Omg. First. Really love ur reaction videos. Keeep safe guys ❤️

Joe

Hey jody i can understand what you are trying to say. I feel the same way about SUGA like there is certain thing in him which feels like he had been through alot and i love him for who he is. I am a Jimin bias and after him i feel i like suga and jhope alot.

Keyz J.

I believe Yoongi said that August D represents a side of him that was very Angry and maybe sad as well, but after releasing the DDay album he (at that time) had no more to say as Agust D because he's in such a different more positive place. But I definitely agree with feeling that strong emotion when you see him performing songs like this.

April Forgue

The amygdala is a small, almond-shaped part of the brain that's involved in processing emotions, especially fear. Suga mentions his mom's heart issues, dad's liver cancer and his accident on the motor bike as a trainee he kept the accident a secret and did not tell the company for fear of being kicked out. I love how open he is with his music. He has so many songs that have made me cry, no one else does that to me.

Minnie

I feel you Jody a lot here. like Jiminie is my Bias, been for years now, but emotionally i'm more conacted with Yoongi. I went and i'm still going through a lot of the same things that Yoongi been talking in his Solo Songs about and his songs did really help me a lot. His song "Nevermind" (Jiminie also has the Song as a tattoo on his ribcage) and "The last" resonated with me the most. Hopefully you check them out one day. What i mean to say is, I understand what you feel and what you're trying to say. Yoongi is such an amazing human being that went through a lot but still helped millions of people, including me. So he always going to have a special place in my heart^^

Maeee

I cried the first time I watched this video, I relate to Yoongi so so much and hearing this live was also crazy... I think you guys will love IU's Palette with SUGA. He talks about the anger and sadness he had and thankfully has mellowed out a bit.

JKLS

Content like this is why i keep coming back to Jody and Eman whenever I have the $10 to spare. Thanks for reacting to this video. I still get emotional whenever I hear this song. This is the one that made me LOVE Yoongi.

Tali90

Really liked this reaction. Jody i would really like you to react to some more Suga/ Agust D content: IU - Palette with Suga ( its a great interview and you can hear some more singing Suga also: https://youtu.be/OP9I2w7UMDc?si=uukF1DXcAJ2BBR4q It would also be great if you could check out the shooting sketch of Amygdals…Suga explains somethings about the mv there : https://youtu.be/sv9hO-UzKhA?si=a-407BVeh-exSu00 And here are some great emotional live performances (fancams)from the Final D-Day Agust D Tour with eng subs ( Suga was really emotional in Dear my friend, but you will get why, when your hear the song and see the translation): Life goes on: https://youtu.be/tIis0DLw5fg?si=-r1FRFiBFqtdUQjD Dear my friend: https://youtu.be/Y-T-YEuntMA?si=-UaoLZTm96zHxNVf I know its a lot but i really think you will enjoy and appreciate this content.

LOVE this reaction from you guys!! Another great conversation with y'all being so open and vulnerable, especially you, Jody. And I totally feel what you were feeling and meaning to say. I think we all can totally relate to your feeling of empathy and sorrow for Suga. He makes you want to protect him...and do something to make up for the hurt he's gone through in his lifetime. My bias is Jimin, and for the longest, I didn't care for Yoongi but it was for the same reason as you, Jody...I just didn't know him yet. So, I get it. And I'm glad you've totally done a 180 by giving it time.

Lief

Jody not you almost making me cry. Yoongi is just Yoongi, I completely relate to you not being able to put it to words. I feel so much for his heart. Like to many he seems cold, but when people tell him they were scared of him at first, he'll get sulky. And even though he seems the most harsh out of all the members, he says he doesn't really raise his voice at anyone in real life. It's the other side of Agust D, he also has many heartbreaking songs like this on his albums. Because this man has been through a lot, like damn, that angry and savage Agust D wasn't born out of nothing.

Jessie

Jody, I think you feel a deep sense of empathy for Yoongi. Somehow, you're opening your heart. Both of you are becoming more philosophical. Best o

Lief

Other songs, which scratch your soul, and in which Yoongi really opens up, are " The Last" and "Dear My Friend". I'm not sure though if you've reacted to them before.

Maeee

I’ve been asking for palette for so long😭 hopefully they react to it, it’s my all time favorite Yoongi interview ever (the suchwita and IU one is great too! I think they’re great musicians who understand each other and the industry really well)

Lief

And also, how're you? It looks like hell on earth in LA. I hope you and your families and friends are staying safe. I have you in my thoughts and that life and health may return to you as normal ❤️

Jessie

Jody, I think you feel a deep sense of empathy for Yoongi. Somehow this song, strikes a chord in you. You are becoming more philosphical. His raw lyrics has a very strong impact on me, too. In the beginning, I focus on the maknae line but as soon as I get to know them, Yoongi becomed bia bias. Best of luck to both of you.

Sherifa Shush231

he just evokes ppls Empathy u feel for him and wanna protect his precious heart 💜 The Last is such a good song it always gets me! and Dear My Friend too 💜💜💜💜

Kimberley

Hey, Jody if you liked this check out the song The Last off of his first August D mixtape. He talks about the depression and anxiety he dealt with it's a really deep song.

K

This is why I always say bts rapline are the best rappers in k-pop. They are authentic af and write their own stuff. When this first came out I loved it so much it’s so emotional And talks about real stuff in his life. This mv was so great and the lyrics were even better

Maeee

One day I’d be great if you reacted to the D-Day live (like u reacted to some of Jk’s live songs) and his documentary, there’s a lotta heart in it and shows some producers that y’all will know as well! Really Excited for a D-Day album listen pls~

Jackie

I understand that connection Jody feels. Your reaction reminded me of his character in the begins youth drama. Wayyyyy to many feelings

Jaxyn

First off I hope you both are safe and well. Thank you for this BTS (agust D) reaction. I absolutely know what you mean when you’re trying to convey how you are feeling. Jimin is my bias but Suga has made a definite impact on me and is my favorite in the rap line. You can feel everything he has been through. Loved the reaction ❤️

Jodys Corner

Thank you! Were fine. That Suga feeling hits different

Ariane Guimarães

Great reaction guys, this song always gets me emotional, loved seeing your reaction Jody. If you liked this one you will definitely love Snooze. Amygdala always makes emotional but snooze never fails to make me bawl my eyes out. If you can, in the future please react to it.

D R

If you guys ever need a laugh I highly recommend kpop misheard lyrics or BTS misheard lyrics. You might bust a lung. There's also the BTS dubbed series by Cameron Phillips who is a huge og ARMY. Most ARMY loves it and can take a joke. Only the weird toxic ones hate on it. Just some ideas for future videos. I'm really interested in what you guys will make of it. 🤗🤭

D R

Absolutely love Suga and everything he puts into his solo work. You can tell he's passionate af about music and telling his story. He puts his heart into whatever he makes😍

EleP

Thanks for the reaction! I cried when I first saw this song. She is so emotional. If there is a chance, watch his solo concert, it is beautiful! 🥹

Jodys Corner

Ngl, i was holding back tears on this video.

Jodys Corner

I barely made it through THIS video without crying. Idk if i can handle Snooze

Jodys Corner

LA outskirts are on fire. Were in the actual city, so no danger here except the terrible air quality that affected my asthma.

Jodys Corner

I swear, watching him does something to me. I get so raw with emotion when i see him perform and hear him..... its sounds weird, but I feel him a lot.

Jodys Corner

Im low key scared to watch more Yoongi.... lol

Amanda Michelle

So glad to hear this. (not the asthma part) My 81 year old aunt is in Ingleside and my whole family have been so worried for her. But she says there's no forest around her to make the fire spread her way. I hope that's the case and it doesn't jump from trees to burning primarily houses. 🥺 Stay safe Jody and it's probably a good idea to wear masks when you go out.

Jodys Corner

Yeah, just the fresh pack of N95 masks on deck. That you for asking about us

Lief

Yes my cousin is also in LA and sent a picture of the dark grey sky, absolutely sick. Take care of yourselves! Who knew face masks would become a primitive need in this world.

Michelle James

Hey Jody did you hear that Jhope is going on tour.

JKLS

He has a documentary on Disney+. It’s called Suga: Road to D-Day. It’s the doco on the making of his album and he has live performances of the songs shown. I was a new-ish BTS when he had his world tour. I so regret not trying to watch him cause after all the members’ solo stuff has been released during this hiatus, I liked his album the best.

Yahel Poveda

Hi Jody, I'm glad to read that you and your family are all well & safe in LA. 😉Thanks for this reaction, and I completely understand what you are trying to say about your feelings towards the boys, you are identifying your biases and it is normal after getting to know them more. Yoongi is my Bias wrecker and at first it wasn't like that, but after getting to know him more and seeing the artistic genius that he is, how real and genuine his lyrics are, my admiration for him is infinite and he deserves all the recognition just like the rest of the guys. I had the opportunity of being able to attend 2 of his concerts in LA, and I'm really hope you can react to his Dday show and his documentary, because I'm sure it will blow your mind. 🙌🏼 Hugs from Panamá! 🇵🇦

Yennhi

Yoongi always have a special spot in my heart the feelings i got for him is also can’t be explained my faves Suga song of all time is So Far Away and i recommended the jin and jk ver. it help so much for my depressions and let me have a Dream and Hope.

Chlo

His music is so powerful. When you listen and watch Suga/Agust D you feel a real human connection with him. His powerful lyrics and intense music makes you feel something more deep than others. You can really tell he's been through sh*t and it's brave how he opens up to us his way in his songs. Don't worry JODY I think everyone cried when they first watched this. Thanks for the reaction. Borahae!

VancityGal

Seeing Yoongi overcome his traumas has been an extremely cathartic experience for me. When I watched this the first time, I cried my eyes out for him and for me. He captured the feeling of being trapped in your own mind so beautifully. BTW, the pills were actually his, likely anti-depressants. But as he healed they turned to almonds. Almonds representing the Amygdala's shape in the brain 🧠 and also health. When he finally walked through that door on stage it was truly special to see. Man has a hold of my soul. So happy he made it out of the darkness. 💜

Jodys Corner

Nope. do they cover his tour while he is touring?
