Jody, do yo uthink you might be too tainted by GOT because of seasons 7 & 8 to rver really get into anything GOT-related without starting from a place of expecting disappointment? This show isn't on GOT level, and maybe it's not your cup of tea, but do you see getting deeper on why you think it's trash? Maybe you could make a standalone video on it, and maybe HOTD, why you think they're trash, and what it would take for you to be "pulled back in".

Why are you guys allowed to call everyone that likes this show fanboys, but when the people that like the show call you guys haters for not liking it, it’s a big deal. It’s very hypocritical. At the end of the day movie/TV taste is all subjective and everyone has their own opinion. I will say though that overall this show has high ratings and it seems that the majority of people like it. You don’t have to like it but that’s the facts.

Also, this show might be “boring” to you guys but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the writing/direction of this show. It has great characterization and world building and is very grounded and unique in a good way compared to the other GOT shows. I’ll stand on saying that you are definitely tainted by the way GOT ended and by the GOT/HOTD vibes those shows give. It’s different but still good in its own way.

This book is not a timeline book but a short story novel. Right now during this time the Queen is Dornish she is a Martell. This is how Dorne joins the Seven Kingdoms. Through this marriage alliance. This is why Baelor the guy sitting and his son have the dark hair. And the younger brother Maekar and most of his sons have the white hair like the King. Around this time i think this King was trying to chill out on the incestuous marriages. Because there had been problems especially from that Kings father who ruled a long time and was considered a tyrant and deviant. And started a war on his deathbed by legitimizing all of his bastards. That is the song that boy is singing about that war. So this king had his children marry other houses for alliances mainly and to get away from the incestuous stigma.

Me calling out fanboys is not the same as you saying were retarted for not liking the show. I understand Fanboys. But they dont understand the hustle of YouTube. I literally don’t like everything and I’m not at all a fanboy and I don’t at all have to watch other YouTubers or reactors give their opinion to form my own. I didn’t like any episode of HOTD S2 after EP 4 and I’m scared about the direction it’s heading. But at the end of the day all I do is simply watch what is being put in front of me with an unbiased and open mind and form an opinion based off that. I understand that there are fanboys that will like anything that is put in front of them regardless if it’s good or not but that’s not the discussion here. My point was is that I think that you are just severely scared from the GOT ending and the latter half of HOTD S2 and it is severely skewing your reaction to this show. This show does have some slow parts to it and it’s definitely in its own lane pacing wise but to say it’s complete and utter garbage is ignorance. I still don’t think you’re fully grasping or understanding the vibe/ concept this show is trying to give you.

I’m not going to go for that. I won’t compare the greatest show of all time to a show that has 3 episodes released. But yes, the characterization has been pretty good so far if you are open enough to understand what the show is trying to sell you.

Yeah if he told you he is Aemon from the Watch he lied or really didn't know himself. That is Aegon. Daenery's grandfather in the show but great-grand father in the book. Aemon talks about him in the first season and in another season while he is dying

You admitted to still watching this product even after you said HOTD fell off a cliff and defend this slop and call it prime beef. If i didnt have a YouTube channel I never would have watched this series. YOU still do though. Wonder why? Because youre a fanboy. Does me calling you a fanboy offend you? Most fanboys take pride in their fandom of GOT. If you take the word "fanboy" as an offense then I will stop calling you a fanboy. BUT you better damn well believe I take it offensively when a fanboy on the internet challenges my 140 IQ intellect over a MID show such as this! GOT is far more advanced than AKotSK yet, I underatand that show PERFECTLY well. But THIS show is too much for me to "Understand what the show is trying to tell you" FOH with that! 140 IQ!

I hate that you’re not a fan of this show but thanks for still reacting. Episode one I wasn’t a fan of but I think they have gotten better as they go along. I’ve read all the Dunk and Egg novellas and I think as this show goes on it will grow on you. This isn’t a Game of Thrones show. It’s a show set in the world of GoT. So it’s not alway going to hit the same. HoTD and GoT have the same feel, but AKotSK is going to feel different, not as many plot lines to keep up with.
