This should be the next watched IMO plus they are in order of the lore and such. Thor love and thunder, circle back to daredevil netflix adaptation (optional but highly suggest atleast a few episodes to understand the character abit more) black panther wankanda forever, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania , Guardian of galaxy vol3 , secret invasion(very optional IMO), Loki season 2, What if..?(not required but nice change of pace), and stop there. Next you gotta hit the X-men movies and deadpool movies. That would be X-men: first class, X-men: days of future past, X-men: Orgins wolverine, X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, X-Men, X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand, The Wolverine, Deadpool, Deadpool 2, The New Mutants, Logan, and finally Deadpool & Wolverine. Than you jump back to captain America brave new world, Daredevil born again, thunderboltz, and fantastic four first steps. I left some shows out these are what i think woolz would like and that keep in order of the story IMO. Glad you stuck through moonknight Its prob my favorite marvel show.

Oscar Isaac should have won an Emmy, at the very least a nomination, for his performance in this. The way he seamlessly switches between Marc and Steven is incredible, not to mention acting with himself. Wild.

would love to see you start the Netflix (now on Disney+) Daredevil series, it'll give some background on characters that are becoming much bigger parts of the MCU in its current state of TV shows, as well as it's just some of the best work Marvel has ever done in terms of TV shows. i think the rest of the defenders are hit or miss and you have a while before they become relevant. but just for the acting and cinamatography alone its worth starting either next or soon

i love moon knight. the first 3 episodes, like many shows, the first 3 episodes are usually to introduce new characters that are niche to the community, but episodes 4 and 5 emotional trauma and acting, and big parts of 6's action were top notch

Loved the show. Came out too early. They were trying to set up (like I have said) the upcoming midnight suns project the studio has in the pipeline. The team is going to be horror themes and consist of Moon Knight, Blade, some character from the werewolf by night presentation, perhaps a character or two from the Agatha series, and maybe even doctor strange, who knows… As for the people saying Oscar isn’t coming back. I don’t believe it. So many of these stars talk their shit about Disney. But at the end of the day… Disney wants those billion dollar box offices and the stars want their share. I positive he will be back, if he doesn’t already have a contract for multiple appearances already. So I’m certain we will see more moon knight. It just won’t be until the next saga. The focus of the third saga is supposedly mutants, the cosmic, and the supernatural sides of the MCU.

None of these shows have had official cancelations. The actors have appearance contracts, the shows are picked up a season at a time. The only series besides Loki that even resembles a traditional network franchise are daredevil born again and wonder man.

Yeah I think we see him a few times prior to the post credits scene. The office hallucination where he’s talking to therapist harrow and he’s got the injured nose, and when he calls him “Doc” it doesn’t sound like Mark or Stephen.

Dude let me tell you, there is another story that tackles the mental health aspect in a different direction in Thunderbolts. I can honestly say without shame & without spoiling there's a portion of that movie that made me cry because it felt like I was watching my life represented in almost every aspect at the time I had watched it.

YEAH DUDE Jake is his 3rd personality, that 3rd tomb we saw but he didn't open. In the comics Jake is the "street smarts/protector" personality. While I do agree it could have benefited being a movie looking to expand in sequels it probably would have bode better for the initial fan response to the show. MoonKnight did NOT get cancelled tho. It was only greenlit for 1 season, MoonKnight will come back eventually I would assume after Secret Wars and everyone get's mashed into 1 singular Universe and the MCU kinda resets

I didn’t watch this until you reacted to it and it was good but I am still very confused on how Marc, Steven, and Jake can still be in mcu and how their story can continue but this was still pretty good of a show.

Second season wasn’t cancelled just hasn’t been planned yet/if at all. Might return to him in a movie of his own or in another marvel project soon ( I hope so as one of my favourite marvel character that’s been introduced)

Dude, you’re just into scenes that contain action. God forbid shows have a slow beginning to set up things. Honestly, you probably wouldn’t even like Netflix Daredevil due to the awesome character development it has.

as much as you think the first few episodes were drawn out this would not have worked as a movie because they wouldnt have been able to build the personalities and back story as much. the action might have been a bit better with a movie budget. your complains about khonshus cgi when its literally the same suit as marcs just with a weird bird skull floating over it. if you compare it to the comic drawings they did pretty great for such a weird abstract thing. we had 5 hours of stuff here. at most maybe they could have cut 1. or found a way to make it a 3 hour movie but how often outside of bollywood/tollywood films do you see a 3 hours runtime? thats very rare in hollywood stuff (though has happened more recently) id still say cooler than batman but i love egyptian stuff. so probably a bit biased on that

Final verdict: I am incredibly sad that it got cancelled. The entire premise of the show is so unlike anything marvel has put out, so it's real upsetting to see that moon knight's story got cut. a real shame in my opinion, but at least we got what we did and it was pretty stellar. great show for sure.

idk if this is mentioned yet but it was confirmed you have to watch all the x-men and deadpool to understand doomsday so idk if u were gonna watch those at all but highly recommend

It's an origin story so the beginning is always going to have less action but like you said that acting was great and story/trauma was so interesting. I think it's pretty awesome that the whole time since the beginning every time he blacked out it was "Jake" and you don't find out until the end.

Yeah it's really sad that they haven't given Moon Knight a second season 😭 let's still hope. But yeah Oscar said that the Moon Boys was one of the roles he was the most proud of/liked to play so he'd definitely be on board to come back (I heard him say that at 2022 NYCC)

Nah it wasn't drawn out at all. It could've been longer. Did I want more Moon Knight action? Sure. But they needed to set up the characters properly and make the viewers understand what was happening. All scenes were there for a reason, they even rushed things in typical big screen fashion. DID is a very misunderstood neurodisorder even to this day, and it was one of the only pop culture portrayal where they did it right. Unfortunately they had to do the same treatment to Jake, but so far haven't. I think it would be a disservice to Jake to take only a few scenes in a movie to develop him. He needed his own season. And if you think this is slow burn, don't look up my Hypotethical Season 2 fic 😅 What is weird is that WandaVision was the same and you understood why they did what they did and the payoff at the end, and you knew to be patient and what the scenes did. I think it's only because you already knew Wanda and were already invested in her, while the Moon boys were new character(s). As someone who read Moon Knight's comics to prepare for the show, then McKay's MK run, I think they did a great job with what they chose from his stories and what they changed. The kept the important parts of his comics lore while involving more real egyptian people & characters within it and being more accurate to DID portrayal. There's a few things I would've liked to see, like making the violence more present/realistic like the Daredevil show. But overall it was a very well done show, and very rewatchable (lots of show don't tell if you pay attention). Oscar Isaac even said that he at first only wanted to act in the show, to not be associated with it if it turned out to be bad (probably because of his experience with Star Wars). But then as they made the show, he got more and more involved until he became one of the producers, he loved it and believed in the project that much. It's kinda sad you didn't see all that. The only people who had anything negative to say about the show that I saw was the Honest Trailers guys. And I've watched all the reactions of the show I could find on YouTube and Patreon.

Yes Thunderbolts is as good 🙏 I love stories that explore different mental health issues and I loved Thunderbolts as much as Moon Knight.

great list but watching Brave New World without Eternals will be confusing, he needs to watch Punisher for DD Born Again and Brand New Day, the rest of the Defenders series's for DD Born Again, Ms Marvel and The Marvels because those will be important for Doomsday, Agatha All Along and Wonder Man bc those will be important for the Mutant Saga i believe. Also New Mutants isnt important at all along with Secret Invasion and What If?
