Forgot this bs was dropping. I hope it’s good

Solid 1st episode. You can tell the quality isn’t as good as the movie but everything else I liked. The 1st episode made me want more and even though it was slow it gave me enough at the end to say okay now we are going places. I feel next episodes should be more chaotic with much more brutality and killings. I give this episode an A.

It was decent. My problem with the Penguin is, he feels both big and small at the same time. How are you a loner who talks about "guys like us need to stick together" like some small time crook, but at the same time you got all these dealings and contacts with the biggest mob families in Gotham? Why does he matter to them?

Jodys Corner

Exactly! The're trying too hard to humanize Penguin while maintaining his savagery. You have to choose. Is he a bad guy or a nice guy?

Dess🌺

Are you gonna post the finale of are you sure today?

23:00 Those were NOT women 💀

Jonathan Blaze

His sidekick looks like The Weeknd. B episode.

toomuchsoup

He’s manipulating the kid. He’s a mid-level criminal and like Falcone’s daughter said, he’ll do and say anything to win. The ending was proof of that.

PAC

My expectations for this show were extremely low. It was a bad first episode. There were some flaws, but the positives outweigh the negatives. It was cool seeing the Penguins mom to give him more backstory. Penguin showed some quick thinking on certain parts. The kid that looks kinda like J Cole I'm ok with being his partner. That movie quote is from Tropic Thunder 😂. Decent first episode and it's a B+.

Meepo

When it comes to Batman not being a part of the show so far it makes sense. Batman’s state of mind at the end of the movie was realizing he needs more Bruce Wayne to make a difference in Gotham. So he’s probably not jumping straight back into the suit till he gets other priorities in order.

Jodys Corner

Good point! Batman doesnt always need to be the protector of Gotham. He is human luke us!

Jodys Corner

So that means by the end of the season Penguin will be a totally different criminal on boss level?
