Kang the conquerer storyline essentially got scrapped not long after this movie. Avengers movie was originally going to be called "The Kang Dynasty" followed by "Secret Wars" but they changed it to Avengers Doomsday

i dont like Captain marvel character AT ALL, but Ms Marvel (kamala) is an absolute gem, and the actress is a nerdy young adult like many of the community and is a hardcore fan of the MCU, and is hilarious especially with her family, and adorable. Shame the scripts that they give her shows/movies sometimes fall behind in terms of PLOT... however her writing/dynamics with her family are top tier.

because the actor decided to ruin it for everyone and get involved in a scandalous domestic abuse case, and so marvel had to scrap some plots and salvage whatever they could. Edit: im aware that he was found guilty on certain counts but he settled out of court with his ex on the larger/heavier stuff, and i heard that she even went out and said at some point that she accused him poorly of something out of anger, but it's unclear if that's part of their settlement or if she was actually being honest or not. That whole thing is a grey area. But bottom line is: both parties messed up and could have been more reasonable human beings about it.

But I was still excited to see Kang dynasty cuz Loki did a good job of setting up the character and even tho quantumania didn’t perform well, Kang held up the movie and was in my opinion the best part of the film. But regardless I can’t wait for doomsday it’s gonna be amazing

And poor Harrison Ford... I understand, that he had to show up for this one just to sell his digital image to disney for later projects, but grandpa is old... He literally looked like Biden, trying to figure out, what the hell is happening in this movie... I was just sad to see all of this, especially after Caps 2 and 3. Sure, Cap 4 is better than Antman 3 and Marvels, but its still a low tier MCU movie imho. I am glad, that you like it. I love the Eternals, but most people hate it. Thank god there is part of mcu for every taste.

Even though they dumped Kang, this is not the last time you will see him. But just watch Loki. The Kangs at the end were the "Council of Kangs" (which is also a thing in the comics). The egyptian Kang for example is Rama-Tut and the others have names too. It is also unclear how they explain the abscence of Kang in Doomsday without having a big plot hole. Maybe in the recent leaks, I dont know anything about, it is already known, but lets see. There is also a theory that says that Kang from Quantumania and He who remains from Loki are the same variant. Because in one scene Kang had a circular timeline representing the multiverse in his hand, which looks exactly like the sacred timeline from the last episode of Loki season 1. This could be, because the TVA is outside of time and the quantum realm is as well. So all the events happening in Loki and this movie are happening at "any" or "the same" time as all of the rest of the MCU timeline. Even though I dont belive this is the case, but it doesnt really matter at this point. Even though I am hyped for Doctor Doom I am a bit disappointed they replaced Kang instead of recasting him, becasue I think he is a badass villain and a good actor. Just seems to be an idiot in real life. Now Marvel has to make some weird plot twists or plot holes and you lack a somewhat coherent story, which is what makes the MCU so awesome imo. Another fun fact: The scene where Scott and Cassie wanted some lime/citrus is actually a callback to Civil War. When big antman got beaten in civil war and shrunk small he asked if "anyone has any orange slices". And they explained that scene in Quantumania. So when Antman gets big he gets hungry for citrus fruits, which is hillarious imo.

maybe it js wasnt your type of movie but i really dont get how the movie is bad, maybe you could say average, but its not bad at all. the fight sequences especially the one in the air near the celestial was amazing, the vfx and cgi are amazing as well. so yeah maybe you just have a different taste in mcu movies and i understand that, like for example, js like eternals, ppl hate on the black widow movie, but that movie is actually one of my favourites in the MCU.

Yeah rewinding 5 sentences back each time you interject 1 word is a bit much :D But at the same time Woolz misses so much dialogue in each movie it might be needed.. No reaction at all to Kang saying he killed the avengers so many times it became a blur to him already, including Thor, which is such a cool reveal.. Also getting secondhand antsy by the instant gratification "tell me the backstory/name NOW" each time, let it build !!

1 fifth of the movie in and woolz is yelling at the screen about who the conqueror is, but he was shown earlier and part of his backstory is in Loki S1 and a bigger part is Loki S2. Patience, grasshopper haha side note, Kang WAS supposed to be the next big bad and in the comics he's an INFINITELY bigger threat than thanos. And his character is addressed more in S1 and 2 of loki, so you need to finish those . ps : woolz, u want somteing freaky? wathc the last scene of scott's narration. it feels like a glitch in the matrix because of recurring side characters passing by scott more than once, but also the color scheme is purple and green, like kang's clothing: implying that scott's paranoia wasn't far of.

Don’t skip The Marvels, if you enjoyed Love and Thunder, I’m sure you’ll enjoy that one, people love to hate when they didn’t even watch the movie, it’s not just the post credits of that movie that will matter, the movie itself is also important to Doomsday and Secret Wars, if you’re following scoopers, you know what I’m talking about, Captain Marvel will have a role in both movies, and Ms. Marvel will lead the Champions which will be very important in Secret Wars, therefore I also highly recommend the Ms. Marvel show, the show directly ties into The Marvels, Ms. Marvel is an important character all around, so I think it’s best for you to at least give the show a try before brushing it off

and btw please consider watching Eternals, it’s part of the MCU canon, it’s important to Captain America Brave New World which is important to Doomsday cus Cap will take a central stage, and it’s not even a bad movie, way better than Love and Thunder and Quantumania, and this is the MCU stan speaking, the scoopers have been saying that Marvel Studios next Avengers movie after Secret Wars will pick up where Eternals left off, they’re not completely scratching off Eternals, same with Moon Knight, these characters will return in the next Saga, Moon Knight will be important to the supernatural side of the MCU, basically what I’m trying to say is that nothing in the MCU is completely scratched or forgotten except for Secret Invasion, and it would be unnecessary to skip a movie that will be important to future story lines let alone already important to the plot of another movie, when it’s only a 2hrs movie, I would understand more if it were a multi-episode show.

you mentioned Loki season 2, so I thought I should bring up shows that you should watch that's good and important to the MCU, cus it's been a while, except for Ms. Marvel, after Loki season 2, there's Agatha All Along, sequel to WandaVision and part of a trilogy that will end with Vision Quest that's coming this year, it's a great show on par with WandaVision, and you guessed it, without spoiling anything also important to Secret Wars, and Daredevil Born Again, ofc you should finish the Netflix shows before that including the Punisher series, Ironheart is decent show imo, it's worth a watch but people gon hate and tell you to skip, but she will return sometime in the future, and she got an interesting story going, What If season one was actually great, people forget that because the following seasons are mid, but first season is great and could tie into the MCU in some way, another cool animated series is Marvel Zombies great show with a lot of gore and violence, Wonder Man also great show that came out this year, will get a season 2, also will return in future movies just not sure which one, and there are also cool animated shows that are great but standalone and outside of the MCU, X-Men '97, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, forgot to mention, SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS, Werewolf by Night is a great 50 minutes that set up the supernatural side of the MCU in the next Saga, Guardians holiday special already mentioned in comments, Punisher: One Last Kill, I thought it was ok, but probably best to watch it before Brand New Day

so i just finished watching this with you and heres my take... I think they should recast Kang. I feel like it could be a good storyline, but because, as of right now, the Kang Dynasty is in limbo, it ruins the whole Multiverse Saga, as there is no storyline to follow, which is another reason why the Multiverse Saga has flopped. I do, however, think Doomsday will help, but it still doesn't fix everything they have filmed so far, since Doomsday comes after the events of Endgame, making each Marvel movie and show pointless. Marvel has already announced plans to end the Multiverse Saga, which is either the right call or the wrong one; I'm still unsure. At least with the Infinity Saga, there was a story that led into the next big title. In contrast, the Multiverse Saga has never done anything like that, since none of the movie writers got together to help guide each movie where it should have gone, which I think was the biggest problem. A lot of blame for this, though, falls on Disney, Kevin Feige, and Marvel as a whole.

Steve’s unfortunate passing was a freakish accident involving multiple unlikely events happening at the same time. All animals are important for the environment and thus for us.
