I genuinely enjoy seeing the joy on your faces when you watch these types of shows. It reminds me of how happy BTS was when they asked all the men in the crowd to 'make some noise' and it sounded like a sporting event. They have charmed and allowed so many amazing people from so many different backgrounds to relate and connect with them and it is lovely to see.

Now Jody why are you putting your own feelings onto them.? 😂 They've said time and time again that the feel bad about RM being the designated English speaker and want to learn to take the load off of him. And I don't think they're "comfortable" where they're at,but as a person trying to learn korean rn...the shit is hard.

When it comes the the urge to be fluent in English like RM I feel like Jimin and JK want to be fluent to help him as they often talk about the burden RM has and how the wish to ease it also they are the ones who made the biggest solo pushes to the west… while Jhope and V want to learn it as a means of being able to socialize with more people. I feel like Suga and Jin are learning but couldn’t care less about how quickly, they just want to be passable

Jody, here's my perspective/interpretation of what RM was going through...to kind of add to your statement that "RM feels useless in the group, outside of translating." But also to refute your statement that "he doesn't feel like his talents are as valued." I think it's not that he feels useless or undervalued, because remember, he said he ran out of things to say and didn't know what his/the group's message should be now...after the pandemic/after the English songs. You have to understand that RM was/is the main WRITER of BTS' music. (If anything, he might've felt OVERused with the constant writing and coming up with new material. I remember that their boss, Hitman Bang, said early on that he wanted the members to write their own music, so it was primarily RM and then Suga who were writing all their wonderful music all these years. In fact, some of their albums were inspired by works of LITERATURE that RM had read and studied, himself. RM NEEDS to read...he has a voracious appetite for learning and expanding his knowledge and it has resulted in some of the most amazing music that is well-loved by ARMY, some of which you have yet to hear. Anyway, RM said in Festa 2022, that he felt like he needed time to himself and time to explore and experience the world on his own, in order to be inspired to write new music. We ARMY knew it was a well-earned break that they all needed, but especially RM, when they explained all of this during the dinner. After he's released from the military, I hope he (and the other guys) will take the time to meet people and date....though dating for idols is a whole different ballgame in Korea, which is a damn shame. I really hope they find people to love and get married and that people will leave them the hell alone so they can enjoy normal life for once. We know that BTS will always be BTS and they'll continue to make music, but I hope ARMY can realize that these men NEED to slow down a little, especially the older ones. All I want for them is LOVE and POSITIVITY. They've given us so much...now it's time for them to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Jody RM loves to read. It’s something about books and museums he just loves. Even his friends outside of bts said he has this hunger to read and learn new words and go to museums everyday . You should see his house it’s like a museum painting and books everywhere.

- the person they called on the phone at the beginning mr. paik is a famous korean chef. that somehow knows so many idols that they randomly call him for cooking help. 😭 - the fruit game was literally just to have 5 of the same fruits. so if jin puts down a 3 strawberry and someone else puts down a 2 strawberry in the same round 2+3 would make it 5 of the same fruit so they hit the bell. it’s quick easy math, but you have to be fast on your feet and try to predict the next players cards. - masks are a norm in korean society, i see eman mention the masks often in these reactions as if they are sick but koreans typically wear masks and have always worn them way before covid bcs of the dust levels in the air and just they do it bcs its normal to them. - the breakfast jhope made with eggs was inspired by american cuisine as korea doesn’t have breakfast meals like we have in the us they just eat wtv. - jimin is actually closest to taehyung as they are the same age and thus have attended high school together, took the bus or even walked to practice side by side everyday after class. they call each other their “soulmate” and have written the song friends about their close bond/relationship. jimin and taehyung both have said they show their authentic selves with one another, are able to cry comfortably and rely on one another. jimin is just that person that everyone goes to bcs he is well, jimin. comforting, empathetic and understanding. he’s like a safe place to go to with your issues so i also do believe jimin was probably among the first people he talked to.

- also learning english is hard as hell. 😭 especially more so for people who are so busy they don’t even have proper time to relax, sleep and to just be. jimin and jk have both mentioned wanting to learn english to help rm but the english language is so far off from korean that, it is not easy to grasp at all. there are even certain sounds the english language has that the korean language does not. like hard r/l sounds. rm was frustrated with the company during festa so him saying he feels like he’s just a rap machine who translates was more directed at the company than the other members. hybe has always pushed rm to translate this and that, and to produce and produce some more. he was fed up 😭 - the squid game candy or dalgona is more so a nostalgic, childhood snack. they sell them in the front of schools and the students would then buy them and cut out the shapes for fun. it’s not made all that often just bcs !

What that mean is you share your opinion a d speak as if it's facts you tend to do that a lot. example ( You go on to say they're feeling xyz, instead of saying I wonder if they are feeling xyz). I honestly think you guys would understand the dynamic of the group and the respect of the friendship. Also you guys were talking about Jungkook the only one who's learning English after you both saw Jhope taking actual lessons online in the series you both are watching 👀 I thought that was so funny 😁 but sorry this was a lot 💀

I think Hobi and Jimin are the closest 😔 Rm Even said it in festa if you go back that Hoseok will always be number 1 to Jimin then the rest of them. Which is understandable when I was a new Army I didn't know that Jimin and Jhope were roommates from the first apartment to the last which is crazy that they would rather share a room than have their own which is also a selfless act imo 😉 Also you guys haven't watched BonVoyage 4 yet but Jungkook admits that he's closer to Jimin and Jhope (in that time of their lives) he said that he only visited and hung out with those two during their month long break 😄

Also I don't think it's about wanting a "robot" with out a "real opinion " , but I think as consumers of the content that you're releasing people are going to have opinions ,especially when u say things that aren't necessarily true.

The problem isn't you giving your honest opinion. It's just when you take your opinion and treat it as fact ,I think its normal as a consumer and a fan of the boys to find that frustrating. This is coming from a person who genuinely enjoys your content and this is something that I notice you do alot when it comes to the BTS. It's no hate its literally just an observation.

Opinions are just that , but when you say " they all learn English, but they're comfortable where they are and don't want the responsibility of having to be the speaker" it's no longer an opinion that's kind of creating your own facts, especially when they've said otherwise......I just think that sometimes they can say one thing and you'll be like " what they really meant was this" and it's usually not something positive. Even though they just stated otherwise .

Thats NOT how opinions work.... my WHOLE statement about the RM frustration (including why they dont rush to learn english) is my OPINION. You can't dictate what constitutes an opinion after I said the follwing is my OPINION. What make you feel like you can select snippets of my overall opinion and say that I treat them as facts? ITS ALL OPINION. Got dayum. My delivery, negatitivity and mood in which I deliver my opinion is what annoys you. And that is fine, but don't make statements like im treating my opinion as fact, ESPECIALLY after I said "the statement that I am about to make is MY opinion"

Jody, when you react to the rise of bangtan again, before watching ep 3, don't forget to watch the deleted scenes from eps 1 and 2 (I don't think there are bonus scenes from these episodes). Its better to watch everything together because they are like sequels, and the bônus scenes are extremely fun. I know you have a lot of things to react to, but I'll be waiting 💜
