I don't care if the members have women in their videos or portray having a family. I know there are Armies who get cuckoo over that but,it's a small percent most want them to be happy. Love the song a lot, the creator of the show Beef directed the video,such a cool concept.

Jody! I really liked your first interpretation of the Mv. There’s definitely something being said about one’s past, present, and future. This song is a pre release for his new album (coming this Friday) which is titled “Right Place, Wrong Person”. My interpretation of this Mv is based off of that title I see it as Rm struggling with societal expectations. There are certain things in life expected from a person in order to function in society, such as: going to social gatherings with friends, having a romantic partner, getting married, having a kid, and even having 2 loving parents. In each of these scenarios, Rm is portrayed as either confused or out of place. It’s as if he isn’t meant for it (right place, wrong person). However, after finding a kindred spirit who is also lost in this maze of life (Rm has often compared life to a maze in the past) he is able to move past the pressure and walk his own path. I think the reason we see these “gone wrong” scenarios suddenly become happy is to show that maybe in another life Rm could genuinely find comfort and joy fitting in to society’s standards. It’s like an alternate universe (alternate universes is a concept Rm is quite interested in). Anyways that’s just my interpretation! Thanks for the reaction 💜

Ngl I was so happy when i started seeing girls come into their videos like I have been an army for 6 years now and I’m glad they are getting more comfortable putting girls in their mv cause at the end of the day they are literally adults like Jin is literally in his 30s and people still think they gonna stay single forever it’s actually crazy.

I've heard some theories say that the woman (who's also lost in the video) represents RM's "anima" from Jungian philosophy. (RM has studied Jung's "Map of the Soul" philosophy, and even wrote a whole BTS album based on it.) Carl Jung described the ANIMUS as the unconscious masculine side of a woman, and the ANIMA as the unconscious feminine side of a man. Remember, in the video, the woman is lost in the maze of rooms, just like RM. And later, while searching for her, he suddenly turns around and finds HIMSELF...then the camera pans back over to the original RM who is now shown to be THE WOMAN he'd been searching for all along. It's like, RM has been exploring all sides of his psyche and finally found it. It's like he's saying that for years he's been just going through the motions of life, lost and confused, but when he finally finds that feminine part of himself, he can now feel whole and can truly enjoy all those facets of life that we go through...socializing with friends, spending time with family, etc. I think the point of showing the innumerable set pieces at the end is a way to show us that life has endless possibilities and we'll inevitably go through many different stages in our life as the years pass...but everything will be ok once we truly know ourselves and the different parts of our psyche.

RM is a poet and philosopher.😍👍👍👍First, funny thing is...Clumsy RM hit the camera and injured his eye, which suits the music video perfectly.😂😂😂 RM's second ALBUM "Right Place, Wrong Person" is so attractive. Especially, The MV's visuals are great! The collaboration with Ryu, who is Art director of the movie "Decision to Leave" very impressed. RM really likes this movie, "Decision to Leave". I like seeing everyone’s interpretations of the video. I had a thought about it being him telling himself to “come back to me” because he’s stuck in all his thoughts of the past, present and future. He couldn’t open that door and it could represent him being stuck in his head, and that woman was there to help him remember the positive/good times. Once he sees the woman in the video, the “good times” are shown. That could be why he now could open the door. He’s at peace with everything. Anyway, I liked all your takes on the video.

The "no opposite sex" comes forth from Kpop culture in Korea, so it's been an expectation for BTS to do so. BTS slowly putting girls in their videos is actually breaking out of the mold of Kpop. They're doing it in a very smart way, slowly showing more girls and being more close with them hahahaha I love it.

A RM dad story: one time he posted a picture with his niece and we all thought it was his reveal that he actually had a hidden daughter hahahaha. ARMYs loved that idea and we had a big party online and trending hashtags.

Honestly I’ve not witnessed any negativity on any platforms regarding their video’s. People are just super excited for stuff to drop. In fact the girl who performed the live shows of like crazy as Jimin’s shadow has garnered loads of new fans from Army and being shown alot of love.

Jody you’d be surprised with how many fans out there want them to find that special person. I can ensure you when they do and if pregnancies happen there’s gonna be huge global countdowns waiting for baby BTS’s running around and being cute. They might break more records. If Jungkook could cause fabric softener to sell out globally, they’ll probably be selling out nappy brands and prams. They won’t have to buy anything for their kids, companies will be giving them everything for free to get the publicity. Can you imagine a mini baby daddy!

Namjoon said that he often thinks about the different paths life, about the choices he made in the past and the mistakes he made, how it all creates different variations his universe. these thoughts have a negative impact on the psychological state of the person. Now Namjoon is learning to accept and trust himself and he reminds himself that decisions he made in the past were the best of all the choices.

My interpretation of the mv is that he’s struggling to fit into societies expectations but after meeting that woman who also seems to be struggling he realizes that he’s not alone in the feeling and is able to look at these possible scenarios of his life with joy. He’s actually talked a bit about this before. Even stated that the thought of kids and marriage is scary for him. I think he’d make a great husband and father though. He’s a girl dad for sureeeee

Sometimes a member will accidentally show a brand on a live, armies will buy it till it's sold out. Its happened with fabric softener, wine, food, and lip balm. That's why in lives or other shows they are careful not to show or say brands they aren't endorsing.

My personal take is that this is a song he's writing to himself. RM is a super smart guy and sometimes when you're that smart you think too much. I think RM often gets lost in worry about his life. The MV was to represent the fact that perception and perspective are the most important things in life. I feel the last woman is a representation of a part of himself and when they found each other, everything else fell into place. He was relaxed and happy in all the previous scenarios after that. Now, that door is interesting. He couldn't get through it without her. It also has round circles in red, green and blue. Perhaps it's a reference to living your life fully in technicolor and getting out of the limited box you put yourself in sometimes. I'm interested to see how RM explains his thought process. But, the songs will be connected throughout the album so maybe we'll get more clues as we go along. Also, only weirdos don't want them to be normal and do normal life things, including finding partners and having families.

Jody, you had same take as me. The album name is Right Place, Wrong Person, which supports that. Because it showed him looking at himself, it will support another theory that he found himself but I think these guys are gradually getting Army used to seeing them with real lives, it’s coming. I think when they left through that door, they left that maze behind, that pattern of getting stuck in what if and man, I do that too. People get stuck in what they know but now they can create new memories, in a different setting, there were way more sets out there than he was in, that’s life. Ty!

Finally mild confirmation that E-Man is JK biased! 😄 Congrats E-Man!! I was also soo confused when I first saw this. lol 🙃 My theory is this MV represents finding self acceptance. The MV relates to the album title right place, wrong person. RM has mentioned he’s a big over thinker many times. That def leads to imposter syndrome where you feel like you don’t belong, you’re the “wrong person” and you can’t enjoy the “right places”. The MV shows him going through many hypothetical scenarios where he’s the “wrong person” in the situation, he’s not comfortable or he causes strife. Then he finds a kindred spirit who helps him gain self acceptance (her outfit is similar to his so this could be self discovery). Then he goes back and realizes he can enjoy the “right places” when he lets go and lives in the moment. So he “comes back” to himself and is able to live in the moment no matter the scenario. At the end she/himself encourages him to venture out of the familiar scenarios to explore more life paths. The movie set style is used cus there’s infinite possibilities to life but also highlights how a lot of life is just an act and you have to find self acceptance/happiness otherwise no matter the situation you’ll feel like the wrong person for that place. Can’t wait for the PTD concert and more ROB! 💜💜☺️

Jody- When Jimin did the live performance on Fallon, he got lots of blowback about it because the dancers were touching him all over and people were saying Hybe must have made him do it and then he filmed something and said the choreography was his idea, and that he found out it was bothering people, and that made him very happy (with a devilish smile). It was so great. They always know what they are doing.
