giant Loki fan im all for season 2, it is its own self contained sort of thing so you wouldn’t miss anything by going straight for it but i understand some people want other stuff too

G.C

Look at all these MCU “Hardcore” fans can’t even find the right path 😂

KH1GHTR1D3R

i think that right after you watch Ant-man Quantomania should be the right thing to do

Once in a Wild

Release order. S2 will confuse you. You need to watch other stuff first.

SuperDuperTimmy

Release order is always the best way to go. It’s the only way to do a proper first watch of the entire MCU

Nicole G

Watch everything in release order. Which you pretty much already messed up by watching Loki before The Falcon and the Winter Soldier …

Andreas

What about Dark Knight Rises?

Jacob Livingston

He watched falcon and the winter soldier. He said he watched it on his flight so there wasn’t any reactions to it

Goolus

SHANG CHI!!!!!

Monique Little

Release order. Also where is Captain Marvel? Falcon and the Winter Soldier?

Evan Bratz

he already watched captain marvel when he was doing chronological order but didnt post it. But idk about falcon and the winter soldier

Evan Bratz

nvm he said he watch falcon and the winter soldier on a flight so there is no reaction

Evan Bratz

Also you should definitely rewatch Tobey and Andrews spiderman

Monique Little

Thing is he said you can watch Captain Marvel on Patreon. Also, just record it a second time for Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Gavin

Release order! Deadpool is getting to the point where it might be important also

Mr.Beans&Dip

RELEASE ORDER. Nothing changed after End Game in terms of what order to watch. We don’t need to be so antsy to watch other projects. Just keep watching in release order.

Mr.Beans&Dip

Have you not seen his update video? Also recording a whole second watch through is so unnecessary and wouldn’t be as good since the reactions aren’t first-time anymore.

MIKSHER

I think you need to watch in this order: -Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings -Eternals -Spider-Man: No Way Home BUT! I think most people will agree with me. Before watching Spider-Man: No Way Home that would be nice to rewatch 3 movies Spider Man with Tobey Maguire and 2 movies with Andrew Garfield. Or at least watch recaps of these films. This is really important for understanding the plot of Spider-Man: No Way Home. After this I really recommended Moon Knight tv series. This is realy good show. But it's up to You. And then come these films: -Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness -Thor: Love and Thunder -Black Panther: Wakanda Forever -Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania -Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 -Loki season 2 -The Marvels And this is the point when you have to start to watch X-man films because it is really important before Deadpool movies

Rodgers

"Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings", comes next but you can also finish Loki season 2 if you want.

Basketball Blakey

He didn’t watch Loki before falcon and winter soldier, he said in the updates video that he had a flight and it got delayed and he got rlly bored so he watched without a camera on him so he did watch falcon and winter soldier but he didn’t record it.

Basketball Blakey

I don’t understand either but I think it’s because Ant-man Quantumania explains Kang more because he’s the villain for some of season 2 (sorry if I just spoiled)

steven welty

It's all good I watched it I'm caught up on marvel.(Can't wait for brand new day). But I kinda understand that but Ig that's his call. We will see...🤔🙂

Dakota Manns

It doesn’t matter with this one. You can watch season 2 or go in release order. Season 2 take place directly after season one.

Gerson Cruz

whatever you feeling bro we here for it

jeun james

Is’nt the whole point of what if to make an alternativ reality of the mcu?

Evan L

Dark Knight Rises!

Kenneth The Menace

Pretty good list. I highly recommend watching the Defenders cast of hero tv shows. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Iron Fist are all really fun watches. They have darker tones and are a lot more brutal and focus on street level heroing/vigilantes. I recommend starting with Daredevil.

David Graves

DEADPOOL!!!! And the rest of spiders mans and doctor strange MOM

Henry Carhart

BRO WHAT HAPPENED TO FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER

Sei

Jump to season 2!

Grim_Jaxx

Brother there is a release irder for a reason brother, like do you even understand what the concept of a spoiler is??? No, do not skip to season 2. Never skip ahead. Always just move onto the movie that was released next otherwise you will be incredibly confused.

Jen Burton

We need falcon and the winter soldier as the next series then Shang Chi is the next film. I agree though that this would be a good time to watch the first two deadpool movies asap

Timmilangschlong

Oh you also NEEEED to watch the whole John Wick Universe ITS SO GOATED

Alex

just watch it in release order, it's not that hard bro

Alex

technically yes you can jump into season 2 without missing anything, but it will be out of order, Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania happened in between these two seasons, and it somewhat has a connection to the story of Loki

Weed

We need the next spiderman

Trish

86. Wonder Man Season 1 (2026) [TV Series – 1 Season Total]

NearlyDeparted

I know. we are doing release order, so we would not watch season 2 until much later in phase 5. We would be doing Black Widow or Shang-Chi next

Alex Garcia

Stick with release order. Why switch up now?

Urban Riders

in my opinion there is nothing wrong with watching season 2 right away. There is not anything new you will learn if you watch shang chi first.

invitatiome

Just stick to release order. Season 2 was released shortly after Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, so you should probably wait until then to watch it. I would recommend checking out The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It's relatively important to a couple other projects, and I thought it was pretty decent of a show. You don't have to follow through with it if you don't end up caring for it though.

Aaron Henderson

@KingWoolz Season Two ..because there is a huge Easter Egg at the End that is a call back to one of the previous Avenger Films that i want to show you

RMEffinger

He said he already watched that.

jriver210

season 2 or watch no way home

Nickolas Herrera (edited)

2026-09-06 00:00 If you’re gunna watch No Way Home, you gotta at least watch the Daredevil series first. There’s a bunch of characters to be excited about in No Way Home. I’d say jump straight into season 2 of Loki to finish the series.
2026-03-20 22:37

Joe Velazquez

Daredevil isn’t really relevant other then memorable cameos

Cath. Lefebvre

I suggest watching no way home, it’s my favourite :)

4J Ri0

yes some relevance but not enough to say that he should watch all of daredevil before no way home

Julie

Definitely jump into season 2 while everything is still fresh in your mind. You have the privilege of not having to wait 2 years for the next season, so please take it 🙏

Jon Cathcart

I would stick to release order like you have been doing so far.

Ian A

Release order

Briley Fowler

I would start watching Timeline order right about now bc if you watch release order stuffs just gonna be super confusing and out of order

Briley Fowler

Just watch season 2 then Deadpool & Wolverine then Shang-Chi

Briley Fowler

Loki season 2 doesnt rly spoil anything timeline wise

Briley Fowler

no it didnt quantamania didnt even happen till way after

Briley Fowler

because now we're in the multiverse saga and if you watch release order things will be out of order and confusing

Briley Fowler

this isnt in timeline order just to let you know

Briley Fowler

Also man personal opinion you should just spark notes X-men and just pay attention to the characters. Most of it is kinda pointless even after you watch Deadpool and Wolverine. Won’t really matter until upcoming movies, maybe you could watch it as filler until then. Edit: watch Logan though!!! Figure out a way to fit it in

John Pork

Yes i know outta context but can you react to spider man BND trailer

John Otterness

That would have massive spoilers if he watched that

TrueeJack

Bro we need Batman dark knight rises

Katie's Living

You need to watch the last Spiderman. There is a brand new one coming out in July. Also, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and the Christmas version too. It's so funny. Followed by THUNDERBOLTS*

Katie's Living

The Batman movies are too gruesome. I'll skip those.

Mr.Beans&Dip

This is an easy way to get Loki burnout. He does not need to go directly into season 2 after season 1.

Mr.Beans&Dip

How on earth will watching in release order be confusing?

ShinnyChampagne428

Patiently waiting for the next Woolz watch to drop……..

that's just not true, the post credits of quantumania is literally a scene of Loki season 2, and in the end of Loki season 2, they mentioned what happened in Quantumania

Major Back

Just stay on release order. Trust me. And don't skip What If! It'll make you immensely happy.

Major Back

Here is the ACTUAL release order for everything coming up. I'm seeing so many recommendations from different biases. Release order is the definitive way. Always some more context this way, and you won't get confused with any new characters popping in this way. I would like to say, I recommend watching the Netflix shows if possible, even if that's on your own time. There will be some relevance in some of these upcoming shows and movies. Spider-Man: Far From Home (July 2019) WandaVision (January 2021 – March 2021) The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (March 2021 – April 2021) Loki (June 2021 – July 2021) Black Widow (July 2021) What If...? season 1 (August 2021 – October 2021) Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (September 2021) Eternals (November 2021) Hawkeye (November 2021 – December 2021) Spider-Man: No Way Home (December 2021) Moon Knight (March 2022 – May 2022) Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 2022) Ms Marvel (June 2022 – July 2022) Thor: Love and Thunder (July 2022) She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (August 2022 – October 2022) Werewolf By Night (October 2022) Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (November 2022) The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (November 2022) Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (February 2023) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 (May 2023) Secret Invasion (June 2023 – July 2023) Loki season 2 (October 2023 – November 2023) The Marvels (November 2023) What If...? season 2 (December 2023) Echo (January 2024) Deadpool & Wolverine (July 2024) Agatha All Along (September 2024 – October 2024) What If...? season 3 (December 2024) Captain America: Brave New World (February 2025) Daredevil: Born Again season 1 (March 2025 – April 2025) Thunderbolts* (May 2025) Ironheart season 1 (June 2025 – July 2025) The Fantastic Four: First Steps (July 2025) Eyes of Wakanda (August 2025) (For funsies) Marvel Zombies (September 2025) (For funnies) Wonder Man season 1 (January 2026)

RaezPlays

Please watch season 2 of Loki! It will be helpful to do so while season 1 is still fresh in your mind and it is WELL worth it!

Briley Fowler

you absolutely will get confused. Timeline is MUCH easier and the INTENDED way of watching

m5

Hey Bro u definitely have to tap in to the what if series

Julie

First of all: there is no such thing as a "Loki burnout" 😂 Second: I didn't say he needed to do it. That was just a suggestion based on my own experience since I had to wait 2 years for season two and basically forgot what happened in season one 😅 The only takeaway from my comment was supposed to be for him to not wait so long to jump into season two

Joshua Foley

You can't really skip ahead, to muck lore stuff is sprinkled around, you need to stick to release order for a reason unfortunately, but it's worth it, it really is, I promise

Azur3Pan1c

I don't think it matters whether he watches all the other marvel stuff b4 loki season 2. Just because it wasn't released till 2 years later doesn't mean anything. As far as the story goes this is happening outside space and time so he can watch it whenever, this show does not need to be watched in release order as far as I can tell unless someone has knowledge of why season 2 shouldn't be watched right away

Origina1Name

Season 2 is a direct continuation of the season 1 and nothing in between. The fact it came out 2 years later changes nothing. If you show it to someone who has never seen it, dont tell them its a new season, remove the "previously on" part, they will not even know its a new season and after the last season will ask if there will be a season 2. Like that's how. So yeah, watch it now especially if you liked season 1 because if you let time pass and forget half the things, it won't be as interesting later. You need to be able to recall what happened earlier and in what order basically.

newdayatmidnight

Just continue to watch in release order. Don't know why you have suddenly wanted to start skipping shows and movies just because you're past Phase 3. We're here for your opinions on these projects, not to have your opinion formed beforehand because someone in the comments told you a certain project was good or bad.

Jayveemon

STick with release order bro!

Kelvin Perez

Oh my god oh my god oh my god wait until you hit season 2 HANDS DOWN BEST SERIES IN MARVEL TV HISTORY

Itss_NattyJ

I'm new here––just joined to watch his Shang-Chi reaction (which was great) because it looks like he's not going to post it on YT and I'm impatient. But can someone please answer this, is he really skipping the Marvel films/shows that precede Shang-Chi? Are we not getting his reactions to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier or What If...? S1??? Please say it ain't so.

Ali Houro

Season 222222 we are waiting!!
