Please use captions from now on if only for your own benefit. There's been plenty of times when you miss things bc of laughing or taking over it or what have you and you've missed plot points and explanations lots of times. You understand more of what's happening in the plot when you can understand what they're saying and you are very clearly to me a person that needs captions. Love the content my friend having a blast rewatching all this with you

Fun fun fun! Deep series. Besides the “The Accountant” (2016) (and even “The Accountant 2” (2025)) more than adequate exploration into a behavioral challenged individual. Also, fantastic exploration into Egyptian pantheon of the gods. (“Black Adam” (2022, DC®, Dwayne Johnson) as well.) The hippo is adorable. Hate Ammit. Hate her. You’ll see why. So, as from what I understand from the comics Marc is just a genuinely unwell person mentally. He has DID and adding khonshu to that equation makes a third personality that just complicates things for him. My understanding is khonshu picked him because he was already a broken person. Mostly read comics where moon knight is a tertiary character. He’s very complicated and he’s not quite right in the head. If anyone can correct me on that I’d like to know, because I always liked moon knight because he’s brutal, but never really knew much about him on a level. This is very interesting to watch because I only ever watched the first episode though. Also from what I’ve seen establishes that MK has a bunch of different personalities if I remember?

if youre not going to finish this i wouldnt recommend dare devil. or any of the netflix marvel as its all about the same level as this. maybe slightly more action but all the same boring dull batman level action. the rest of this show will give you the answers you wanted before. and honestly just a single action scene. but it will answer the questions at least. i saw its worth it just for that. but yea if all you want from the MCU is the action then you might have been right with jokingly saying you should have stopped at end game... because this is the mcu now.. i mean this is actually better than recent stuff. but then anyone who likes starwars falls into this same grouping. because the story of starwars is pretty lame. we watch for the action. not the cookie cutter heroes journey. if we wanted story we would watch star trek not wars.

i mean on paper its a cooler version of batman. we dont have the cool gadgets but we have egyptian lore which is cooler than anything DCs boring shit puts out. but sadly the action scenes in this dont come close to batmans despite being a similar dull punchy mc punch punch style which is daredevil, jessica jones, luke cage, iron fist.... like damn how many marvel shows are just about boring street level melee battles? at least wolverine has some claws to add some brutality to the melee stuff. not that hes had as much time to be rated R as he deserved.

Just finished watching the reaction and you asked if you should finish the show and provide entertainment for us. Honestly, if you’re going to be complaining the whole way through and nitpicking I’d rather you not continue—that’s not entertaining (to me) to watch. However, I know what’s coming next and like I advised with the last few shows you’ve watched, things pick up and get really interesting after the 3rd episode and I think you’ll like it. But please don’t if you really aren’t into it. I’d rather watch you react to something you’re excited about.

Please continue to watch this show! Moon Knight was one of my favorite shows that came out. I also love the character from the comics but it would be great to see your reaction to it. I think it got better with each episode. Also a lot of the questions you have will be answered in the next batch of episodes. It is important to remember that the beef isn't between Marc/Steven and Arthur, it's between Khonshu and Arthur. Marc/Steven just so happen to be the avatar at this point in time.

One of my favorite Marvel series honestly. I can understand his complaints about the CG, but the physiological aspects really kept me invested. Kinda bums me out that Woolz rolls his eyes whenever Steven is trying to restrain Marc, but I guess he just wants more action.

Moon Knight is one of my favorite comic characters, but I'll agree it's not executed the best it could've been on screen. That being said, I still liked it a lot more than you seemed to, but that's okay. I think you're getting antsy cause you wanna see more Marc action and Steven keeps butting in, but one of the key plot threads of the show is seeing how they are eventually forced to work together, which is coming. They don't have Khonshu now, so they're gonna have to figure something out, yea? Anyways, I'd definitely recommend continuing but at the end of the day it is up to you. Daredevil though - DEFINITELY watch! It's an incredible show.

Like I said you need to have low expectations for this saga of the mcu. I think you should still finish the shows it is entertaining and also they didn't do another season of moon knight because the budget was to high. Disney spent alot of money making this show, you should look up there budget for it. Again, definitely finish it. The really good shows that they did was loki, daredevil, and in my opinion Wanda vision, the falcon and the winter soldier, secret invasion, and agatha all along i guess. She hulk, Ms marvel, iron heart, and wonderman were not my favorite.

The commentary during this is exactly why we don't need to be doing these shows...none of them are going to be movie quality and after the 900th time pointing out the cgi, why bother? Let's just move on, it's fine...these shows were failures, Disney and Feigie have admitted that themselves. I liked this series for what it is, but it's never going to be movie quality like he apparently expects.

I say yes to daredevil but I think he would need to start with the Netflix daredevil first so he understands who the characters are because disney daredevil has some backstory for some characters lines and it is not shown and was really confusing especially for someone who has never seen it

As ffor the cgi, tv shows will never have the same budget as the movies that are released in theaters where they can get their money back, you just got to brush past it a bit. Can’t believe you’re just willing to drop an MCU show in the middle. Moonknight was not a cancelled show. It told its story and we can’t say for certain that he won’t show up for future projects. This overall attitude you’ve been having with the shows have been really strange. If you’re just going to complain then don’t even do the MCU anymore. All you do is pause so much, ask so many questions that you know well the show will answer down the road, and then question its relevancy in the MCU. Ever since End Game it’s just been annoying. Stick with the shows. It will all pay off in Doomsday/Secret Wars.

yea i was more into starwars when i was a kid though i did enjoy TNG till the whole Tasha Yar thing happened. i was crushing on her hard. Woolz seems to lean heavier toward the pew pew action / sports sports sports kinda guy so i kinda wanna recommend going back to DC, i dont even know the order of that stuff but doing the big ones to work up to justice league and learn wonder woman, aquaman, superman, flash... then he can go watch the boys since he would get the references, and maybe also watch invincible since that seems to be what hes after.

Its alright but I had higher hopes for this show, a lot of the marvel shows were made as cash grabs for Disney or to push their agenda so personally I never bothered watching them when they came out. Your criticisms are certainly justified but maybe the next episodes will be better. So far I think Loki was the only good one, and it still doesn't approach the movies. Wandavision was ok in the 2nd half, but is sort of needed for the next dr strange

I think the dynamic of how Marc and Steven learn to switch to their benefit is worth the watch - good fight scene between Moon Knight and Harrow in the end. This show was one of my favorites - yes there is not a lot of action fight scenes you'd expect from Marvel - but as a series it works. Moon Knight has became one of my favorite marvel characters - The series was not cancelled - it was set as a season to introduce the character. I can only hope that he is brought in in future movies where we can see more of his fight potential explored.

I enjoy these shows, and was re-watching for the reacts here, but Woolz seems very needy of constant action scenes, which is probably a sign of not being engaged in the plot or characters. There's not even that much action in the first Marvel movies imo, which he liked just fine, so a bit confusing to me. And the mid CGI for a character that is almost never on screen did not bother me at all. I think all the Daredevil is a really cool series too, both original and renewed, but I wonder if it has enough action for him, despite having some very high quality action scenes.

I would personally argue that the CGI for iron man in endgame is slightly worse or at least on par with the CGI for Konshu. i really don't get why you think the CGI is so bad in this show. its way better than some of the mainstream movies in marvel imo.

MID CGI in comparison to what he expects, its not bad, to be honest its hardly noticeable but when you point it out thats all you are going to notice, and i think thats why he ended up "not being sold" because he was too busy trying to find action like youd expect from marvel, he started to miss the amazing story/lore

Came back to the comments because I got a reply for another comment I made, but just thought of this, if I remember correctly: Episode 1: That was fire! Episode 2: Really interesting, it would have to really go downhill for no season 2?? Episode 3: Not feeling it, should I continue? The episode 3 curse is real :D Also maybe episode 3's are a bad cutoff, because it's basically like the 1 hour mark in movies, where the point is character development and story advancement. Although I am happy that we get series reactions in significant chunks too, so not sure what the best approach is, maybe they could be recorded separately and merged for the upload or whatever to avoid stopping at a point he does not find interesting.

He should have watched Netflix Daredevil before Hawkeye and Spiderman imo as there are references in both of those, if it's for the full Marvel lore. And Daredevil has crossover with the Punisher series also. But based on the recent reactions I think he would find DareDevil too much of a laywer-drama despite being a really good show and franchise with sick fight choreography.

I watched all the way from first iron man, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier was the first one I fell off midway myself (it wasn't that bad, I was just busy), so was looking forward to finish it as part of this.. Kind of strange to watch it off-platform, when people are literally paying to watch the reactions.. Like I could understand if he just had skipped it (and he should never feel forced to watch anything) but if he is going to watch it anyways, why not do a low-effort react, and just upload it.. I also assume many people here don't have a disney subscription..

I like this show. I like the idea, the plot, and the execution. I like that they don't focus on action scenes and instead focus on immersing yourself in the story. I don't like shows that feature endless meaningless battles. This show has the perfect balance between storytelling and action scenes. And I don't think Khonshu looks bad; it's a very cool visual for a series. Yes, series have lower budgets than feature films. But the graphics here are very beautiful, in my opinion.

This show is definitely deeper than other Marvel projects, which in turn just means less action scenes (similar to Wandavision). I think it’s worth sticking through (like Wandavision) because the development just continued to blow my mind the more I watched. But if you’re not vibing with it, I understand and you shouldn’t watch something you’re not into. But me personally, I think it’s worth the watch.

DO NOT give up on this show this is one of the best marvel shows next to Wandavision, Loki, Hawkeye, Daredevil/Daredevil: Born Again and almost all of the netflix shows. you gotta stick to it man, the marvel shows are obviously gonna have more story driven scenes over action but that is not a bad thing that is what they are here for is for us to see these characters more then just superheroes fighting bad guys you cant say its bad or anything like that just because there isnt fighting in every scene. if you are going to watch all of this marvel stuff and call yourself a marvel fan then you gotta watch everything and enjoy them for more then just the action scenes, and just a heads up woolz when you get to watching Daredevil please dont pick it apart just because of not seeing enough action or thinking a suit is lame and then getting distracted by a suit or even a character you dont like the whole time because daredevil is amazing (both the character in general and the show) there are 3 seasons and if you are going to watch it please watch it all do not give up on it because of boredom or any criticism you may or will have. and if you do watch it then i am excited for you to eventually get to daredevil born again because in my opinion Born Again is the best marvel show (for me it beats Loki) but just finish Moon Knight and then afterwards you can choose to decide if you like it or not but watch it for the story and everything it has to offer not just the action sequences you gotta take it all in, and may i suggest for something you should do after every project you watch (you can obviously do it off camera) after every project you watch you should go to the website marvel.fandom.com (Marvel Database) and learn about the character(s) from the comics so that you gather more knowledge about the character(s) that the MCU may not give you. But as always i enjoy your reactions and i hope you see this and at least take some of it in.

The back half is solid. Moon knight is part of an upcoming midnight suns project. I know the VFX are spotty with the tv shows they put out. Unfortunately, even Disney has to cut corners and save the budget for the big moments. Idk man. I would stick with it if I was you, but I also really don’t wanna watch (and pay for) you watching things you aren’t enjoying. I say give everything a taste. Complete non sequitur: I don’t think you’d enjoy most of she-hulk. I’m a defender of the series but it truly is not for everyone. But you should watch episode 1 just to get your intro and origin of the character so you are at least familiar with the character later. Do watch the special presentations: werewolf by night and the guardians holiday special. Hate them or love them, they are just under an hour each. Skip IronHeart, secret invasion, echo and wonder man. Skip Captain America brave new world, and I hated ant-man 3. People will probably tell you to skip ms. Marvel and the marvels, but I say give them a shot. The marvels has some pretty important content in regards to this incoming multiversal war and incursions and what not, even if I would give it a B- on a good day. Just try to enjoy this saga. There’s a lot of retooling and rerouting that was done with the studio unfortunately, but I think it’s gonna pull itself together. I have loved everything after Cap 4 so far, so I think overall the MCU is back on course, even though the Disney push for more content kind of momentarily derailed this saga.

Agreed. Just watched his Dr. Strange MoM reaction and it’s action-packed w/mostly CGI and he didn’t complain…not even about the silly cyclops octopus. In the end he rated that film over 8. He might be more partial toward characters he’s familiar with rather than toward the new heroes like Moon Knight.

Watching the Netflix shows is a huge ask. Even daredevil alone is a huge ask. You need context from the defenders before season 3, it’s like 36 episodes of tv or something with just the series alone. I would love if people got context, but I’m also not gonna tune in if he watches. The Netflix series are soooooo slow at times and I just can’t.

Im not gonna lie if you personally don't like it because if you mostly want action and crazy budget cgi this def not it for you haha I love the show its definitely worth the watch to end in My opinion. Your reaction is surprising to me because I love the story and do love the dynamic between Layla and Marc and Steven and even Konshu tooo but never had the same feeling that I just wanted to skip the story building. I never had an issue with the Cgi as I understood its more story driven. Definitely lacks in the writing as far ad dialogue but overall good and definitely saved by the acting. One mayor factor this show has is that it came out during the period where marvel wash just pushing out tons of content and rushing it out because of the new CEO they had in place and It hurt the quality in the cgi and if they would've spent more time on it, it would be even better but unfortunately marvel took some L's because of this rushing out content problem, during the Multiverse saga. Marvel didn't ever say it was canceled for a second season despite some ending factors that suggested a Moon Knight will return type vibe, it just was never announced that there WAS going to be one at all.

This is a very cool, unique show but I've felt that Marvel was having trouble tying it into the larger storyline. And Woolz is obviously a big fan of callbacks and tie-ins to the big picture. As are most of us. They greenlit too much content and didn't know how to organize everything. The Multiverse silliness gave them a lot of outs on storylines that didn't mesh, but the audience grew tired of excusing the lazy writing. I would love to see the MK story continued. I'm worried that the Kang storyline that we may never see finished was the closest relevance they could lean on for this character.

one thing to keep in mind as well 6 episodes is insanely short. most older people in my age group (40s) are used to seasons of TV being 20+ episodes. and more episodic instead of long running narratives most episodes were one off self contained stories. so they would be doing a lot of character building in some episodes. i find these modern shows being shorter you barely even get to know peoples names. heck even here with only 6 episodes did you even clock that the explorer in the tv program in the mental hospital was steven grant? at least in this with the split personality theres a lot of calling people by their names. but like the newer star treks for example i couldnt tell you half the main casts name. hell not even 1/4 of them sometimes. they are more concerned with repeating the plot line over and over to drill home the story because they know younger viewers are doom scrolling on their phones so watching tv and movies is 2nd monitor content now. really dont think you will vibe with many of the other shows after this. they are certainly a mixed bag. they might be connected to some up coming stuff. im fairly confident you would have ms marvel but its kinda mandatory if youre going to watch the next captain marvel..... but since you hated the first honestly it doesnt connect anything really so can skip both? or just shift to DC but you also seem to hate seeing when the heroes get their asses beat. but you need DC references before going to check out the boys because theres a lot more DC references than marvel imo. so knowing superman and wonder woman especially. and then meeting the flash and aquaman though jason momoa making aquaman cool might kinda be a crime since he was the laughing stock of all of DC. like what? his power is that he can talk to fish? doctor dolittle looking ass.....

Well all these comments doesn't give me a lot of confidence for his appreciation of the show 😅 I was gonna start it but then...many people have the same opinion as you in here. And it's not just the captions needed, Moon Knight is a very good example of show don't tell. I think it took me 5 rewatches before I stopped having something new to say/notice in each scene. It's really a work of dedicated love by the production. So sad Disney execs don't seem to believe in it to give it another season.
