Missed the BTS reactions, can't wait to see your reactions to season 2.

Ok so I’m not saying this cuz I disagree with y’all comment on competition etc but I just want to clearify something. RM didn’t change anything on his painting that he wasn’t already planning to do. He had the vision on what he was doing from the beginning because what he was painting was the view of the grass, river and tent that he gets from the window of his bedroom, they show what he was painting at the end of the episode where he finishes. And again I don’t think RM doesn’t think Jungkook isn’t a better painter than him, he definitely those, they all acknowledge that he is insanely artistically talented. But my point is just RM did exactly what he planned from the beginning, he didn’t “add” anything, he just wasn’t done. He kept mentioning through out episodes “I don’t think I’ll finish my artwork in time cause he still had so much to do. But I mean I think RM seeing Jk’s might have definitely motivated him to get his done in time so he can show for a finish product🤣Anyways, I definitely think competition is healthy when they themselves want to engage in it. I am however not a fan of other people pushing competition on members of groups. That’s what usually breaks groups up. When fans who are just fans of one member say things like “this member did this better than this one” it can create unnecessary tension between members which is why I think Kpop fans are very sensitive towards it. I don’t see it happening with BTS though because they are all genuinely supportive of each other but that’s just my take one why people might not like the comparison and people trying to make them look like there’re in competition even if it is a harmless one. (If anyone actually read all that…👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💀)

Fun reaction, I also loved the ending with V it's just silly fun you can have with your friends and reminds me of trips I've gone on. Lots of Army are obsessed with them all being equal and it's weird.

Maeee

Disagree, about women not understanding the competitive sport aspect, I'm hella competitive and always have been. It's healthy and fun if u don't take it too far.

Maeee

I guess I didn't put enough context, no I don't mean equal as people are equal lol. Equally talented in everything. Equally loved in everything. it's just not realistic for most people. Everyone will gravitate towards someone and that's just fine. As well as we can recognize that some members are better at other things without it being hate.

౨ৎ gabi

i read it all lovebug 😭 and i agree 100%!

౨ৎ gabi

when jimin popped up on screen and was washing dishes, jody gave such a soft smile.. that was adorable

Aicha Karamoko

Please react to bts your eye tell performance really good 👍

Fifi

Damn, thx for reading all that🥹Ik it ain’t easy🤣

Jackie

Literally died when Jody said he had a dream about being a mermaid😭

WittyRD

I read all of it too and completely agree! Personally I think it’s a touchy subject cus competition always has the potential to turn toxic and become resentment and jealousy in anyone; so the fans are just very protective and don’t want to project that energy on them. We’re just happy letting them enjoy each other’s varied talents and abilities without attaching any sort of ranking or hierarchy to it. Just let em be proud of each other without specifying a “winner” or “better”.

.

I was laughing right along with eman about your mermaid dreams lmaooo☠️☠️

Yennhi

can’t wait till you see in the soop ss2

Dagny

Yup…. agree completely. I read all of it. That was what people were trying to explain, but apparently in vain….. they keep missing the point that he had it all sketched on his canvas from the start, was using a different art technique and openly acknowledged JK’s artistic skills. It isn’t competition when you are willingly trying to learn from each other either. He asked JK about getting the gradient colours etc…. and may have incorporated some in his painting. That is called learning and fine tuning your skills….. a concept they don’t seem to get. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So thanks for your comment. 😊💜

Maeee

There’s a short behind the scene video tooo, that’s super cute!

Jodys Corner

You don't know wtf you're talking about. We didnt miss anything. You are just blinded by fanboy/girlism. Surface level, shallow way of thinking. "It isnt competition when you're willing to learn from each other" spoken like a typical person who doesnt know nothing about competition. @DAGNY

Art is subjective. RM was going for a Pointillist Impressionism style. Georges Seurat did that and has paintings in many many museums in the world. Bob Ross was a very good painter and teacher but his works are only found in a strip mall in Florida. JK is naturally good at painting, no joke, but you can’t compare two different art styles. Stepping off my soap box. The Soop. They are basically camping and if those boys were expected to mop the kitchen and clean the bathrooms there would be behind the scenes video of it. They have never disclosed any personal chefs but they bring food home or have it delivered a lot. I noticed the longer they were at the Soop, they started wearing shoes in the kitchen. 7 guys can be messy. Floor culture is a thing. In Korea, they would heat the floor, not the air, so it’s warmer to sit on the floor and a lot of the furniture is built lower to the ground. Once things started changing, some people got tables that were low to the floor. Historically they would eat squatting down, many of the elderly still do. In some restaurants they still have floor seating but also tables for foreigners. Gimbap. The ham is like that to be easy for making gimbap, it’s like we have our sandwich meat in circles. Gimbap is like their sandwiches rolling strips of food, they eat it often. Looks like sushi, but it’s not. Thank you for doing the behind the scenes. Probably easier to do them as you go. Looking forward to season 2 and Rise of Bangtan. I swear, I think you are the most happy when you are trying to prove Army wrong about something. I’m happy we can be there for you lol. I hope things have calmed down for you Jody. It’s rough when stuff happens all at once. I’m glad the accident wasn’t worse, but still, I bet it was painful for a long time after.

Fifi

Yea I definitely don’t think they have personal chefs for multiple reasons. 1 we have heard tae mention he orders in a lot (he said so in Jinny’s kitchen) we also saw RM order his food when he filmed like a “day in the life” or whatever. 2. Simply the fact that they aren’t even home a lot 💀imagine having a personal chef but you are not even home enough for them to actually cook for you more than half the time🤣. There’s no need for them to have one when they are constantly moving around a lot. I’ve honestly just noticed that Koreans in general if they are not ones that like to cook, they order in ALOTTT. It’s very fast over there.

Linda C.

I heard they have delivery apps, so so much faster, and tourists don’t have access to them.

Sorry to the other comments, but RM himself has said in the group's Grammy Museum interview that there's a healthy competition when it comes to making music. They described that in the company, between the in-house producers and the boys, there's healthy competition when they're working on a song. They all come up with a melody or a beat or a chorus or a lyrics, and some get implemented, and some dont get implemented. But that competition is what produces such a great outcome, because they're always working to get better. RM has also said sometimes he listens to other artist's music, and he can get jealous, because he'd wish he could also create like that. He said that's why he enjoys museums and collecting art, because he is able to just enjoy without thinking about work or competition. (But to define, their "better" is not based on achieving numbers or general approval. That's why I think they still feel competition, but without making it toxic competing for fame or money. It's just about level of quality, or level of genuineness, that they're competitive in.)

Lief

So happy to see you guys, I remember you said you have some private situations you're dealing with Jody. I hope all is well, and wishing good things to you and loved onces. ✨️

Dagny

I am literally basing off your comments and observations from watching this video. So yes, you were all going on with your opinions about competition, how RM improved on his painting after seeing JK’s etc. If people have to clarify or explain about those, then yes, you did miss some stuff. Why is it difficult to just admit you missed some stuff, instead of getting defensive about it? You are giving your opinion, and I am giving mine. If you love competition so much, nobody is telling you to stop, but don’t assume everyone thinks your way. There is nothing shallow about pointing out there is more to life than just competing. People have different priorities, challenges and experiences in their own lives, so how about you stop generalizing?

Jodys Corner

Because i didnt miss anything. You are making up bs. You dont even know what competition is.

Jodys Corner

THANK YOU! i believe you when you said that, because competition can be a good thing. There's no way in hell they didnt compete back in the day when they first joined up all the way to the point that you just made. Its healthy competition. I believe its why theyre go great. Their pushing themselves for greatness. They can phone it in at this point in their career. But i know they wont do that. They will push each other to be better. ESPECIALLY after the military training.

Lief

I also think jealousy is not a bad thing if you deal with it healthily. It can go bad very fast, but that really doesnt have to be the case. My sister's my bestfriend, but I'm so jealous of her style. That doesn't mean I want her style, but instead I use it as inspiration to work on my own style. I'd never turm it into negative energy. When surrounded by good people, in a good environment, I think healthy competition can be turned into a positive thing. Like a sports team. And that's definitely the case for the BTS boys too.

Chlo

Please can you react to their concert 'Yet To Come in Busan'. It was their last concert together before military.

Deleah Smith

Hey Jody!! I hope all is well with you and the family. Glad to have you back. The behind the scenes are always nice thank for sharing. I don't think the boys have a personal chef. SUGA, Jin and Jungkook are actually good cooks. Jungkook has actually cooked on his lives before!!. I think with their schedules it's easier for the. To order out!!! Anyways can't wait for more things. Still waiting for the next episode of Rise of Bangtan and forb you to dibble in some of their live award show performances!!

Chlo

Missing the BTS reactions :(
