Yeah, and RM followed Suga’s lead and requested one for himself too. They provided more for the rest in case they wanted to paint as well. But Suga specifically asked for the large sized canvas.

You will see that the room where RM was reading is where Jimin is sleeping. It was late and there weren't so many common spaces where there was quiet, so he went into the room. The second season setup is way different, but you will see it then. There is product placement, but strictly only for their sponsors (the drink filled fridges are provided by the sponsors - their coffee, cider, etc.; here they are wearing Fila and so on.) Everything else is blurred, like Suga's cap when he is painting... This is very serious business and they are very much aware all the time. (In a live once V made a mistake of saying a brand that's not their sponsor and Jimin and Jungkook just got quiet, like, omg wtf swifty eyes and then they started to blurt out their sponsors names to "fix" it, but they were dying laughing, silly things.) The Weverse version is highly Korea-safe, like, JK's tattoos are blurred bc tattoos are still not completely accepted. You won't ever see them killing a fish or even blood. The agency is on this shit all the time, because the production has to be 'sanitized'. Also because of the Korean expectations, you will never see them even half-naked in these shows. Once Jimin is waken up by J-Hope and dragged out of bed half naked: they put a 'shirt' animation to cover him when editing. Remember when they were in the sauna in Finland? In clothes and bathrobes. They are simply not allowed in their shows to show skin, apart from arms and legs. I wish I could see them BTS go to the shower nekkid, but sadly I never will. 🤣

Minimoni comes from (Ji)-Min(i)+(Rap)-Mon(i). RapMon is Jungkook's nickname for Namjoon. They play with their own names too, like Min Suga instead of Min Yoongi; they give their surnames to their dogs: Min Holly, Jeon Bam (JK's doberman, S2 main star lol), Kim Yeontan (V's pomeranian). Of course, there are a lot of shipper or duo names VKook, Jikook, Vmin, Sope etc. In official videos 95s are used very often, as you could see, so it's good to remember. Another tip, Jody: if you skip the subtitles in [square brackets], it is easier to see what the members are saying. The subs in [] are commentary by the person or the agency subtitling in English. Sometimes useful, but mostly not. Try it. And it's good to pay attention to what they are saying because 1. gives you insider info and 2. often very funny (e.g. Jin is just saying all kinds of shit all the time, like they caught a bass, with straight face to fuck with the others).

Yep, pretty much. I have learned a lot about S-Korea since I love BTS and a lot of things are cringy. They are getting better slowly, but that country is just like any other - they could be homophobic, not respect or accept women, old-fashioned in a negative way, like tattoos, etc. Obviously not everyone, respectfully.

You are right Jody, think all of them were going through some stuff. This was filmed during the pandemic, so not too long after they had to cancel their tour. Think they were all feeling a little bit lost. Especially because after their tour they were going to take a well earned rest and work on their solo projects.

It’s significant in Korea to have friends born the same year because you don’t have to treat them like hyungs, or use honorifics in your speech, unless they are higher up than you and you work together. It’s always sweet that Jin takes care of everyone, he’s the oldest but in his family, he was the baby so he wasn’t used to it when they started and he became a big brother quickly.

Why do you guys keep thinking they don’t date people😭 It’s true alot of idols can’t date but Hybe isn’t like other labels someone frm I think sm is on a hiatus group for having a gf. But bts has been in a lot of dating scandals I’m pretty positive they’ve been in relationships but they probably just don’t show it i believe bc they’ve been it’s a lot of dating scandals. i feel eman when he's talking about the whole "missing each other in a relationship" thing and needing space. being around each other all the time can start to get exhausting in my opinion. even the slightest adjustment like spending time alone in different rooms, but in the same house would be a good compromise or whatever. distance makes the heart grow fonder.

I think we have different definitions on what "dating" is. Do i think they snuck to a hidden place and had food and sex? Yes. Do i think they have truly "dated" How normal people date? Not so sure.

You do realize that there are people in their 30s and even older who haven't dated simply because of their careers, right? Just because hybe doesn't have a dating ban and every bts member is shipped with every woman they look at or hangout with, it doesn't necessarily mean they've been in a genuine relationship or have actually took the time to date someone. Same as you think it's silly for them to think bts haven't dated ppl, it's silly for you to assume they have simply bc they are men in their 30s 😭
