Woolz, you gotta know by now that with the shows, the first 3 episodes are slower paced with a lot of exposition. But by the midpoint of the series things pick up and perceived villains are shown to not be the main villains and the storyline becomes more complex. Practice patience my friend, things pick up after this and get a lot more interesting. Looking forward to your reactions to the rest of this series!

Also woolz something to consider is that hawkeye acting as the ronin killed a lot of people. Like….. at least over a hundred. At least from context, thereabouts. Hawkeye is a trained killer. That’s why I love his character in general but it shows why he’s so adamant about his kids not seeing who he was. They show it in a not-so serious light but the reality is that Clint has some major ghosts

I know it's Marvel, so that could be misleading, But I understand things that aren't crazy action-like may not be to your interest. Also, Track Suit Mafia is a real thing in the comics, and their whole thing is corny. They're also in the PlayStation Spider-Man game and Daredevil, so when you see those, maybe their corniness will be normal to you. But I will say even if this isn't turning into your cup of Tea, this show and a couple of other things are key for a lot of the new main characters' storylines. Especially with Thunderbolts and Fantastic 4. Much Love, and i hope you can somehow find some of these less action-based things enjoyable.

One last thing before Thursday’s Multiverse of Madness show, hope you know the director Sam raimi, he did the OG spider-man films and also is a mostly horror director. Some of why I think that movie is one of the best in marvel EDIT: 1:47:38 holy wow that’s referencing the Mexico federales thing that war machine mentioned, never connected that. Also maybe you should read the Matt fraction Hawkeye stuff, that series is amazing and a tight read. I have more appreciation for it now than when I first watched it being a Hawkeye fan from the comics.

Wandavision was also reallyyy slow for the first 3 eps. Its marvel so we always expect high tempo crazy action, which is probably why so many fans lose interest in the tv shows that slow down for the first eps. Also it sucks that youre probably gonna finish hawkeye without watching daredevil but it is what it is hopefully u see it soon

So when you get to the next episode or 2, don't forget to refer back to the end credit scene of black widow, and also, if you haven't seen Netflix Daredevil you should watch that especially if you plan to watch daredevil born again same goes for punisher as the new punisher comes out in May and these are continuation shows from the Netflix series. So if you don't watch the Netflix series, then don't watch the Disney series because it won't make sense.

This show was meant to be a street level threat Christmas series. So, you're not going to get Avenger's equivalent of a threat. Plus Kate Bishop is such an amateur, it would be crazy to have her suddenly go up against extremely dangerous villains up front. I think, the reason the villains aren't doing it for you is because they are a bunch of henchmen. The show is lowkey hand feeding you the idea that these are just henchmen, so they are not meant to be taken seriously. That also means, they are not the main villains. That's all I'll say. The show gets more interesting and some other story plots come up that elevates it and leads into other Marvel stories. There's only 3 more episodes left so it'll be quick. My only concern is that some of the references and major plots that are about to pop up may seriously go over your head. Lastly, Tracksuit Mafia, are an actual thing from the comics. *shrug* Gotta have your henchmen.

One of the things i love about hawkeye is you can always see the moments where a familiar situation makes him flashback to a traumatic event. Like when he let the larper kill him for a moment you can see him realizing he used to do that to people for real.

Im a little confused what you mean by corny tbh. I feel like you liked most of the nearly impossible action moments but thought the more realistic stuff was corny. But you also seemed to like the corny villains. Not hating, just curious what you mean by corny I guess. I also prefer the over the top action, but most people would say thats corny and the realistic stuff is the opposite.

The last half of the show gets a lot better bro it's like a wandavision situation but hope you get to watch Daredevil and The punisher eventually. They are full of action and come with good but dark stories

I'm a lot more forgiving of this show on rewatches then I was the first time I saw it. My first gripe would be a spoiler, so I won't get into that, but the second one is the same with you, I find the Tracksuit Mafia to be corny and annoying. I think they're supposed to be giving the energy of the sticky bandits from home alone to fit in with the Christmas theme, but I don't like the Home Alone movies either, so... yeah. That's just what it is, and when you accept it it gets a little easier to take. I think it's wild that you don't empathize at all with Echo, though. She is the only actual fighter/martial artist in the cast, and I think she's cool as hell. I can't get enough of her. There's going to be a character reveal around her that we all went crazy for that you're not going to get, unfortunately. There's an important character from Daredevil whose story ties in with her, but to you he's just going to be some guy. There's going to be another cameo upcoming that you ARE going to get though, and I think it's going to really sweeten it up for you, but we'll see.

You can definitely start skipping shows at this point. Yes some of them are good but they don’t tie into the movies and if you’re trying to get caught up there aren’t many others that are necessary. I recommend going with Daredevil and the adjoining shows cause they will tie into Spider-Man BND.
