Kingpin is not dead, he's first introduced in Daredevil season 1, basically he's incredibly strong and durable, very hard to kill, technically he's a normal person, but he's kinda like a buff super soldier, it's a comic thing

I think this series is probably the most wholesome of all the Marvel shows created. So it holds a special place in my heart. Yes, Marvel shows do have a problem of having a slow buildup. I believe when they first started making these shows, they were still treating them like movies. Basically extensions of the movie universe as well. They changed up recently with how they decided to approach their shows. They cancelled a lot of series and decided to cut back. I believe, and I could be wrong, originally Kevin Feige had control of the shows, but he was stretched so thin. That's why you notice a lot of flaws in the earlier shows. I'm pretty sure they eventually got someone else to head the Marvel shows, while Feige only focuses on the movies. Kingpin is a major villain and we have not seen the last of him. People did complain about how he was portrayed here saying he seemed too gimmicky and not as threatening as he usually is. Basically, the people working for him showed very little fear when confronting him and choosing to leave. Kingpin is mostly associated as a Dare Devil adversary. Dare Devil cameoed in the Spider-Man movie No Way Home. He was the lawyer who caught the brick. People have already been asking, but you should really watch the netflix show. Best representation of the character. Same actors for the Marvel reboot series of Dare Devil that were released recently. I don't want to type whole paragraphs, but just to answer your question about who Kingpin is...think of him as a crime boss. Like the head of the family kind, similar to Carmine Falcone and Maroni, only vastly more dangerous. He runs the underworld of NYC. He has also cross paths with Spider-Man multiple times and can hold his own against him. He can be a scary dude, when done right.

To know more about Kingpin/Wilson Fisk and Matt Murdock from Spider-Man No Way Home, you have to watch Daredevil. I'm sure many people have already told you this. And I agree that you should watch at least the first season over the next little bit. However, only the first 4 episodes are needed to really get a grasp over those 2 characters. I'm not suggesting you only watch those 4 episodes, but don't consume yourself with trying to catch up on all of Daredevil and The Punisher and all that stuff. Unless you're planning on watching the new Spider-Man when it comes out this summer? Then you will likely need to know a bit more about Daredevil, King Pin and The Punisher and all that. But I've said before that you shouldn't try to rush things. So just don't worry about Spider-Man coming out in the Summer and don't worry about Doomsday coming out in the Winter. You don't have enough time to catch up on everything before then, so just stop trying to meet unrealistic timelines. Not to mention, now you have watched The Multiverse of Madness. People are going to want to see you react to X-Men and Deadpool. There is A LOT for you to still react to before reacting to new Spider-Man or new Avengers so just stop trying. Unless you want to be incredibly confused because you skipped a bunch of stuff.

So I agree with everyone on here that you should watch the daredevil series by Netflix to understand kingpin even if you dont upload it i would still watch it to know the characters also before you get to the new captain america movie you need to watch eternals or what you see won't make sense

I found it to be one of the best shows they’ve done because of the way they came full circle for the characters and storyline on so many things and it ties into so much to the greater MCU.

Kingpin (Wilson Fisk) already appeared in the first Dardevil show. One of the best street level marvel villains. Definitely worth a watch to get that villain origin story. At the end of Black Widow Valentina Allegra de Fontaine hired Yelena to kill Hawkeye, the "killer" of her sister. I dont know if you got that detail. She also recruited John Walker in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which you watched offline I think already. So something is building up here in the background. Very good example, while watching these shows makes sense for the overall MCU plot. And here some broader MCU and comic trivia: Hawkeyes wife, Laura Barton, was a Shield Agent back in the days with the code name Agent 19. In the comics Agent 19 is the code name of Bobbi Morse a.k.a Mockingbird, who is Clints wife in the comics. Bobbi Morse on the other Hand appeared in the MCU Show Marvels Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. I think the whole part with the watch was just to make a connection to the comics here.

I know it's a lot of content, but you REALLY should watch daredevil- seasons 1-3. Kingpin is one of the best marvel villains, possibly villains of all time, and they didn't do him justice in Hawkeye. You would enjoy it- it's gritty, well-written, and has some of the coolest and craziest scenes in superhero media.

vincent donofrio is the quintessential role for a character in the MCU. He’s been the kingpin for 10+ years and that breathy voice is something better than I’ve ever imagined while reading him in comics. He’s classy, while staying absolutely brutal in a more PG setting. One of my favorite scenes in marvel cinematic features him and a car door. Seriously, MAKE YOUR NEXT TV WATCH BE DAREDEVIL. Period. You won’t regret it.
