This is good however they are still new and might get confused but they have watched some of the videos like I'm Fine and Run where they were a bit confused as to what the video and song were about even fake love so that will give them more context on the videos they have seen and the BTU does have great character development

Would love to see you react to the August D trilogy in order: 1. Daichwita (with DKDK TV explanation) 2. Haegeum (Know you've seen it but as a refresher with Bookish Theories Explanation) 3. Amygdala (with Bookish Theories explination). You can of course give your opinions first of what you think the MV is about and then watch the Army explanation for more detail and a different perspective.

Also, it's time for some of the older rapline reaction. My suggestions are Hip Hop Lover (BTS as a whole), Cypher 1-4 and Outro: Tear (live at Wembley Stadium) Tear is about when they were worn out from working so hard and about to break up. We say they love being in the group but obviously sometimes the pressure and expectations and the desires of 7 people can clash and be too much to take. Suga wrote the song and it really reflects their pain at the time. They said they all cried when they listened to it. Giving it more thought I actually like it that you mix it up where you’ll do videos, live performances, the shows…etc I do think watching the videos will allow you to enjoy the concerts more since you’ll have already been exposed to the songs but I actually like what you’ve been doing.

I chose concerts just because music is at their core. Yet To Come in Busan (Amazon Prime) was the first concert my husband saw and it made him respect them as true artists and performers! I still hold a soft spot for Rise of Bangtan, which I know y’all are leery of. I propose y’all rewatch and react to the first episode, I’m very curious to see if the last few reactions have changed your opinions on any parts of it. It really does help guide new army and teaches korean nuances that are important to understanding them.

Jody just wanna add DKDKTV is not an ARMY perspective. Danny and David started this channel to dig deep into the Korean Wave in 2016. They cover Korean culture, current affairs including negative topics on how life really is in Korea. Cover films, Anime as well as music. Part of their music reviews etc is explaining k-pop videos and lyrics as Koreans. They can explain the cultural references in lyrics and video’s as well as the words that have multiple uses so easily mis-translated, as well as k-pop singers who use slight mispronunciation with words that can then mean something much different. So they aren’t ARMY biased but a neutral explanation of lyrics that are directly talking about Korean culture that we wouldn’t understand.Ddaeng is a classic example, no one but a Korean would get those multiple uses of Ddaeng. Jody they would help you and E-Mann to get the true meaning of the lyrics by understanding what certain phrases mean in Korean culture and historical references. But even with that explained they are still open to personal interpretation 💜🫶

If you want another girl group to listen to I would recommend twice they are one of my favourite girl groups or (g)-idle they are another amazing group. Recently twice done a video which is called killing voice it’s kinda like tiny desk concert where they sing some of their songs it’s really good 💜

We can't hide the fact that they struggled and had thoughts about quitting. The important part is that, as Jin said, they changed their mindset and chose to continue on as a group. Even now with contract renewal, as the guys said themselves, signing was a big decision for all of them. The point is, despite the struggles they have chosen to stay a team. To me it shows how strong the bond is and how much they have gone through together. I also thought that the song really showcases all 3 of their skills as rappers.

I agree about the concerts. I started becoming a fan when I had Covid and was quarantined for 10 days, watched V on Hwarang and then ran out of kdramas to binge. Saw their PTD on Disney+. Then I understood why they were so famous.

I still think you should do the rise of Bangtan and 2nd maybe do some award shows!! Beginning 2016 MAMA then 2017 and so forth you could compare their MMA with the MAMA. Then 3rd concert. And 4th shows like Bon Voyage. I still think you have questions about them and how they begin that's why I say Rise of Bangtan. Some reactors I follow react to them and there are songs you may here that you wouldn't normally come across because they are B side show you are introduced to them through the episode anyways

Also, would love for you to check out some of Jin's solos. If I'm correct you haven't seen any of his solo MVs, right?? I suggest Epiphany live at Wembley Stadium and a live version of Awake. I chose awake cuz I think the lyrics give you a greater understanding of the type of person and older brother to the members he is.
