Also, if it helps, jjk has lots to offer as the story progresses in terms character study rather than being bogged down in the technique mechanics. Im really excited for you to get further into the story for this reason

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet?? but I like it this series has so many references to other animes/movies for example in this episode yuji watched lord of the rings

domi

Since youre probably gonna watch the op after the show: fun fact, the opening changes certain parts after some things happen, like for example gojos eyes are not shown untill he takes off the blindfold. I think next ep is the first time you see them in the op. Theres also a part towards the end where the characters are having a picnic, and they slowly start to appear as they do in the anime.

Sukuna isn't a cursed spirit, this show translates 'curses' and 'cursed spirits' weirdly in the subs sometimes. Cursed spirits are guys like Jogo whilst curses describe bad things in general like disease so by calling Sukuna the king of curses it simply means he's the king/the worst of all curses, this is not really explained well in the show. But i guess another part of why people think sukuna is a cursed spirit is because he's evil like the rest of the curses we've seen lol

if infinite void floods the mind with loads of information wouldn't you be really smart if you survived it?

I love how Gojo taking his blinfold off makes always people sound so excited and talk about it like he is taking his pants off or something haha😭 I loove himm

DrSophieDarlingReacts

They literally call him a Curse and refer to Itadori as part curse so I'm going to follow the information the show gives to me.

Satoru Gojo is very hot and those eyes are a major plus. I like the video game analysis of the various cursed techniques.

I’ll add this only because it is never explained in the show, but was added in extra published material alongside the manga, and I’ll do it without giving any spoilers on information that the show will provide later. Gojo does wears the blindfold intentionally, not because they’ll hurt anyone around him, but he does it so that he can properly connect and relate to those around him. Because reasons that will become clear through the show later. Again, only posting this because the question “why the blindfold” never gets answered in the show or manga, but was published as like an extra character sheet that was given alongside the manga. Gojo has quite a bit of extra content published around him (not stories, but extra information about the character, powers, etc. that didn’t have a good place to be brought up in the story)

Not all information is useful, though. Information can literally just mean white noise. Patternless, meaningless, noise.
