They made Namor much cooler than he is in the comics. I also love how they updated his nation, Atlantis is so overdone, it's nice to learn about an underwater city myth from another culture. And having them be Mayan works so well with Wakanda thematically. And then Marvel Rivals mashed the two versions of Namor together 😂

woolz: on the off chance you see this, got a fun fact for ya. in the comics namor was a mutant. yes, as in x-men. luckily some rules have gone away now though (without spoiling in case you don’t know) so it’ll be interesting to see how they use that he’s a mutant in the future

Namor was such a cool villain for this movie. As much as I was upset and shocked when the Queen died, I love me a movie with stakes and villians who deliver on their threats. Can't wait to see more of him.

Woolz, I am begging you, watch the Eternals, you skipped them. I am a comicbook fan, and I am certain that they are much more important for future films, than most of other projects. This film explains hard deep lore of the universe and our planet which might be important in Avengers projects. Plus it is beautifully shot by talented director with minimum green screens.

i'm pretty sure they were showing true emotions during the tribute scenes. RIP Chadwick man took from us too soon. I remember his interview saying that he was sick throughout his whole MCU career and nobody knew about it.

I feel like what BOTH Black Panther movies do so well is that they give you villains that you can understand their point of view. What they feel/believe is accurate they're just going about solving it the wrong way. Also, I feel like this movie did so well in honoring Chadwick. You can tell that both the feelings of the actors and the intentionality of this movie is done with him in mind.

But Frank is introduced in Daredevil S2 and Frank plays a supporting role in BND. It’s the same reason everyone was hoping he’d check out Daredevil before NWH so he wouldn’t be confused when Matt shows up there, I think most people are just trying to prevent that from happening. Granted this only matters if he plans on seeing BND in theaters cuz if he’s waiting for streaming to do a reaction he’s got plenty of time to catch up

Woolz before u watch guardians vol 3 u should watch the guardians Christmas special. It’s about 40 mins long and has a kinda important reveal about something that I’m pretty sure is brought up in vol 3. I guess u could even do that and then vol 3 in the same video or just any time before it

Namor is massively improved here vs in the Comics. The best part about Namor in the comics is his anti villian nature and grey morality which is maintained here, everything else changed about the character, from the aesthetics of the culture of Talokan being very unique instead of a generic Atlantis copy and paste like every other water character ever, to the unique dynamic between Wakanda and Talokan as they exist in the MCU specifically is a massive plus.

Namor was doing way too much in this movie, Shuri lost way more than Namor and she chose mercy at the end, to be fair the mining ship incident was kinda justified with the problems it could cause to his people getting found and what not, but that bridge seen with the by standing officers a bit over the top but reasonable trying to keep his people’s identity secret, but when two of his people got killed in the act of self defense and he declared war on Wakanda taking multiple bodies with him including the queen. This movie could’ve ended quick if everyone just sat down and used their words resolve the conflict. W vid tho.

R.I.P Chadwick Boseman our King T’Challa, this movie was a nice passing the mantle moment for the cast showing us the future for the Wakandan people and their future protectors I can’t wait to see how the story moves on from here, and on small note, am I the only person who messes with mid night angels suit design because everyone seems to have a high dislike for the design I really don’t see the flaws in it, I can’t be the only one.
