I am finally free from working for other people and financially okayble enough to get back to book stuff, so here I is, once again.

If any of you are, for some reason, not also followers of my Twitter or YouTube, I've been spending the past few months making animated segments for SoundSmith's "Mann's Guide" series. He was pulling a double whammy, double feature for this year's installment, and that mean lots of work and lots of money to keep me alive, but also not so much time, and not at all... time to work on Third Eye-related endeavors.

But now those are done, and I've got enough money in the bank to let me focus on getting things here moving again. If you haven't seen the Mann's guide stuff, you can check them out here!

And I did a compilation of just my parts and some behind-the-scenes stuff here

So now that I've got time back in my hands, I'll be focusing on getting things moving on the Kickstarter I keep talking about, making dates for, having life come up behind me with the steel chair, and have to keep pushing back. That's mostly going to be preparing the promotional material for it. I have to keep putting it in people's faces as much as possible over the course of the campaign with new things to keep them interested.

The plan is to make storyboard animatics like the kids these days love so much of both narrated segments from the book, and random audio that I have in the "videos with character energy" channel of my personal Discord server. You know, shit like this.

I've been dabbling around with drawing myself and have been pretty surprised by how much better I've gotten in that time. Nowhere near where I want illustrations or character designs for the book to be, or where the artists I commission are, but good enough to make a few gift artworks for friends.

Speaking of art, we have the near-final" designs for the pins. "Near-finished" meaning "Artwork may be changed based on manufacturer's specifications and requirements for production" posted at the bottom of the promotional image.

Last for the KS stuff, the initial goal will be 10K USD to get the final six characters designed, and the cover and 12 illustrations. the stretch goals I've decided on will be 5 Additional illustrations, 3 Variant Covers, pins of the yet-to-be-designed characters, an Audiobook of book 1, and a Visual Novel version of book 1.

The last one is a reeeeeaaallll stretchy stretch goal, but if I get the funding it's not outside of the realm of possibility.

One last thing, I've been kicking the idea around and starting early next year, I'll be putting out a bi-weekly little something something where I record myself talking about things going on regarding writing, the creative process and the series in general. I find myself wanting to talk about my stuff a lot, but always feel bad about subjecting people to it, so this way, if anyone actually wants to hear it they can.

I'll be discussing whatever I'm writing in the book that week, things I like about it, things that it sets up, things I want to share about the worldbuilding, and the whole experience of making things. It won't be edited to heavily, and is mostly just gonna be me talking off the top of my head about whatever I think would be interesting.

I'm also doing it so I can put out something not as taxing for you guys on a regular basis while I'm still writing the rough draft of book 3, since it's in a state that can't be shown to anyone since it's mostly unreadable unless you're... you know, me. I might also think about releasing it publicly after some time, but it's mostly for you guys as a treat and a thanks for keeping me 80-90 dollars out of the red.

That's all I got. Please be cool and safe and thank you and I love you.
