I think Suga also said that when he writes for BTS he wants to send a positive msg to his fans and when he writes for AugstD he expresses his problems and issues which I think is cool btw BTS members OWN shares in Hybe and BigHit they literally built and own this!! they can do what they want pretty much. I don't know what ARMYs that would be upset with them having girls in their videos dude Id be so happy for them if they announced their weddings🤣 Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I believe at the beginning of BTS the rapline were able to use their craft more in their songs and say more of what they wanted to say but as soon as BTS got more and more popular and as soon as they went mainstream/international they were toned down a lot and the rapline had to take a backseat. I love BTS' recent music a lot,don't get me wrong, but they're older music was more raw because they were speaking their truth more in their lyrics. It's sad to see that the more they have become successful as a band the more they've had to tone down what they really want to put in their BTS songs, they wanted to "fit in" in a way, for example, the english songs, they were great pop songs that instantly became hits but when you look at the lyrics, that's not BTS, that's just the same old rubbish that goes in every pop song that plays on the radio. This was most likely the companies choice of action rather than BTS'. So the members turned more to their solo projects to convey how they truly feel. The rapline were the main ones behind BTS' songs from the beginning , so to see their control being taken away is like taking away a huge part of who BTS is. I'm glad that they have been able to be themselves more in their solo projects but I do miss them bringing that into BTS' music more like they did in the beginning. I believe HYBE definitely has got something to do with it. Hopefully in Chapter 2, BTS can take back the controls and feature all the members solo styles into their music and they don't hold nothing back, they can be their authentic self, like the old days. I think you're right. Their creativity was on full display earlier in their careers.; I can agree with that. They're still great, but less explorative.

No doubt that they are great, always. To this day one of my favourite albums of theirs is Love Yourself:Tear (2018). Can't wait to see what Chapter 2 brings! 💜
